    Bagel Talk sign

In Marlboro Mall, you will find a bagel shop that offers breakfast to the Marlboro community. My first time traveling around Marlboro Mall gave me the pleasant experience of entering Bagel Talk. Brand: 5/5 Despite the simple name, Bagel Talk displays itself with the wooden, easily identifiable logo. And despite the simple entrance, the interior makes way for a cozy vibe with the wooden-and-marble panels all over the walls. Website: 4/5 Every part of Bagel Talk's online presence perfectly encapsulates the bagel shop identity, which automatically gives it five stars, from the background image to the menus to the image presentations. While it does have the basic theme presented by Route 9 Shopper, it manages to make use out of what little it offers. Wait Time: 5/5 I did not have to wait for a long time for my order. Ambiance: 3/5 It had a warm interior despite the December weather, which is the most notable part of the ambiance. Nothing about the establishment became bothersome to me, for the television and the table space sufficed. The comfortable seats helped add to the cozy ambiance. The menu selection had an abundance of options stemming from bagels as the key ingredient. The overall interior design of the establishment separates the waiting line area with the dining area. It works in that it separates the people waiting in line from the people sitting down; but it does have its disadvantage. I also did have a problem ordering since the counters for those who ordered to go, and for those to stay had differences. I did become confused as to whether the staff would call out my name at the counter or while I sat. Also, the booth table I sat at was dirty. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Bagel Talk Bomb, which consisted of eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage beneath an egg bagel, with a side of orange juice. I do not know if a menu change occurred, but I did not get home fries and instead got a Bagel Talk Bomb with the same ingredients but included peppers. Nonetheless, I appreciated the pleasant taste of Bagel Talk's well-heated signature dish. The sausage has the most prominent taste, giving it a meaty and inherently spicy quality. I cannot say for certain whether the egg bagels add any noticeable taste, but I will say that it does offer some taste despite not being toasted. The bagels also held their forms despite the bacon bits constantly falling off. I could barely taste the eggs and cheese though. Service: 5/5 The staff had patience with me, for I did feel lost due to the aforementioned ambiance. Worth The Money?: 5/5 The bagel dishes represent the establishment from the very name downwards. If I may suggest something, I have curiosity as to what a Marlboro sandwich would look and taste like. While a lot of the menu items do not have their own images on the website, it uses placement to make use out of what little the website theme offers. The Bagel Talk Bomb itself reflected the time it took to make it. Eating throughout the time there managed to be tolerable even as the afternoon rush started to happen, and a lot of care was put into the Bagel Talk Bomb. Concerning first impressions, I will say that Bagel Talk made a good one, for the ambiance reflects the brand perfectly. The coziness comes from both the brand and the heat inside, which might (dare I say) rival that of Starbucks. Frequenting the website itself had its own welcome ambiance. Inside the establishment, the ambiance did not try my patience while waiting for my order. My biggest issue with Bagel Talk had less to do with the service and more with the ambiance. I would suggest making it clear with clearly visible signs which counters would take the orders for to go and for to stay, and which ones would be for paying for the orders. I will say that the unique dish and the interior experience makes the overall price worth it. Rating: 4/5 Stars The experience was pretty decent, and I would like to see Bagel Talk represent Marlboro more. I would only consider Bagel Talk to be my first choice of breakfast spot if find myself in Marlboro Mall. Recommend To... Anyone looking for a breakfast spot that manages to maintain the cozy interior aesthetic.

This is a great bagel and sandwich store to definitely check out if you're ever in Marlboro, NJ. The staff are helpful and friendly. Inside has plenty of seatings available. I visited during lunch hour on a weekend, and there were a lot of people, but the wait was worth it. They have a variety of different sandwiches, bagels, and cream cheese, which makes it difficult to decide what to pick. They use interesting names for their grilled sandwiches. I ended up ordering sandwiches and fries to go. The bread itself was so soft and chewy. The fries were so-so. I would recommend getting sandwiches that come with fried chicken cutlet or turkey. You will not regret it. Overall, this is a nice little deli to visit for an affordable and tasty meal. Note that the sandwiches are big enough for two people to eat. I would come again and try other items on their menu

Everything bagel with turkey provolone and lettuce

I am disgusted. Long time patron of bagel talk. Ordered two sandwich's with cold cuts. Turkey provolone on one sandwich. I got one slice of cheese and three slices of turkey. My husband basically the same. $40. Please look at the pics.

Tried the tuna and bagels from a staff member from my job and I knew I had to pay a visit. I went with a friend on a Sunday morning, was a tad busy but not overwhelming, enough space for guest to sit and have breakfast and very clean and well organized. I knew with the crowd the food was going to be Amazing. I was on a mission to order the tuna again! I ordered the tuna club talk which came with your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. I ordered it on a everything bagel but forgot to mention the cheese of my choice and was given american which was completely fine and I truly enjoyed it. This sandwich also came with a small side and can pick either pasta salad, potato salad or coleslaw. Was not sure which to order so I told the staff to just surprise me. I was in heaven eating meal and the pasta salad was excellent and I normally am a bit picky with pasta salad but this complimented the tuna sandwich pretty well! My friend ordered a tuna as well and loved it. I was also able to order a pint of tuna to take for work. I'm already planning my next visit! Thank you for the great service!

My husband and I made a business trip to Marlboro New Jersey, and asked our business partner where he'd recommend grabbing some breakfast, he told us the way to get to bagel talk. So glad we listened to his recommendation! This place is little, but MIGHTY! They have all kinds of breakfast and lunch foods. Everything looked so good that it was such a difficult decision. We ended up getting the French toast with eggs, bacon and sausage. They legit came out with a pound of bacon!!! Definitely good portion sizes for great prices. We already can't wait to visit again! You can order take out or they also have some booth seating to stay in and eat. The service was friendly, chatty, helpful and courteous! Definitely give this place a try! They also have a good assortment of Italian cookies and pastries, donuts, cream cheese spreads and a deli section.

I first came to bagel talk because Grandpa's Bagels was closed at 7:15 even though I purposely checked their hours to try to avoid that from happening. Bagel talk is a little out of the way but so worth it. Their crumb cake is amazing as well as the bagels, and omelettes.

There bagels are good, as is their selection of bagels and cream cheeses. Their staff is friendly and their location clean. It's the kind of place that is packed weekend mornings, folks taking bagels to go, and those meeting for breakfast. I really can't fault bagel talk too much. If I'm being very critical: The coffee taste like sh*t, and Today I tried the mustang, a double cheese burger, with bacon and mozzarella and fries on the side. A great deal, and a great idea. However, the burger lack flavor. Still, strongly recommended

The bagels here are exactly like I like them. A little crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And they are large. I usually get a roast beef on bagel as a lunch. Their roast beef is really good and not too processed tasting. It is also very juicy. It's a good lunch for around $8.

This is my go-to breakfast spot whenever I am back home in NJ. Friendly and casual atmosphere with top notch bagel sandwiches. The bagels are baked fresh with a great texture - perfect level of soft chewiness. My favorite order is the multigrain bagel with sausage, egg and cheese. Like a McDonald's mcmuffin but sub shoddy english muffin for a delicious bagel. Usually a straight black coffee drinker with no flavorings, but they also have a wide variety like chocolate, hazelnut and pumpkin spice which are all pretty good and not overly sweet. Great breakfast spot!
