What an amazing experience! Got my girlfriend and I a couples massage for our anniversary! All we have is good things to say about this place.
Granted, we don't get massages often (this was only my 2nd one ever!). But I wanted to treat my girlfriend to something other than the usual dinner and movie combo. From the moment I called, Phil was extremely kind and accommodating to my requests. I set us up for a 90 minute couples massage, I got the Swedish massage and she got the deep tissue.
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Phil, who was just as nice in person as over the phone. While the inside reception area is small, we weren't there long enough for it to impact our time there. It's not an issue really, but I could see the reception room being very tight if you have multiple people entering and exiting simultaneously. We filled out a card asking us what parts of the body we wanted the massage therapists to work on. Once we were inside, we saw another couple emerge from the massaging room, they looked extremely relaxed and must have had a wonderful massage.
After getting our slippers on and checking in, Nina and Nita called us to the back and led us to our room. Room ambience is big for me when it comes to getting a massage. If you can't instantly walk into a room and begin to get relaxed, you'll probably spend massage time getting relaxed as opposed to already being relaxed before the massage. The rooms were dimly lit, had relaxing music, and were extremely clean. When we got massages in Hawaii, it was completely different. We walked into a room that was in an apartment complex and got a massage in what felt like someone's apartment. I felt like it took me a lot of extra time to relax and enjoy the massage merely for not being completely comfortable. This was the complete opposite of that experience.
Within a few minutes we were all tucked in face down and ready for our massages. We were relaxed before they even came into the room. Once the massages started I noticed they were working on all parts of our body, including the parts we didn't circle on our sheet. I particularly liked how my scalp was massaged, as well as my arms, legs, hands, and feet. Felt amazing! When my back was worked on, it was an amazing experience. Medium to light pressure the entire time. If you're looking for a harder massage, I'd look into the deep tissue massage. If you want something light, relaxing, and gentle, go for the Swedish massage.
As they always do, the 90 minute massage went by very fast because of how relaxed we were. Once we sat up, we felt like we had been somewhere else for the last 90 minutes. Looking at the clock afterwards, they definitely massaged us for a little longer than 90 minutes. After all, nobody wants to get short changed on massage time, which could always happen!
After the massage when we emerged from darkness, Phil immediately asked us how it was! They also had cute thank you cards, water, and candies waiting for us at the reception area. I forgot to mention, you actually pay for the massage up front at this place. Then once completed, you can add tip for the therapist(s) onto the bill.
So at the end of the day two 90 minute massages with tip out the door was $250! We tipped our therapists $30 a piece, so before tip our massages only ran $190! At like $1 a minute, that's not a bad price at all!
Overall, we would easily recommend and support this place and business. We had an amazing time and came out of there feeling great! Now we find ourselves looking for an excuse to go back! Thanks for an amazing time! Looking forward to the next time! read more
