Well I once gave this restaurant 5 stars as their lunch special and Mongolian beef was excellent. It has been several months since I have stopped in and decided to get some of their Mongolian beef. Sadly, it was a terrible experience and one where I will not go back. I did my normal call in order and they were friendly and the food was ready on time. that was were the good stopped and why they did get 2 stars. The soup was fairly tasteless, where it use to be flavorful. The egg roll was soggy and cold inside (I only live 5 minutes from the restaurant and never had this issue before), the chow mien was just noodles with out any real flavor. The Mongolian beef was spice when you could find it. The amount of beef was definitely smaller than previously, and the won ton was stale and chewy. Yuck!!!! Nice place went down hill and won't be back. Too bad. read more

This place has good chowmein and the chicken black bean sauce with bomb. My girlfriend tried some soup, forgot the name. But she also said it was really good. It had some kind of dried rice that they pour into your hot soup. read more

I LOVE amazing kitchen. It's really hard to find good Chinese in Tracy. Up until Saturday I was losing hope of finding somewhere I loved. Location: strip mall. Easy to find. Ample parking. Ambiance: a good amount of seating although I could see it starting to get busy on a Saturday night. Service: our server was super helpful and had amazing recommendations for us when we asked. Food: We ordered a LOT. -Mu shu pork was by far my favorite dish. I'm all about a clean meat and I never really eat pork but this was delicious and came with 6 wrappers and hoisin sauce. -Potstickers were solid only downside is they were super doughy and they came out later than our food. Bummer but they made for great leftovers. -Wonton soup- sooooo refreshing and a lot of dumplings which is surprising because usually at places there are minimum 4. I love ordering from here, especially on busy week nights. Service is always friendly and upbeat and I love that you can pay by card when they deliver the food to your door. I regularly order their noodle with plum sauce (it's like Korean black bean noodles, jajangmyeon), honey walnut shrimp, crab puffs, sweet and sour chicken/pork/shrimp (sauce on the side) and beef chow fun. Tonight I ordered XO sauce fried rice, honey walnut prawns and hot and spicy eggplant and got to choose a free item from wontons, soup or crab puffs and chose the crab puffs. This is our go to Chinese food! We love the chow mein, green bean chicken, walnut prawns and lemon chicken. This is my toddler's favorite food! Their delivery driver is also so nice and the food always gets to us nice and hot. Good Chinese food at a really good price! I'm not sure if it's because it's our first time or because of the amount of food we ordered, but we qualified for a complimentary item which was cool. We got the crab puffs which were freshly made as was the sauce that came with it. Both the entree and appetizers completed each other good in taste. Went here on Saturday and had one of their lunch specials. I got the fried rice with curry prawns. Came with free egg roll and soup. Shrimp was okay but the rice was old. I cook rice often and can tell the difference between day old rice and fresh rice. This was definitely not fresh. I thought there was going to be tea with service but none was offered. Very generous portions and friendly staff! I tried the Mongolian Beef (+ fried rice and soup) & House Special Chicken (+ chow main and soup) Lunch Specials. Both were delicious and very filling. My son and I both had to take half of our plates to go. The restaurant is very clean and conveniently located off of Tracy Blvd. I visited for lunch at 1pm on a weekday and it was packed. However, 20 mins later we were the only table left. I would suggest taking advantage of the lunch specials between 1:30-3pm if you can. The service was great. Everyone was very attentive and the food came out quickly. Each staff member was helpful and had a smile on their faces. I will absolutely be back! :) read more

First, let's talk about their water... This little red thing was floating in my water and I was kinda upset... One of the waitresses saw me looking at it and told me there's fruit in their water; it was a piece of strawberry! So I gave it a try and I ended up coming home and making a pitcher of fruit water like I had there, it was hella good water! lol. For an appetizer, we ordered the Crab Puffs. They were delicious! I've had plenty of crab puffs in my lifetime, these could have had more crab, but these were still so good!! They were crispy on the outside, garlicky and creamy on the inside! These are a MUST HAVE! Amazing Kitchen not so amazing, more like, Meh.. Kitchen. The orange chicken was so dried out I didn't even know if it was real chicken, it was super chewy. I didn't even want to feed it to my dogs because there was no substantial protein or anything nutritional there whatsoever. Everything else was pretty good I have to say, we had potstickers, chow mein, honey walnut prawns and fried wontons. This place has great food. Definitely holds up to the name "amazing kitchen". Clean, friendly, and a nice awesome spot too. I found it a bit disappointing that family dinners only comes with steam rice instead of fries rice, substitute was going to be a bit pricey. Would be amazing if there is a combi with fried rice and chow mein and other stuff for family dinners. Each item that is order comes on a huge plate with nice portions. They have coke products in cans.. NO FREE REFILLS on drinks. This trip we order: House special Fried rice Honey prawns Magnolion beef House special chow mein Drinks- 4 drinks for two people We were able to have a free appetizer of won tons or crab puff. This entire order was $47... My Boyfriend and I can't wait to come back and try some other items, good thing is we will be more prepared for dinner on the prices of food and drinks. We ordered delivery here and we were so happy they actually delivered to our apartments. Some places, like Mei Mei, wont deliver to our apartments. We ordered: Orange chicken, vegetable fried rice, prawns and broccoli, and white rice. Our order qualified for free crab puffs, so we got those. It was easy to order by phone and they delivered in 30 minutes after we placed our order. The food was so amazing. Everything tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly. The prawns and broccoli were so garlic-y and tasty, especially the sauce they used. The rice was a bit on the mushy side, I usually like my rice, sticky and not as crumbly. My boyfriend loved his orange chicken and the fried rice was perfect. The crab puffs were also super tasty and flavorful. I've never had these before and I was impressed! Now you know that if you have a restaurant that goes by the name of Amazing Kitchen, you need to BRING IT! And of course the question you're asking is - do they? The answer is: YES! Located in the little outdoor mini mall off of N. Tracy Boulevard, in the mall across the street from the corner Taco Bell. You'll find Amazing Kitchen tucked between Johnny's Diner and the Faded Hair Studio. Plenty of parking avail in the private lot. It's an independently operated restaurant that just opened a few months ago. This was our first time dining in; previously we had ordered food to-go and picked up. Upon walking in, it's spacious, bright, and clean. There was a flat screen on the wall playing football, for all you football fans. Cloth-covered tables and cloth napkins. I RECOMMEND: THE FRIED PRAWNS! It's all about the PRAWNS, PRAWNS, PRAWNS, BABY! I am still dreaming about these prawns several days later. They are fried so perfectly, lightly crispy, and the prawns are a good size, not some crappy tiny prawns. If you like seafood, you MUST try the prawns and make your MOUTH HAPPY! I like these so much, I may order a tray of prawns for Christmas and feast off of it like the Queen of the Castle at the royal ball. I MAY NEED AN INTERVENTION because I LOVE these prawns so much! We keep giving this place a chance (3x), and every time we order, there seems to be no improvement is flavor and quality of food. If you order anything that has some sort of brown gravy, it all taste the same, beef broccoli taste the same as chicken with green bean. We ordered Hunan chicken which has a very distinct sweet sticky sauce and green bell pepper flavor, taste like chicken with green been. I am no expert on Chinese cuisine, but when I order 3 different dishes, I expect 3 different flavors. read more

Amazing Kitchen lives up to it's name. So far, we've had carryout twice. They are FAST. The portions are GENEROUS. The service is top-notch. and the food is really good. So far, we have tried the house fried rice, shrimp fried rice, wo wonton soup, Szechuan chicken, and the crab cheese. All have been delish. I'm from the Bay Area and grew up eating Chinese and all Asian food my whole life. I've come here before with my family and it was alright. So, I decided to try this place again because I was craving for some soup and beef chow fun. I ordered for take out, getting beef chow fun, west lake beef soup, and sweet and sour fish. I was reallly excited until I started eating it. Everything tasted really gross. Like the meat was reallly old, sour, and not good. In each meal, it was like that so i'm pretty sure it was the meat they were using. My sister stopped eating after two bites, she wanted to throw up. The same goes for me, we ended up just throwing it away, which was such a waste of money. We spent $40 something on this, I would really think twice about coming here. Also, I've had all of these dishes before throughout my life. Beef chowfun is literally my favorite, so I was really grossed out and disappointed that the Beef chow fun I ordered from here tasted so off. read more

My Husband and I decided to try the new Chinese restaurant in town. Hands down some of the best Chinese food We have had in a long time! We shared the sizzling rice soup which was very good, with plenty of shrimp, big shrimp I might add, and chicken. We elected to get the fried wontons as our free appetizer, I think they were the best we've ever had! My Husband had the shrimp fried rice, once again plenty of big plump shrimp. I had the vegetable egg foo young , just superb! I also had the vegetable fried rice, which came with numerous fresh vegetables, not frozen or canned which was a nice touch. My Husband had the amazing wings, he had a couple but just a little to spicy for him. Overall very good! It was not the best I have ever had but it was good. I liked the rice more than the Chicken dish so next time I will make another selection of a beef dish.
