Alice is truly an exceptional masseuse and human being. She makes you feel valued as not only a client, but as a person from the moment you walk in. She's also highly knowledgeable of the human body and anatomy and informs you about what muscles she's working on. Alice isn't just a regular masseuse - it's more like working with a doctor to address the underlying issues of why your body and back feels the way it does. She's also hilarious and has a warm personality that makes you want to stay and chat. She asks what you want her to work on and is very respectful if something is too much pressure or stretch. The massage itself is so relaxing and heavenly. I couldn't recommend her enough read more

As a weekly client, I rely on Alice for steady relief and overall well-being. If you need someone who truly listens to what your body needs and then delivers, she's the one. Her deep knowledge of the body means she's uniquely able to locate your trouble spots and heal them. To top it off, Alice is warm, kind, and genuinely caring. I always leave her studio feeling markedly better, physically and emotionally. My sessions with her have become therapy for both my body and my mind. read more

I attempted to book a session and was offered no solution. I followed up asking about other openings and, once again, no solution was provided. If you're in need of a laugh, this is worth a read. Her reasoning is so detached from logic it's actually impressive. Awesome display of incompetence masquerading as reasoning. read more

Amazing Massage Fingers - Lovely conversation. - Massage Therapy Near Me - Burbank, California

Above and beyond communication!!! I was in town during the Thanksgiving week and wanted to try this out after a procedure. Alice was out of town and yet still reached out to let me know. Safe travels and thanks again read more

I have a lot of chronic aches and pains in my back and neck so over the years I've been to quite a few massage places. The issue is that no matter what I usually go in for; a typical place will have a routine they follow. I can go in for neck pain and the person will start working on my legs. Not the case with Alice. She actually takes the time to listen and care about what's bothering you and tailors the session to best help. In all my time talking to her it's clear to me that she doesn't just treat this as a job. She has a big heart and deeply cares about people in general. She's also wonderful to talk to and a real breath of fresh air. It's nice to just be around such positive caring energy. Especially nowadays. read more

When I came to Alice I could barely move my right arm. I had something known as "frozen shoulder" and I was in serious pain. Alice identified the issue immediately and worked wonders. After several sessions my shoulder is now back to 100%. I would highly recommend Alice to anyone in need. She is explains what she is doing and the intent behind it. She is funny and keeps the sessions light. Most importantly she gets results. read more

Alice's massage therapy is in a league of its own--her style blends the precision of a Physical Therapist with the comfort of a true professional. As someone who often overdoes it on the weekends, I've been seeing Alice for years, and she's been nothing short of a lifesaver. She has an incredible ability to identify exactly what's going on with my muscles and offers practical advice to keep me moving and feeling my best. Alice is not just talented but also warm, personable, and genuinely invested in her clients' well-being. I always leave feeling refreshed and better educated about my body. She's absolutely the best! read more

Long overdue review for Alice. Her work is such a life-saver. After seeing her for a few years off and on, I recently started regular appointments and I couldn't be happier. I always set up the next one after I leave. I always leave feeling physically and mentally refreshed after a session. She's helped me with back, quad, hip, and neck pain. Alice is the best! 6 stars if I could! read more

I started my sessions with Alice about 3 weeks ago after liposuction surgery for MLD, and WOW! I am super amazed with the results. My Dr. provided one free synergie session after my liposuction and Alice is way better than that darn machine. I have a few more treatments and Alice is helpful in guiding me through the recovery process, it's nice to be informed if you don't need to overspend too (Thank you Alice for saving me some $$$). Alice provides a guidance that a machine just can't give you and her expertise is super valuable. I highly recommend her :) read more

I love Alice. I've tried soo many massage places. I've tried the cheaper ones and the expensive ones and i feel like they give me relief for a bit but Alice is soo knowledgeable able the body and why things hurt or what we can do on the daily to improve. She really listens to what you want to get out of the session and is honest about what is possible and what you need to do to maintain a healthy body. Highly highly recommend. I will be back!! Her office is super clean and nice too. read more

Alice knows her craft. I went in with horrible upper back and neck pain that wouldn't go away, even after seeing my chiropractor a few times. I could barely bend my head down, and it was painful just to sit up straight. After a couple hour-long therapy sessions with Alice, my pain is gone and I have full mobility. She knew precisely which muscles were the issue and skillfully worked them. A few days after the first session, the pain subsided and then a few days after the second session, the pain was gone. She also suggested a few stretches that I've added to my daily routine, which has helped keep the pain away. I'm so grateful I found her and will be coming back if I ever have muscle pain again. I highly recommend her. read more

My sister highly recommended Alice and she was not wrong. This isn't your typical average massage. Alice listens to what is currently bothering you and then spends the session targeting that issue. Simply the best. I've now had two separate sessions. One was targeting low back pain at the time and the most recent was tension in the shoulders from a lot of work stress at the desk. Both times I left feeling wonderful. You know immediately once she begins. She has the touch read more

Very knowledgeable and skilled. Came in for neck issues and she helped a lot. I also learned a bit more about how muscles play a part in various pains I have etc. Would definitely recommend. read more

Alice is just a delight. Smart, funny, kind and straightforward. And within one session she greatly improved my lymphatic situation. I'll be Back asap! Wonderful. Thank you!'n read more

Dear yelp, please create a 6th bonus star. If I could give Alice 6 stars I would. I had a massage with her 11 hours ago and I am still amazed. My story short: I've been a bartender for many years (back and knee problems). Degenerative disk disease and arthritis are in my genes (thanks Mom). I was in an accident 4 yrs ago where I was dead stopped and someone hit me from behind at 35/40 mph. So.. I'm a hot mess. I went back to bartending recently and my back is very angry. I was in so much pain, I was desperate for a real massage, a nearly medical, therapeutic treatment, not a mediocre candlelit Swedish massage. I found this yelp page and was encouraged by all the great reviews. I texted Alice last night, she got back to me within 15 min. She luckily had a spot available this morning. I got really lucky. I immediately loved her. She's warm and funny and super down to earth and direct. Before she even touched me she said: "yep, I can already see your right shoulder is higher than your left, out of whack". Her knowledge of the body and muscular-skeletal workings is so thorough, I'm blown away. She explained every single thing she was doing and why. I understand my pain now. I literally felt like I had gone to a specialist MD. When I stood up and walked around I felt amazing. I felt taller, lighter a little dizzy even. I was giddy. I walked to my car and couldn't believe I felt no pain. I didn't remember what it felt like to NOT be in pain. It's a constant. To not be completely balled up in tightness and pain was euphoric. I said "I'm still aware of my bones but it doesn't feel like they and my muscles are holding each other hostage anymore!" I'm not fixed by any means. Chronic pain often takes years to develop and it will take a lot of work to ease or get rid of it completely. What Alice has done is give me hope and proof that it can be treated. I will go to her as often as I can afford to and listen to her guidance. read more

The best massage session I've ever had. Period. Jeremy literally changed my life in ONE visit. I'd had TMJ and been seeing a chiropractor for 7 months to help with my severe jaw pain caused from stress and invisalign. This included lock jaw, clicking and I was unable to open my mouth fully for MONTHS. Or eat anything wonderfully chewy like pizza crust. After one session with Jeremy I could fully open my mouth and it has stayed that ever since. Even if I eat really chewy food. He is incredibly knowledgable about the human body's muscular and skeletal structures. Instead of just laying there and getting "rubbed," he has you use resistance against him to help your muscles and movements return to their correct positions. It's an active massage that leaves you feeling about 500x better than when you walked in. I've been seeing Jeremy for the last few months and my body feels different in the best way possible. My posture is better, my bunions are straightening out and most importantly my TMJ and lockjaw are gone. If you want, he'll send you home with stretches/instructions to help between sessions. I would HIGHLY recommend him. I don't bother to see anyone else anymore because it's not worth it, nothing is as effective or immediate as one session with Jeremy. read more

Two Reviews In One: James: myofascial massage. 5 stars Very different from deep tissue, but exactly what I needed. Muscles that have been tight for so long they'd forgotten what normal is. Stress releases in places I hadn't realized I was holding stress. James is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, but communicate well because myofascial requires you to relax. I have discovered that fully relaxing takes a lot of my concentration. tmi, but this may be true for others. I recommend at least three visits to fully appreciate this type of massage. You may get hooked though, fair warning. Alice: deep tissue massage. 5 stars Wow. Sigh. Heavy sigh. Wow! I need special attention on some traumatized muscles. Alice took a few minutes to find out about what I wanted and where my problem spots were. I experienced relief after one visit. I could go on and on, but please visit her website, she says it so much better! She charges more than what I am used to paying, but let me tell ya... soooo worth it! There are some price break options available that I plan on taking advantage of, so thankful for that as well. Office is located in what was once garden apartments, off of Olive Ave., again, look at the website. Watch for parking restrictions on the side streets - but generally lots of street parking available. read more

Hands down the best massage I have ever received. I've been dealing with chronic shoulder, neck, back pains and I've never had anyone so accurately tackle all the trouble areas the way Alice had. Her knowledge of anatomy and the musculoskeletal system is astounding. She is very attentive and listens to your needs, but is also very talented at discovering tense muscles that you never even knew existed. It's some grade A black magic fuckery. I am over the moon about finding this place. Will definitely be going back! read more

This is a very long overdue review for Alice! I have a chronic neck issue and have been getting regular massages for years. I needed a change in therapist and found Alice here. I knew almost immediately it was going to be exactly what I needed. She is an expert on the physiology of the body and how it all works together. She took the time to learn about my issues and showed me on the massive skeletal poster on the wall how everything tied together. I left feeling amazing and was prepared to wake up the next day sore like I had with past therapists. But...nope! No pain! I have been back every 3 weeks like clockwork and have noticed a huge decrease in pain flair ups! Now, my husband, 2 kids and friends go to her! I give my nearest and dearest gift certificates to go see her! She is truly the best! Warning: be careful what you tell her because that woman has a memory like a freakin' steel trap! read more

Alice really does have amazing massage fingers and I don't know what I would do without her. Don't go here if you just want a relaxing massage. See her if you have pain or need to get stuff figured out. She has so much knowledge and I promise that she can help. read more

Alice is the best! Credit goes to my husband for finding Alice. My husband highly recommended her and I gave it a try and am so glad I did. Her massages are the best, her facilities are immaculately clean and parking is ample. If you're looking for a thorough & relaxing massage, you must give her a try, Alice is simply amazing! You can tell she actually cares about her clients and is never pushy with anything. There are certain massage therapists you'll visit who can immediately spot your pain and problem points simply by touch; Alice knows what she's doing. She listens to you and addresses your problem areas thoroughly. I'm so sad we moved away, but definitely will schedule appointments with Alice when I'm back in LA. read more

I look forward to seeing Alice every time she definitely has amazing massage fingers! I started going with her after having cosmetic surgery I was only 4 days post op and she made so much of the swelling go down! See you tomorrow Alice read more

Are you looking for a relaxing spa massage, or a massage where the therapist works on your body like clockwork, each body part relegated a certain number of minutes to get through the hour? or where "deep tissue" means jamming an elbow in and around everywhere to make you feel like you get your money's worth? Well Alice is not for you then. If your body actually HURTS either from an injury or just age, and you want a massage therapist who really understands the body and knows that tightness or pain in one spot may be caused from an issue from somewhere else entirely; or knows when causing pain is necessary and helpful, versus making something worse; who treats you more as a patient than just a "massage client", THEN you are in the right place. I am a fan of massages and (pre-covid) used to get them regularly - spa massages, girls day out massages, and sports injury and therapeutic massages. I am a big fan of "no pain, no gain" but THE MOST important thing in a massage is someone who has "smart fingers." Someone who doesn't just pound away at a knot with an elbow and be done with it. Someone who doesn't just squish your muscles where you tell them it hurts. The difference between that and someone who knows how the body works and deeply understands what they are doing in order to help you is worth every penny and the wait. Alice's personality may not be for everyone. I think she's a hoot, you may not, but who cares if she actually fixes you? She books up far in advance, and with good reason. read more

Alice is FANTASTIC. A simple lymphatic drainage with her improved my allergies and sinus issues dramatically after months of struggle. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

Amazing massage fingers and Amazing massage person!!! Alice is just amazing!!! I bought a package of 10 sessions for lymphatic massage and I am very happy with the results I was looking for. She's very professional and has lots of experience. She makes you feel very comfortable and she's by far the best masseuse I've ever had. I will most definitely see her for any other massages in the future. read more

Rude. Texted for an appointment, just said booked. Not going to bother. I do not recommend.

Forget the cheap, generic Thai massage and the meaningless tease of the chiropractic "freebie." Put your money where Alice's fingers are. Alice spotted my pain points as soon as I walked in the door. My shoulders and neck were seized with tension, and she knew just what to do. With her strong - okay, amazing! - fingers and anatomical knowledge, she went after the causes of my distress. It's not a quiet massage, but she's darn funny as well as chatty, and laughing helped my muscles release even more. After an hour, I felt pounds lighter and inches taller, refreshed and relaxed. Scheduling was straightforward, the office is clean and comfortable, and she uses wonderful aromatic oils. I will definitely be back. read more

called and texted multiple times because I purchased a package for 6 massages from them and I never heard back. What a waste of money.

I started working with Alice about 3 weeks ago after liposuction surgery for MLD. When I went to her I was broken. I could hardly walk. My skin felt like it was reattaching 2x too small. Within one 30-minute session, Alice had me walking normally again. Within four sessions no one could even tell I recently had surgery. I fooled everyone at my husband's birthday party 2 weeks after surgery. My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner. She extremely accommodating with scheduling. Alice is also simply fun and interesting to be around. I don't think I've ever laughed so much during a massage. Thanks Alice! read more

Alice is very unprofessional. I recommend you look elsewhere for a massage and dont waste your time playing email tag trying to set up an appointment for 3+ days.. crazy expensive prices too... must be one of of those special places. read more

Had a great Massage with Alice! I hadn't had one in quite sometime. It was just nice to have such care and attention to my problem areas. She's a true professional. Alice's massage was exceptional. Before laying on the table, she took time learn about me and the physical issues that brought me to her office. She demonstrated an impressive command of anatomy and physiology as she discussed my patterns of tension. And while initial conversation was helpful and appreciated, the following massage was divine. I feel grateful to have received such excellent care and attention today- thank you Alice! read more

Alice Marie is a fantastic masseuse and a wonderful human being. Even before scheduling my first appointment, she went above and beyond by answering all my questions about lymphatic drainage massage via text. She assured me that my body was healing normally (when it looked and felt CRAZY after surgery). Her office is comfortable and scheduling appointments is easy. She also makes great conversation, if you're into that sort of thing! Would recommend many times over. read more

Alice will blow your mind when you realize what an actual massage should be like and that you've been wasting your money on crap massages all these years! Not only are her fingers AMAZING they are better-than-Disney-MAGICAL! She can tell you every muscle she's massaging (if you ask and wanna know cause you're a nerd like me), is gentle but will get all your kinks out. I initially balked at the price since I don't always have a stable income (btw get the Yelp Deal for your first visit!) but Alice is not only worth every penny, but she should be periodically showered with gold and gems for all she does! read more

Alice and Cynthia rocked this 5 star rating! After traveling 1,000 miles by car, both my sister and I were in bad shape and on vacation here in Los Angeles. I called Alice desperate and she got my sister in to see Cynthia and ended up both working on her to help reset us for vacation. My sister came away a new woman, seriously. They were so good my sister booked another massage two days later and I did as well. They were very accommodating to our NEED to be seen and we connected so well that it really added to our vacation despite being in pain from the long car ride. These ladies have seriously powerful healing energy and cared for us generously with their hands and encouragements. Cynthia's MFR massage was great and I loved how she went with what she could tell my body needed and switched it up a few times. We are so grateful to have found these two healers on our vacation. read more

Best massage around. Alice is extremely skilled in the anatomy of the body and muscles, which enables her to put me back together just when I need it! She has been doing lymphatic drainage treatments on me weekly using a relaxing jade roller, which has completely rid my neck of what I thought was a tumor, as well as cleared up my skin. The "tumor" was gone after only 1 session! I highly recommend Alice and her amazing massage fingers. read more

Suffering from a tailbone fracture last year, as well as being an active capoeirista, I have sought out countless massage therapists, chiropractors, and other body-feel-good doers. Alice is a gem shining amidst this pile of others. I was blessed to be referred to her, and have since referred a handful of friends, one of whom is a regular client, too. Alice's deep passion for anatomy combined with her gentle approach to getting deep into your muscles, makes for a massage that truly works you out. I have experienced deep relief from her treatments and enjoy her presence, too! She is open-minded, open-hearted, extremely knowledgeable, and very strong - an addicting combination. read more

My neck locked up on me recently and I decided to seek out a massage that could put me right again. I found Amazing Massage Fingers and the reviews told me the story I was looking for. Alice is incredible. As soon as I walked in she told me where I was hurting from looking at me. She guided me through the problem areas anatomically and got to work. She takes a holistic approach to the body and was able to work one muscle after the other to address my issues. She's focused on healing and did not rush through the process. I highly recommend Alice. Especially if you're looking for restoration. This was not a sleep inducing massage, but I understand she offers that as well and if the massage I had was indicative, then I trust that a relaxing massage would be just as focused. read more
