Been going to this mall since I was a kid. It's obviously much more modern now, but still a bustling hangout and New Jersey staple. Malls in Florida are nowhere near that populated, but maybe it's the cold that keeps everyone indoors! The food court food was decent, the stores were clean, and the walk was enjoyable. I must say, I miss the old arcade from the 80s, but I don't hold it against them to say goodbye to it! read more

This is a good mall with the real anchor store here being the Macy's. I usually do most of my Christmas shopping here. They have just about everything on a shopping list so it fits your needs. The Bath and Body stores are good as is Hot Topic and Tates Menswear. The JCPennys is good too. Across the way is Dicks Sporting Goods. There are a couple movie theatres and plenty of food options. CAVA just opened near the Dicks as well. Parking is plentiful but like anyone else I'm jockeying for spots close. It's usually pretty safe and there are plenty of security guards but just be careful going to your car at night. A good mall. read more

Willowbrook Mall is one of my go-to places for shopping. Whenever I visit, it's clean and easy to navigate with an abundance of stores to choose from. I appreciate the variety of businesses there, making shopping or gift hunting a breeze. There's plenty of restaurants that can accommodate most dietary needs and there's usually fun food pop-up stands in the central main area of the mall. There are many additional stores in proximity to the actual mall, making it super simple to buy everything you may need on a errand run within the area. read more

Very busy mall on Sundays. Parking lot is a war zone. Good selection of brands (express, VS, pandora etc). Good discount price for holiday season if you are looking for gifts. Staff in the mall are overall nice. They have strollers (car shape) for rent. Good for small kids. read more

Bergen county residents' favorite mall on Sunday :P. They still have a JC Penny somehow, and Aeropostale too. Express is still open here, went there to make a return. Mall was busy. Restrooms were a mess, stalls missing toilet papers, soup. I do like how each store puts their name plate outside, making it very easy to locate from far. read more

With over 160 stores the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, N.J. is the 6th largest mall in the State. It is open 7 days a week. There are very few vacancies. Like most malls it has it's anchor stores like Bloomingdales, Macy's and JC Penny's. I frequent the Apple Store, IFix Station and on occasion Blaze Pizza in the large food court. The mall is kept clean and is well lit. Security has a visible presence both in the parking area and inside the mall. Their could more directories which would be especially helpful to those unfamiliar with the mall. Around the perimeter of the mall are familiar stores like Costco, Dick's Sporting Goods, Panera Bread, etc.. There is a N.J. Transit Station located in mall parking area which is extensive. The transit busses take you to Port Authority Bus Terminal in mid-town Manhattan. I always take the transit. Crossing the George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel or Lincoln Tunnel will cost you at least $13. To park your car in NYC will cost you $10 to $40 an hour roughly depending which part of Manhattan you wish to park. read more

This is a very nice mall. They have a lot of my favorite stores including Bath & Body Works and Macy's and the food court is absolutely amazing. The only other mall food court I have seen with all of my favorites in one place is Palisades Center. I just wish the mall had a decent toy store and a carousel like Woodbridge Center has. read more

Anyone who enjoys lovely scenery and cleanliness, consider Willowbrook Mall. Getting into the parking lot is pretty decent, and there are plenty of spots to find even was it's crowded. There's quite a variety of stores to choose from, some businesses you won't find in other malls, and of course, general retail. I enjoyed seeing it along my walk. I didn't find too many entertainment stores here, except a jumping launch, which is called Bungee Zone, and Dave and Busters (restaurant as well). The food court has a number of food places to choose from, along with many tables. On busy days, it will be packed during the lunch and dinner rush. You also have restaurants to choose from as well, including Cheesecake Factory, and Yard House. I truly enjoy the architecture at Willowbrook and do a wonderful job keeping it clean. For anyone who hasn't visited, check it out. Note - BJ's, Yard House, Dave and Buster's, and Cinemark are not accessible from the mall, in other words, they have their own entrance. read more

Willowbrook Mall is a thriving mall and still brings in people. It greatly benefits from its location, being so close to Rt. 46 and other businesses and shopping plazas built around it. The Cinemark, Dave & Busters, big box stores Costco and BJ's Wholesale Club draw in crowds of customers. Willowbrook also offers a wide selection of food options at various price points. It's a good option if you need to/want to go to a mall. read more

Been to the Willowbrook Mall many times - they have a variety of stores including department stores, sneakers, sporting goods and more. Food court, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks,Cinnabon, and more... Ample parking all around and easy to go about the mall. Parking is also free here. Been here early on the weekends and it hasn't been too crowded or busy - most of the food court opens at 11AM on the weekends. Stores don't open too early. Restrooms for the most part are well maintained. Some stores closing and new ones opening... BJ's is opening this fall...can't wait. There's a bus stop that will take you to Port Authority Bus Terminal - from either the Willowbrook Mall stop or the Willowbrook Park N Ride. read more

Willowbrook Mall is usually a little bit out of my way when traveling in New Jersey, so I had never stopped here before. I should have not waited this long to visit, as this was an unexpectedly nice mall. Yes, it has some vacancy's and clearly work was being done during my visit externally, but that didn't affect my experience. Plenty of parking and multiple entrances are available. Interior of the mall is very nice and clean with the mall having two floors throughout a large portion. Store selection is also nice, with many mid-market options, and it doesn't feel stuffy or too high end. Other features that stood out was the large food court with many options. The Macy's is also one of the nicest I've seen. If you can't find what you are looking for at the mall, the area around it is heavily built up and offers options like an AMC Theater, Costco, Dick's, and JCPenney. Overall, Willowbrook fills a nice place among the New Jersey malls, as it's not too large like American Dream, not overly high end like Short Hills, and not in trouble/challenged like Livingston or Rockaway. Willowbrook Mall is absolutely worth a visit. read more

When did Willowbrook Mall become a dog park? In recent months, there are many people walking their dogs through the mall with no intervention from staff or store personnel. These are not guide dogs, service dogs or therapy dogs- those animals are approved, and generally wear garments indicating their purpose. These are family pets of all sizes and breeds. Several have relieved themselves, with little or no attempt by owners to clean up. I love dogs... this is just ridiculous. read more

First time at Willowbrook Mall in about four years or so. They have added some things since my last visit. Perhaps it's only me, but I am not and never have been too impressed by this mall. To be fair, I am not an avid 'mall shopper' per se. However, there are other malls I do not mind. This one, not so much. I needed to stop at Spencer's and thankfully, it was not too crowded on a Sunday. If you're looking a mall with a decent directory of stores, it's a good option. Keep in mind, the store directory/map is not accessible throughout the mall. Everything is digital and must be found via cell phone. Maybe I am still old school, but I miss the days when the mall directory was near the entrance and you could easily locate the store(s) you were looking for. I am a little embarrassed to admit how long it took me to find Spencer's; it was tucked away in a corner at one end of the mall. More than anything, I got in A LOT of steps lol, unintentional or not. This mall was nice and air conditioned. Really clean. It wasn't crowded at all. They have lots of stores through the two floors, a nice food court (something for everyone). Massage spot, eyelash threading, T-shirt maker, CBD; amongst other things. read more

Picture-painted, quaint mall. I was here Christmas 2022. Expansive parking allows numerous visitors to easily and conveniently drive to the anchor stores or the food court. Beware of bad drivers from places like Pennsylvania and especially the idiots from Massachusetts. The Willowbrook Mall is very clean and bright, even when it is bad weather. All the stores you could think of are represented. From high-end fashion, to Apple, Starbucks, to Barnes & Noble, Sunglass Hut, Hollister,Macy's and more. The Willow Brook Mall is lain out like a cross. The food court had many many options to satisfy almost anyone hungry. There was a pizza parlor, hot dog shop, Asian food, Cinnabon, Cuban Pete's, Wendy's and even a Blaze Pizza (which my 1000's of reviews recommend). Top notch mall. They need to do something about that place that sells inscents on the cart on the 1st floor. You can smell it on the whole hallway and I avoid this area because of it. I hear people say that it stinks constantly. Can't be good for business around this place. Mall is on the smaller side but has decent shopping places. Has restaurants and other entertainment that is not connected from the inside which is a huge minus, specially during inclement weather. read more

I like this mall a hell of a lot better than Short Hills. I popped over to get a new iPad at Apple Store. Don't have to worry about getting car jacked in the lot here; plenty of regular patrols by Wayne PD. I am a fan. read more

Absolutely awful. Mall has weird odor, Dogs are allowed inside and the owners DO NOT clean up after them, have to dodge poop, urine and everything else. Also this Mall has a serious Rat and roach problem. When you report to Mall management they try and gaslight you into thinking you didn't see anything, There are traps lined throughout the back hallways, as well as poison boxes, corner to corner. Food Court is always dirty, There are roaches throughout. Wild teens are weekends making excessive noise while they run through the mall like its a playground. Homeless people are outside as well as in, will sneakily beg for money as they pass by you. Parking lot has terrible potholes, and parking lot is unsafe. Security guards are either too old or too young and don't help when you need assistance. Also they skimp on heat in the winter and air conditioner in the summer. That Mall needs to be thoroughly investigated. read more

As far as malls go, it's nice. I have fond memories of this mall from when I was young. They had the biggest arcade I'd ever seen. Other malls had arcades but they were tiny compared to Willowbrook, and if you went down to the shore there were games for sure, but this was a real, bonafide arcade with arcade games, I'm not just talking pinball and ticket spitters like at Chuck E. Cheese. I'm talking Mortal Kombat, Time Crisis, X-Men, Moto GP, and tons more that defined part of the 90's for me. ::Breathe:: Ok enough of the nostalgia, but really they had this giant Arcade here and when you walked out of it, there was a giant mall to walk through and eat at, that still remains this way today though sadly Arcades died in the 90's. 2 floors of various stores that even when crowded isn't as messy to me as Jersey Gardens. Since most malls are similar to me, what I'll grade it on is what is available - It has both a Microsoft and Apple store, a good mixture of clothing stores, flagship stores and above average food court as far as choices ago if you aren't too picky. I'm the advert screens are a bit annoying as I'm used to these being a map of the mall and not a scrolling ad that goes from women's make up to some local business that wants you to come endorse them after spending money at the mall. There is plenty of parking here, and I like that there are many surrounding stores outside the mall, but could somewhat be considered part of the mall since they're pretty much within walking distance. One issue I have is that the bathrooms are sort of in the middle of the mall. Why not one on each side? I've seen other malls that filter us customers to one part too so it isn't exclusive here but it's still annoying and I'm sure there is a hidden reason why they do this. Anyway, it's a decent enough mall that brings nostalgic feelings, and even more so when my mom comes with me as she remembers when it was first built back in 1969. read more

A large two story mall with a very messy parking lot, often full with folks and one of the complaints I had here was walking towards the entry, and coming in via two different exits in the same day, there wasn't actually a store directory within the first hallway of each of the entrances, this made it relatively difficult to actually find where I was going. I would have thought they might have planned a little better than that. That just has a smattering of all the regular big box stores and a few custom ones as well as many of the minor kiosks. Fairly large and surrounding zones include instructions on staffer parking for red zones and watch for people driving as they often round the corners too fast. read more

I really love the Reese's peanut butter cheesecake!!! If you have room at the end of the meal, it's the perfect dessert! I also really enjoy the salmon. I adore this mall! That being said, I'm not a fan of Garden State Plaza. It's too busy and Willowbrook is just big enough to not be too crowded. Of course during the holidays there's a rush but it's not bad on a normal day. It's got all the stores you want and tons of restaurants to choose from. My favorite being The Cheesecake Factory - yummm! The food court is spacious and has lots of seating. Great new additions too. They have an Apple store, that's usually my go to because it's not insanely crowded like other malls. Overall, get here on a weekday and you'll find everything you need. Easy parking too, I never have trouble finding a spot close by. There's lots of great new additions, Garage and Lush are now here. Lolli and Pops is a fun place to venture into as well, can't go wrong with a candy store. Definitely one of my favorite malls. read more

Your typical indoor mall with a food court and popular stores for everyone like Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Lord and Taylor, forever 21, h&m, Zara, bath and body works, Uniqlo, Sears, lush, Hollister, Abercrombie, Adidas, Claire's... And food like Charley's cheese steaks, master wok, Dunkin, Starbucks, Popeyes, wetzels pretzels, cinnabon... There needs to be more bathrooms at the mall unless I just don't know where they are and keep going back to the one by Lord and Taylor even though I'm Al the way on the other wing of the mall or upstairs. Besides the stores, it's very spacious with lots of seating and natural light from the ceilings. Also down the parking lot, there's Costco wholesale, dicks sporting goods and five below. Overall a great place to spend the afternoon with great options to satisfy everyone. read more

PLEASE eliminate the stand that pumps out all of that incense!!! People should not be forced to smell that throughout the mall - it is overwhelming and terrible! This mall is actually one of the nicer malls left that I've seen. It has an extensive food court (and the Chinese food places are always giving free samples. Try their chicken OMG.) The food court is pretty dirty though, at least the tables are. It seems like it doesn't get cleaned until the end of the day. The mall is kind of confusing to navigate. I've been there quite a few times already and I still can't figure my way around, but I suppose there's nothing to be done about that. You'll find all your essential name brands like Sephora, the Apple store, McDonald's. It gets packed on the weekends so try avoiding this place during that time. It's usually pretty busy whenever you go but at least on the weekdays, you can still find parking. read more

Many years ago, Willowbrook was the first and only in-door mall in our area. It was a destination shopping experience and set a standard for others to follow. Sadly, a couple of their anchor stores are in serious financial trouble so the overall atmosphere is not as vibrant as I remember from my youth. I went here looking for Sur la Table since they advertise having a Nespresso boutique (I like and drink their coffee). To my great disappointment, the Sur la Table store was an empty shell, having just closed. Peeking in the windows I saw that they sold the insides down to the shelves. Wow! And that's the point I'm trying to get across - this was once a great place but the changes in the marketplace have turned this iconic mall into a shadow of its past greatness. Too bad. The mall is doing really well at keeping everybody social distance each store has their own rules and limitations as to how many people they will allow into their store. Also they are requiring everyone to wear masks and they have hand sanitizers readily available read more

i like this mall, it's a small mall but it does have everything i need. very convenient and easy parking. not overly crowded either!

Meh, its not the worst mall, but i wouldn't classify it as the best either. Kind of standard, it has a weird 2 story design and although it is a cleanly place, just would rather go to other malls instead, like gsp or Menlo. read more
