Halloween has arrived at TJ Maxx and there's a plethora of spooky-ooky, cute decorations being sold! I stopped inside this TJ Maxx a few weeks ago while on Rt. 10. This store location is spacious and has a lot of inventory (i.e. good finds!). I also thought the store was well organized and people were friendly (customers and staff working there). It's in a shopping plaza near DSW, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, World Market, etc. with a large parking lot that isn't crowded. read more

Ridiculously long wait time to have someone open a display case. Had to ask multiple staff and waited about 30 minutes before someone begrudgingly came over to assist. read more

Many products have been stolen/used partially (jewelry and charms missing, beauty products and creams have been opened and scooped from). The waits in any check out lines are around 15-25 minutes due to customer volume and understaffing. Pricing is okay for the products if untampered. read more

Empty, empty, empty! I completely understand we are still in the midst of a global pandemic. However the shopping experience is so different. Let's start with the positives. It appears they spaced out the aisles for social distancing. The con is they removed alot of their inventory. Barely anything was in stock. I hope things get better. I'm a fan of their candles lol. I absolutely love coming to this particular TJ Maxx!! It is a little further out from my place, but totally worth the drive. I stumbled upon this location when I needed to return something at Ulta. It is right across the parking lot tucked in the corner next to DSW and Nordstrom Rack... A *hidden* TJ, which gives me reason to believe this is why they keep the place so clean and still have the best selections in stock. Most of my experiences at TJ Maxx are stressful due to the store traffic, scattered aisles, and long lines. Here I can actually breathe while I shop. There's been quite a few times when we scored big: my boyfriend and I were able to pick up snowboarding gear for our trip last February. They had Bolle goggles and helmets for around $20! Just last week I stopped in and browsed the jewelry section. Spotted a Marc Jacobs watch in the clearance section and asked to try it on... $29.99. Bought it on the spot. LOVE TJ Maxx although I must say they are very similar to Marshalls lol. This was my 1st time at this location so since I had time, I figured I would browse around the store. All things considered, this was a very clean store. I didn't see a bunch of clothes hanging off the racks or a lot of things misplaced. What really caught my eye is that they had really great prices on there Shea Moisture products! This product line can be quite expensive so to be able to get them at great prices was a great reason to come back to this store! Additionally, this location had the same departments as other locations such as the housewares, luggage, intimates, women and men's clothing. Overall, I was impressed by the store and I will definitely come back in the future! read more

At this location, there is terrible customer service. I will no longer go to this tjmax location and I will make sure that I will tell everyone around me about how I was disrespected as a customer. It was 2 min passed closing time when I was in the line to purchase my items and they made me leave everything in my cart and didn't let me buy anything. What happened to the customer is always right? This location needs new management ASAP. Very disappointed. read more

This TJ Maxx is like majority of TJ Maxx's: bright, large, and devoted to women's clothing. Some square footage is allocated to men's clothing, kids clothing, shoes, home goods, and beauty. When the store is crowded, the line to check out can be quite lengthy, so be mindful when shopping. read more

The best TJ Maxx I've ever been to. Clean, organized, brand new building, new runway section and conveniently located. No limit to the number of items you can try on in the fitting room. Good lighting in the fitting rooms, clean ladies rooms, cashiers are courteous and efficient. read more

Love this store! I always find some great bargains here. They always have great brands for an awesome deal. My favorite purchase had to be my Kat Von D contour palette. I got it for $19.99, can't be that price in comparison to the original price. read more

I saw a rug that I really liked but noticed it was damaged due to a few center threads being loose. I asked about a discount since it was the last rug of its kind and it was not in a clearance section. The general manager, Kianna, rudely and flat out said "no" to my request and denied that the rug was damaged. She then CUT THE LOOSE THREADS in front of me so the rug could be put back on the floor. Beware of buying things at this store, as it appears that they think altering and further damaging products is admissible so long as they make a buck. Disgusting. read more

I love this after-lunch shopping place. The turn over time in this store is pretty short, so I always stop u every other weeks or so. You will find decent discounted items, like cloth or daily house stuff. I like the small items in the back, normally with 50% off. Staffs here are helpful as well. read more

This is the most unpleasant location. It used to be decent they charge Short Hill prices but keep the store organized like its in the Livingston mall. I guess they may have had a management change in the last year. Rude jewelry associates need some training on how to assist customers. They bundle all items in the most unorganized manner. The checkout line is always a nightmare because the customers include people who are serial exchangers and loiterers. I think this is why shopping online is a better option for most necessities. They pride themselves on lower prices but it is more a marketing scheme to fool very uninformed shoppers. I cant believe I bought some worth it merch few years ago it cannot be the same shop. I'm not built to handle this so thanks for the past and Im on to the next. Also markdowns are a joke here. Plus the merchandise looks off as their liberal return policy is abused by the types here. Beware of Kiara store manager! I went to TJ Maxx in Livingston last Saturday. It was late in the day and not at all crowded. I found a throw that was damaged with a noticeable hole and pull. There was no price on the item. The cashier asked a young man for the pricing, and when he returned he clearly said it was $16. I very politely asked the cashier what she could do as the item was damaged, and there wasn't another like it. That's when the wrath of their store manager Kiara came into play. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by any employee anywhere as I was by her. She was 5 feet from me and refused to speak to me! Instead, she told the cashier what she needed to say to me. She angrily said she'd give me almost 25% off. Apparently she has no math skills, because in actuality it was $1.50 off. of $16.99, not the $16.00 the young man had priced it at. When I questioned her about this she said she never said anything about 25%. My daughter was with me and heard her refer to the 25% as well. Kiara is an angry and inept manager. I hope TJ Maxx reads this and takes immediate action. There is no excuse for rude and inept behavior, especially by someone who's managing staff and required to be a role model! I saw another similar yelp review, so apparently this is not an isolated experience. read more

5 stars for the plethora of clearance items always on sale at this store, the selection of "the runway" (fashionable pieces) at this location, and also how many 'normal' things they have as well. the store is pretty large, and not messy. spacious parking lot. definitely one of the better TJmaxx's in the area! read more

Has a nice selection, decent handbags,dinky shoe dept. Nice enough staff and the store is CLEAN! I always find something! Its also next to a DSW shoe and Nordstron Rack so you have 3 good places to hit. Good jewelry dept! I have found Judith jack silver/gem jewelry for at least 50% off retail there. Not all TJ Maxx stores are created equal. I have never been a huge fan of these types of stores, mainly because one needs a certain amount of time to hunt for the good stuff. Came here the day before Christmas to pick up some last minute stocking stuffer-type things for my niece, among a few other things. Brought my two kids with me. I will just say that, for what I was willing to spend on those stocking stuffers, I wound up buying actual gifts for my niece. For example, a toy that currently sells in Barnes and Noble for over $22.00, set me back all of $8.00! I couldn't get enough of that place! My kids wanted to leave, but it was tempting not to check the entire store out prior to leaving. This particular store has a "Runway" section, which means that they carry some fairly high-end designer clothing for a fraction of the retail price. Since it was the day before Christmas, stuff was all over the place, and even those higher-end pieces needed to be inspected, as they had been very much picked over. I have a TJ Maxx store much closer to where I live, and I have always thought of it as a glorified Marshall's. I think that many are. However, this particular location is in a league of its own. Went to the Marshall's on route 10 right afterward, and I realized that you just can't compare the two places. Marshall's was such a disappointment, in comparison.
