I have been to so many massage places and have had great luck for very little money, so I'm not trying to judge this place based on its appearance or anything. A lot of hole in the wall places don't take advantage like this. The prices listed on their website are about $20+ off from what they charge in person. They upsell things like "oil" which is just a basic part of a massage. I also asked for a massage that involved foot reflexology, which I thought I'd be getting with the combo massage. I'd say she basically touched my toes and that was it haha. I get it, feet are gross, I was just misinformed about what this massage was and there's no one there who speaks English well enough to explain to me (again, that's something I do *not* want to judge - it just made it so hard to understand what I was paying for! *sad face*). I tried to ask if there would be the foot bath that is usually part of that, etc., but no one was able to answer so I just went in and hoped for the best. I felt about halfway through the massage the masseuse just kindof...stopped massaging? Like she was just patting me. Especially the foot "reflexology" part, like I said, she just touched my toes. I know that many places have a policy where you have to speak up within 15 mins that you don't like the service or they won't refund you. I feel like we passed that and then she stopped actually massaging me, and I can't now get a refund because she made it through that basic time period where I would have had the option to stop and speak up. Also, I know this is not entirely their fault, but the couple next to me getting massaged was making a lot of noises during the massage, and it was kindof strange. I wish they had told the man to maybe keep it down for the sake of other customers. Many places have "quiet" signs. Then that couple had a very loud conversation when they were done about tipping etc., and again, I just wish they had told them politely to carry their conversation on outside for the sake of customers. But it sounded like that couple had a great massage lol, so maybe it really just depends on the person. Despite that, I do feel that the prices are not transparent and I was upsold on basic things like... "oil." I have been texting them today because I called and the woman who answered spoke no English. They are telling me that the extra fees I got charged were for my tip. I tipped in cash! I already told them that and they keep insisting that it was for a tip. I would have been fine paying the amount they charged if it was listed clearly on signs and on their website. read more

This is terrible I drove here for a massage and only had $10 to tip today. I have tipped $20 on a $50 service in the past, so I've always shown appreciation. This time, I was told I couldn't get a 90 minute massage because my tip wasn't enough. I was ignored and turned away. The massage may be good, but this felt unprofessional and unethical. Omg we love this place ! I took my wife here on Monday for her birthday and it was one of the best massages we've had in years! It was so amazing we booked another massage for Thursday. We did the 60 min acupressure foot massage. Now my body feels incomplete with half feeling relaxed and amazing! I can't wait to get the rest of my body done this week. I have lower back pain from an injury so I'm hoping the acupressure helps with some pain relief. Anyone complaining about the tipping system. They have become a little more "scammy". Mid massage they asked if we wanted a different massage oil and we casually said sure. Well they did not mention $10 up charge for a small bit of "icy-hot" medicine cream added to a part of the back massage. $20 total for 2 people. They should ask at the beginning of the massage at the counter and explain that will be added and if you want the product. Additionally, there have been times when the man at the front wants $20 gratuity instead of $15 for a $65 massage. Took a gamble based on reviews and proximity, turned up without a booking and this place absolutely blew me away. $66 for 90 mins of the most heavenly massage. Usually I like a hard massage but the technique and hitting of the right pressure points had me totally blissed out. Heated massage tables, only curtains between rooms so you could hear any conversations other customers were having a little too clearly. The place seemed clean. Amazing hidden gem! We went here after spending the day at universal studios. They are very courteous and respectful to their clients. Bottled water is provided at the end of your massage. My husband and I went for foot massages. Since it was our first time, we asked for the 30 min Foot Reflexology, which included a hot detox foot bath, feet scrub, hot stone, and hot towel ($25). Our foot massages were great! Each therapist was attentive and professional. Our feet and legs feel so much looser now and the circulation better. This is the second massage I've had here, the first was good. So I returned. I just left after having an awful Massage by Nana 'I was told her name.' on Sept 30-2023 First she applying pressure randomly throughout the back of my body over the sheet, then after lowering the sheet, she used her forearms throughout the whole back massage, or using her elbow into my back, at the end I had to ask her, please I'd like & wanted the traditional oil massage, not pressure points, and flowing massage, not with forearm the whole time. She then was applying cold oil/cream directly to my skin, not even warming it up in her palms, before applying. I should've just got up halfway through & left but I was so exhausted & hoped once I turned over she would've changed the method of massage. ‍ I told the owner when paying, that I will not be tipping & why, plus they need to inform her that the message type that I had booked was not perform & is not done with forearm only, plus she should warm the oil in the palm before apply directly to the skin. Whether or not, they will is their choice but I will not be returning. The two stars is for the first time, of my visit. read more

I always wonder what to tip but they say 20% or more. The massage felt rushed so probably a 60 or 90-minute massage next time. Had a great first time massage from Yuki. I always ask for very light massage in these places where a lot of elbows are used and it worked out perfect. Yuki was very good and it wasn't all elbows. The massage was great. Nonetheless I did not appreciate being forced to give a larger tip. I only had $10. Instead of accepting the tip I was forced to break a change and give more. A tip is gratuity out of the kindness of once heart. It should not be forced. It's like a present you give to someone. You accept the present. You don't just not accept it because it's too small for your liking. The receptionist grabbed my hand and walked me over to the masseuse. I was forced to give more in tip. I am sad to have to give a 2 star rating as I've been getting massages from Tony for several months now that were excellent. Unfortunately, now that they are busy again, he was constantly answering the phone and booking appointments during my massage and actually got up and left in the middle of my massage several times to check people out. When I stated that was not ok , he laughed. When I called to schedule with him again, they told me he wasn't working when I saw him- they gave me to a woman who was way too strong, causing me pain even when I kept telling her to go easy.
