They constantly mess up my order, the bagels are very small, not giving that crusty, fluffy inside you expect from a New Jersey bagel shop. For now this place is just A-ok... Look during these crazy times, shops like this are definitely struggling to survive. Ordering via Grubhub/DoorDash are keeping them afloat. They have a pretty extensive menu for breakfast/lunch and some tables inside, but of course that's currently not happening. Finding a place for my bagels and local found this place last weekend. A dozen (plus 3 free) will cost $9.99 and definitely come early. They are fresh and go pretty quick on a Sunday. Believe that they have another location in East Brunswick that also does catering along with this one. And yes, they serve breakfast all day long. Down here ( Middlesex County) think this is the starting point in Jersey for is it Taylor Ham/Pork Roll debate. :) I'm now in Pork Roll territory ( formerly Taylor Ham). I am extremely disappointed. I usually love this place and the sandwiches never disappoint. But today I order pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches with extra cheese and pork roll and I got bacon instead and no extra cheese which I was charged for. I called ahead and ordered a turkey club. It wasn't a club it was a sandwich they gave me. The price online was 7.99. I was charged almost 15 w tax. When I called to question this I was told they had "remodeled "the menu and prices changed. And I was HUNG UP on. I called back and it rang forever and someone different answerd. Honestly they cannot even get the simplest order correct. In there almost daily and just about 90% of the time the order is wrong.. how is that possible? I literally get the easiest thing and they cannot remember to get it right. Then of course there is the lack of customer service from the two younger staff, is it that hard to just be nice to your patrons who tip every time they order. I literally have been here several days last week because I'm pregnant , I like my bagel made a certain way and they made it perfect each time. TODAY ! I ordered my bagel the same way that I have been getting it made. Idk who made it but I called because it wasn't made to my liking so they said they would make it over. I have been frequenting this shop for about 3 yrs and would consider myself a "regular." I go a little further to make it here instead of another local shop, because they have really fresh coffee. But the last few times I was there I was yelled at by, who I believe is the manager or owner. Brown hair, fair skin man. They were out of coffee cup sleeves so I used a second cup, you know, to not burn my hand. And you had to see him, pacing back and forward when he saw the cup laying on the counter when I was ready to pay. He yelled at me asking me if they are out of sleeves and why am I using a second cup, he wanted to charge me extra. He did it in such an aggressive and nasty way. As much as I love their coffee, I'm officially done with this place. Such a shame. read more

The service was sub par and the food sucked i am returning it the bagel was soaked in butter if thats your style there bagels will be perfect thats a matter of preference but the breakfast which is pictured is horrible. Well this place was my favorite bagel spot but apparently they are under new ownership and they have dropped to below the standard of NJ bagels. The actual bagel doesn't have much flavor and the everything seasoning they used to have was amazing, especially the salt but now it tastes like nothing and I'm extremely disappointed. The veggie cream cheese from the old ownership used to be really flavorful and cut perfectly thin, but now they just chop everything into big cubes and it's super hard pieces now. I can't even explain how bummed I am. Please find out the old recipes or stop trying to cut costs and please go back to the old recipes. This place isn't going to make it long if you don't. When I first moved here everyone told me about this place and word travels fast. It's not going to take long for all the locals that loved this spot to realize things have changed. Damn man, I'm super disappointed. This makes me so sad. Rip to my favorite spot. read more

Stopped in there this morning to grab a bagel and some coffee. Place was nicely renovated (there was another bagel place there prior), clean and bright. Staff were really attentive. Owner came up and greeted me, and was telling me about his other places (one in Ocean and one in East Brunswick). Love the menu, all-day breakfast, good pricing, and of course, most importantly, the bagel was good (fresh and good size)--not as big as NY style bagels, but definitely better than a Dunkin bagel. Also, they deliver! That's always a plus in my book. Give them a try. read more

It does not get better than this. The bagels are incredible. My wife gets the asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese. I usually get the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel on asiago (asiago is our favorite bagel here). The staff is great, the food is prepared pretty quickly even if the restaurant is full. The people who work there are very nice. My wife and I love this place so much we have become regulars. read more

Tried this place for the first time instead of going to Bagel 1. Wish I just went there. The everything bagel was over cooked and dry. They smeared on so much cream cheese onto it probably to disguise the bagels lack of quality. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. Rather pay more for a legit jersey bagel. HORRIBLE!!!!!! If I could give it negative stars I would. My wife called to place a pick up order on Christmas morning because they were the only place open. She was left on hold for 15 minutes. No exaggeration. Literally 15 minutes! I drove there, told them my wife is currently on hold, and the guy looked at me and said "what do you want from us, we're busy". Really? This is our 2nd time ordering from this location with issues. The first time we ordered we asked for a total to leave at the door of our work, and we had to call several times just to get a total. We ordered today, asking if they could deliver at a certain time, and were told they could. Again, no total was given, and I was told I would be called back with a total. I was not. I called back moments before delivery was supposed to be made and asked for the total, and was put on hold until the math was done. I then asked if our delivery would be here, and was told the business was busy but it was on its way. Not only did our order not arrive on time, it was 25 minutes late. Our lunch break was over at this point. When I called back a 3rd time asking where the delivery was and why we were told it would arrive on time, the man on the phone said he tried his best but the driver had left a long time ago. The bagel store is probably 3 minutes away, so I don't get how it was 25 minutes late if it had already left. On top of this, our order was incorrect. We will never order from this bagel store again. Me and my girlfriend usually go to bagel one. Today we wanted to try something different. Bad choice. There wasn't that many people in the store and it took us 15 minutes to order. When my girlfriend order her food with peppers and onions the guy with the glasses who took our order questioned what she wanted and gave us dirty looks. It was not a hard order at all.
