There are cameras in the massage areas. I've been here twice and so I've gotten almost fully naked in front of these cameras twice. They are not disclosed with signage or verbally or anything. When I asked about this after noticing them, I got a weird, frantic spiel about how they are there to "make sure" the workers are "doing a good job," but when I asked who watches them (and saw my nakedness) I was told "no one" watches them... something really weird is up at this place! I kept pressing but just kept being told to book a "private" room next time where I can undress fully. No thank you? I would never call law enforcement on any type of immigrant in these times, but I have to leave a review because I really wish I'd seen the other reviews here with similar warnings. I sort by "newest", maybe some will see this at the top. You cannot legally have undisclosed cameras in areas where people change with a reasonable expectation of privacy. I've been there twice and I definitely enjoy the massages. The first time I went, I had Sisi. A month later, Sisi wasn't there anymore BUT my new therapist was really good as well. I asked about it, and the staff told me it's "just to see how the worker is doing their job," but they never inform customers that they are being recorded. This is extremely concerning because you can be changing or getting a massage without knowing there is a camera on you. Customers should always be told beforehand if they are being filmed, and here they are not. I want to warn others so you know this before deciding to come here. read more

I like that this place is not dark like some other places do you can see that it is clean. I also liked how the massage beds are partitioned. We were a party of 3 and we had our beds in our own space. I was worked on by Rose and she had a good technique and I felt like she was finding the right pressure points and it felt like reflexology should. I found this place 6 or 7 yrs ago and have been coming ever since! I usually get a 90 min combo massage and every time I have been in the services were great. Cindy is always so friendly and nice to me and whoever I bring, which is every person who comes to visit me in LA- she has even met my whole family already! Every massage therapist I've had is skilled. My favorite part is the hot water soak and the hot stones- they feel so good on your back! It isn't an upscale spa, but it is clean and affordable and makes it very easy to come back more often to have them work on your body consistently. The lot is a little small, but there is usually parking somewhere. I also love that it is in a good location and there are a lot of places to eat nearby. Please avoid this place. We discovered cameras recording during the massage sessions, which is extremely concerning and inappropriate. The "therapists" repeatedly asked us to remove our tops and get undressed, which made us very uncomfortable when we noticed that there were cameras afterwards. We also specifically requested soft massages when they asked in the beginning, but instead, the massages were rough and painful. My friends and I left with back pain and a very negative overall experience. On top of all of this, when walking out, they chased us down and said that a $10 tip was too little and we needed to pay more before we left. read more

I have been coming here for several years now, and cannot say enough good things about Studio Best and the owners Cindy and Michael. They work tirelessly to ensure good experiences for everyone. In fact, I'm pretty sure Cindy is a robot because she never rests! From start to end, you will enjoy it - parking in the lot or on the roof, cash or card taken, quiet music playing as the (always) excellent masseuse begins and puts a warm towel over your eyes to help relax, and there is always attention to every detail to help you unwind. The Reflexology is a life saver, the hot stones feel just incredible, and every masseuse I have ever gotten here has been aware of my injuries without me even telling them (broken bones not set). I found this place online and saw the great reviews so after my gym workout I called and Cindy was very welcoming. She told me to come right over. I had my feet, arms and neck done and it was amazing. Tina's hands are magic and she is very skilled and super nice. This place is very clean and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you come through the door. I'm going to go back in a couple of days to get my back done next.
