This is my go-to mall on Sundays since Bergen county malls are closed due to blue law. It pretty much has what you'd expect from a mall: food court, Apple store, and a few other known names. Other than that, the parking and exiting this mall is an issue, but you get used to it over time. read more

One of the biggest and cleanest malls I have been in new jersey. This has all the brand outlets you can think of but my favorite are macy's and lord & taylor as I spent maximum of my time at these two. They have variety of everything, latest collection. Shopping outlets - I tried to visit each of them and found staff in every one of these are very very polite. I shopped at Macy, Ann taylor, Banana republic and Lord & Taylor. Food outlets - This mall has all variety wheather you want snacks, drinks, desserts or want ti sit and have restaurant style meal, this covers all. I have heard CPK here is good. I went to food court and it was all crowded. Blaze pizza catched my eye but the line was huge so I ended up having Bento box from sarku japan. Tables were clean and cleaning staff was very active. Restrooms - I found only one in the lower level next to Lord & taylor. Its a shame if there is only one restroom in such a big mall. There is a Costco near to this mall, which will bring me here again. read more

Located in Wayne, NJ. This is probably one of the better indoor malls at striking distance in Essex county. Definitely a place to go shopping at when you're in the area. It's nice, neat and very orderly, plus it's people have been coming to shop ever since time began. The layout never really changed, the food court is still at the same spot. Except they eliminated the bathroom there for some reason. Anyways,, it doesn't bother me ever. I come here to shop and I enjoy spending money here. I hate this mall... When I first moved back to Jersey after living in Minnesota for a few years, this was the closest mall to where we lived. It wasn't great, but I didn't think it was awful...or so I thought. We moved out to Parsippany about two years later and when I found the Rockaway Mall I realized how dumpy Willowbrook was. Was here today for a very quick stop (I needed coffee), and realized why I hated this place so much. Sundays are a nightmare as you get all of the extra people coming down here since the Paramus Mall is closed. Walking around this mall I NEVER want my daughter leaving my sight because of all the little young hoochies and their testosterone driven punks walking around this place. The store selection here isn't awful, but there's nothing that makes it stand out either. Food court is blah, parking lot can be like a Grand Prix, and most of the people working here seem to want nothing but to be somewhere else. They seem to be trying to make the place better, but I just prefer to shop elsewhere. read more

My favorite mall growing up. Definitely less congested than Garden State & smaller. I feel like i won't get lost in it. My only complaint is that they don't have a Lululemon or more variety in food options at the food court but they do have surrounding restaurants around which is always nice. read more

In full disclosure, I can't stand shopping malls. I can't stand the parking. I can't stand the stores. I can't stand the other shoppers, most of whom aren't even shopping. I can't stand the misleading "sales." I can't stand the people who try and stop you from their kiosks to try and sell you stuff you don't need. I can't stand shopping malls. Get it? If not for the fact that a Yelp event was taking place inside the mall, I would have never been here in the first place. But I was in need of some new clothes and one of the few fine perks of living in Jersey is zero sales tax on clothing. (Tell that to all the sucker NYC tourists who can't wait to get to Fifth Ave.) So, I arrived about an hour early to do some shopping. This mall has all of my basic needs. I don't need high end. I don't need designer. I need Macy's, The Gap, and as it surprisingly turned out, Sears. If you want high end, go to Short Hills, where you'll likely encounter a real housewife. read more

As far as malls in the area go, it's pretty good. The flooring was just redone so it looks clean as of now. The fountain in the middle of the mall is a nice place to sit around and relax a moment. A lot of the stores at the Garden State Plaza or Short Hills are high end and thus not stores I ever by from. Willowbrook has a good variety of middle to higher end. This is a mall for regular people. Even in holiday season, I've never had an issue getting a parking space. Sometimes it's way far away, but I don't have to go up and down a hundred aisles. Personally I prefer to park by Sears as it's a large lot at the end so there's not as much demand in the area. It's also a decent sized mall without being overwhelming, so it is my go-to local mall. read more

It's close, has everything in one place we like. It's always clean inside and I've never had a negative issue here.

We have always enjoyed our visits to this Mall. It reminds us of growing up in the suburbs! The stores are not crazy full of people like in a city. They have plenty of room to walk the isles and mall to shop. Lots of restaurants, a food court, and clean renovated restrooms. We like Sears, Bloomingdales, Macy's, J. Crew, and all of the other stores. We like to enjoy them all in one location. very convenient We get there early and at times go during the week. On weekends by afternoon it is crowded. This a a family oriented Mall and family oriented city. They are all shopping for the holidays right now. This is a great place to see Santa. The NJ transit stop is in the mall parking lot. Buses are every half hour bringing people in from NYC. Very convenient, but costly for transportation. Wayne Park and ride is here in the parking lot also. I'll always have fond memories of our trips to Willowbrook Mall. We may be moving our business to a closer Mall in another NJ City. If so I'll post a review of it on YELP!! read more

As i was shopping with my brother, we were interrupted and falsely accused of running and other boisterous remarks. Me and my brother were just trying to buy my mother and father a great gift for Christmas. They were rude, insincere, and left no room for my brother and I's rebuttal. Not only did this ruin my experience at a wonderful mall but also ruined Christmas as they wouldn't allow us to take our gifts. I will never be going back to this horrible and disfunctional mall. I've been going here for about 25 years. Crowd has changed dramatically. Shops are ok. They come and go. This is probably the only mall where the Bloomingdales is suffering. Hot tip - avoid at all costs on Sat & Sun. Bridgewater Mall is much better. read more

Like other people say, perfect place to take the bus. From here, it's 7.50 one way to the city. They have a bunch of stores, from high end to low end, but nothing really that pops out at me. I wouldn't really go here to shop when I think about it. The foodcourt is pretty big though and they even have salad place and a lot of the places offer a bunch of samples. After eating 5 different types of chicken, they all taste the same. be careful here though, a bunch of people have gotten their shopping bags and purses stolen here. read more

I love Willowbrook Mall! It's just the right size, not too large and overwhelming, but still has all the stores you could possibly need. Lord and Taylor, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Gap, Old Navy...the list goes on. It's a nice mix of higher end stores and "regular" stores. There always seems to be plenty of places to park where you can easily get to the store/section of the mall you want. The food court is nicely sized with plenty of different choices. In addition, there is a Cheesecake Factory and Brio connected. I'm happy to live so close to Willowbrook. In my opinion, it is the superior mall compared to the other malls in the area. read more

Really good mall. I went cause I thought there was a Swatch Store. The lady at Vera Bradley where I purchased some hair ties that match my purse, said they closed Swatch a couple months ago. ( I though, "good, finally something Kansas City also doesn't have.") There is a Cheesecake Factory, a MAC make up store, and a Bloomingdales....and they closed the Swatch store? I enjoyed walking around in the mall, and it's pretty big. I wanted to go to Sephoras, but it must've been on the other side. I will be going back, especially for their park and ride. They seem to have great food choices as well. But other than Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylors, and Vera Bradley, your typical stores, which I like but didn't visit today. read more

Huge mall off of route 46 West. It's usually pretty packed, but the inside is big enough where theres enough space to walk around. The Willowbrook Mall has all the stores you need (jcrew, Abercrombie, adidas, Steve Madden, etc), as well as the big department stores (Lord and Taylor, Macy's, etc). During holiday seasons the stores get pretty messy and packed, so be aware that you'll probably stand in line. The food court has a few options, but not too many. read more

Why do they have a sign on entry ways saying NO FIREARMS. Is it that dangerous? NJ is so regulated as is. Very upsettimg. Another poster has a RULES OF CONDUCT posted? I am shocked and let down but there may be valid concerns making it so. Noice the demographic is not what it used to be, but thats all new jersey. That said everyone seems polite and friendly. I use to spend so much time at this mall growing up. Every weekend, me & my friends would be here, "boy searching" and looking for clothes that we could afford on a minimal allowance. This mall has changed so much throughout the years, and now I am almost frightened to go. Its not the most prestigious mall. It is rather small (compared to Garden State), and is definitely not safe. If you are looking for a mall to spend a Sunday on (when everything else in Bergen County is closed), take the extra time and drive to Palisades Center up in West Nyack. Love that place!! read more

This mall reminds me of the Roosevelt Field Mall out on Long Island (in Westbury). This mall offers all of the major & minor stores you can think of. If my parents don't want to drive far this is the mall we go to. I enjoy this mall because I love how spacious it is & the amount of things I can rack up on for reasonable prices. HOWEVER... The parking is atrocious! It seems as if everyone and their mother is at the mall whenever we decide to go. We always have to park super far in order to find a parking space. read more

This mall has just about every store you could want and they have the greatest sales too. It is a little confusing but it is worthy of trying to figure it out. It is always crowded but again it is worth it. If you are hungry, not only do they have a food court but they have some great upper end chain restaurants like California Pizza Kitchen, Brio and Cheesecake Factory. This mall is too small and outdated looking. Not enough stores and doesn't seem like there's much going on even though it's a Saturday. Very little benches or places to sit. Take a look at Bridgewater Mall, not very big but more modern looking and more variety. This mall needs a movie theater or more fine dining nearby. The other thing is the decor really needs updating, felt like the mall was from the 90s. Compare to Garden State Plaza mall, this mall is not even close in comparison. read more

I have been going here ever since I can remand this mall is a small mall compito others I went to but it is good for the quick trips. I just don't like in Macy's how the perfume people nag and bother you. The bathrooms smell like puke every single time I go in there. Willowbrook mall keeps it clean and it feels great to walk into a new mall every time. With the renovation done last year, it certainly gives the shoppers a better mood, I mean, who wants to shop in a poorly maintained, ghosted mall? It's good to see that are no properties are going out of business or empty. The mall draws a lot of customers after work and on the weekends. On friday nights, parking lots are still full two hours before closing. You can find most of the main, large businesses and department stores. Some of my favorites are Uniqlo, Zara, Pandora, and Disney. For restaurants, they have California Pizza Kitchen, Brio, and The Cheescake Factory, just to list a few. read more

I have such a love-hate relationship with this mall it's not even funny. The Willowbrook mall has the accoutrama of a great shopping mall: It has all the favorite stores that you would expect a shopping mall to have. It has all the major department stores including a couple of the high end department stores. There is a ton of Restaurants options; ranging from quick and cheap like, the food court to nicer restaurants, like The Cheesecake Factory. The thing I absolutely hate about this mall is the fact that everyone in Bergen County flocks here on Sundays because of the strict blue laws. On Sundays this mall becomes so busy it almost seems to be unmanageable. I will not even go on this side of town on Sundays because the traffic from the mall is crazy. This mall is absolutely four stars Monday threw Saturday, but on Sunday it's one star, which is why it averages out to a three. read more

I have been going to Willowbrook since about 2001 and I must say, it has definitely changed dramatically over the years. Recently, within the past 5-8 years the realty company that owns the mall (GGP) has been attempting to make the mall into an, "upper class" shopping center by opening various high end storefronts and putting, "lower class" establishments like the legendary Fun N Games arcade out of business. Although I hate the changes that GGP has made to the mall, I do have many fond memories of Willowbrook both as a child and as a delinquent mall rat circa 2006-2009. Back then, the mall had many awesome storefronts such as the 4 Gamestop stores, Tattoo Nation, Wizards of the Coast (back in the day), Hollywood Video, Native Art, the two FYE stores and of course Fun N' Games. These days when I do find myself at Willowbrook I often see security hassling the hordes of Mall rat kids who crowd the front entrance near the food court, which would not be a concern if mall management had not closed down their main hangout (the arcade). Sadly, Willowbrook is now nothing more than a generic plethora of women's clothing stores, dull kiosks and bland eateries. Everything in the mall that kept me coming back has closed in favor of what an effete realty company deems, "classy". However, due to the fond memories I have of Willowbrook it will always be my favourite mall in New Jersey. read more

My family is divided. By malls. My oldest brother is a Short Hills.. the second one is kind of a Rockaway.. the youngest is a Menlo.. and my mom is most definitely Livingston. And as much as I love Garden State, Willybrook is where it's at. I could spend several paychecks in just one wing here. The way they have things laid out is sort of funny though... Bloomingdale's near an Old Navy across from a Victoria Secret.. Willy's got something for everyone. And because of its crazy layout, someone of a certain style may have to wander the mall for 2 stores they love.. but Iduncare. This just adds shopping to my list of weekly cardio and that's fine with me. The parking situation is somewhat of a nightmare and I'm not gonna lie, I've come an inch away from hitting someone. That and the food court can get carazzyayayzyzy sometimes, but I think there's a good selection.. (gosh darn you Cinnabonnnnnn). My one HUGE pet peeve, is the amount of teens that clog up this place sometimes. Seriously, y'all don't need to march arm in arm and go as slow as molasses in January. Yeah I said it. Plus I'm somewhat bitter towards the teens that used to yell "Chino!" to me while I was walking around the mall. Seriously? If you wanna make fun of me, learn my actual ethnicity.. because like Margaret Cho.. I don't know if you're being racist (if you're not being specific) or just really fashion conscience. I will say, that if you see a guy in the arcade that looks kinda like me and is beating the sh*t out of kids in those racecar games.. it's my brother. He thinks he's the Asian Speed Racer. read more

Are people seriously saying this place isn't safe? No reason to feel anything less than remotely comfortable if you come here when the mall is open. And if it the stores aren't open, then the only thing left is the arcade and Ruby Tuesday's which I help no self-respecting Yelper would ever go to. I've worked closing shifts at this mall and gotten off a NJ Transit bus here at midnight and never felt less than safe. The only times I've felt as though my safety was in danger is walking around the food court on Sundays. Since all the Paramus shopping centers are closed on Sunday, people flock to Willowbrook, and for some reason, it's always a family outing. I can't tell you how many times women with baby carriages have nearly run me over while I've walked past Cinnabon, but it isn't cool. Shouldn't you take your kids to the park? Sundays aside, this mall is alright. It isn't as big as Garden State but I like that better, especially now that GS is larger than ever imaginable. And now that H&M is coming in, I can't think of a store I regularly shop in at GS that Willowbrook lacks. I enjoy the fact that I can walk in, browse a bit, and then leave without feeling overwhelmed or getting lost. Also, the Verizon counter here is top notch compared to the slackers at Garden State. Overall, this mall does not have the top end stores, but everyone knows to go to Short Hills for that. Willowbrook is small and gets the job done. read more

This is a pretty good mall. It has all me and my family's favorite stores. I love the Lord & Taylor and the Bloomingdale's. Heck, my cousin works at this Bloomie's. The Hollister and Abercrombie are both big and have good sales. The Old Navy and Gap stores are HUUUGE! The Food Court is very big. It's the best out of all Malls in NJ. Willowbrook Mall - Lord & Taylor - Shopping Centers Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

Let me start by saying I am not a mall shopper. I try to avoid it all all costs but if I have to go Willowbrook is my mall. Pretty much because it's convenient. They recently redid the ceilings, floors and food court. Looks a lot better now. They also added some new "furniture" for those of us who may want to sit down and ponder about going back into a store and buying that sweater they loved so much. They also have a good selection of restaurants (Ruby Tuesday, Brio, Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen). read more

Definitely not my favorite NJ mall, but it's convenient in a tight spot. I don't enjoy the crowds, which can be overwhelming during the holidays. And I'm not just talking about the normal holiday crowd - the Willowbrook crowd is maddening and unbearable once December 1st comes around. I tend to avoid Willowbrook from Black Friday to mid-January. I like their Bloomingdales & Lord&Taylor locations ... both clean and quiet stores; calm oases compared to the rest of the mall. The J.Crew and Banana Republic stores are also among my favorites, but I don't like getting to them. J.Crew is close to that "spa" area where, if you mistakenly walk through the center, you will be bombarded with offers to scrub your face, nails, or straighten your hair. Banana Republic is nice and big, but weaving through all the people resting (or sleeping) on the nearby benches isn't fun for me. The food court isn't anything special, but I still enjoy it. Decent choices, lots of seating (except, again, during holidays). The NJ Transit Bus is amazingly convenient though. It's the commute-of-choice when you want to go to midtown, without spending an arm and a leg for parking. There's usually a bus leaving every half hour or so, and they're pretty reliable, as far as buses go. read more
