from my days in high school this place has always been a staple over the years with relationships hardships and moments of great emotion when all was settled down a bagel world trip was required the seating is inviting even if you were in pajamas or a suit and maybe should at school by that time in the morning (haha). We found that the bagels are not fully cooked and raw inside. We stopped going. I went this morning to the strip mall where the store is and decided to get a bagel. I just got my first small batch of bagels. They seem legit. Nice crust, decent amount of topping on an everything bagel, good size. Slightly more expensive than some places, but not by much. The place is dirty and depending on who is there serving you the experience changes drastically. If you get the crew led by a pleasant hispanic lady with glasses, you should order extra because everything comes out perfect and she is great to talk to. If you go on a Sunday the pleasant hispanic lady is clearly not the boss that day. Instead there is a sloppy fat white woman with a crappy attitude in charge of a few teenagers (the teens are always obviously new and wide eyed) and the nice lady seems to just get talked down to. The short sloppy white woman (or her crew) has never failed on getting me what I ordered, or getting the price correct, or making a sandwich horribly lopsided, or letting my food go cold. If you see her there, just walk out because its not worth it. Since the slob is the one in charge, this place gets 1 star. It also explains why the place needs to be wiped down from top to bottom - I have never seen her in cloths that weren't stained with slop. If she cant be bothered to wear clean cloths, she cant be bothered to clean her business. read more

Went to Bagel World two Sunday mornings in a row. Last Sunday I told the clerk that the man making bagels wasn't wearing a mask. She said he knows but did nothing about it. Went back this morning and the same guy making the bagels wasn't wearing a mask. When I told the clerk she said he "usually" does and went back and said something to him. So the bagels were good. No complaints. Nothing special. However, the amount of cream cheese they put is way too much. Think it would taste better, with a lot less cream cheese!!! Since it's conveniently located by my boyfriends house I'm sure we'll be back for cheat meals :) read more

I don't know why this place is so busy! Just had a bagel and it's as hard as a rock. I ordered a walnut raisin cream cheese on a plain bagel. I thought the cream cheese was really good but the bagel was over cooked and it has developed a hard crust and center was dry. If your bagels was not made well, throw them out and make a new batch! Maybe that's their normal bagel? Also ordered a blueberry muffin and it did not taste good. I'm thinking of throwing it away but i hate to waste food. I'll starve myself before eating some of it. The store itself is very dated , so it's been there for awhile. There's seating as soon as you enter the store. Don't even know how it stays in business!? This is and always has been my go to favorite bagel store. The staff is always nice. Their fresh bagels are amazing and love that they are thick enough to cut into thirds. They're also the only bagels that are still good toasted! read more

Picked up bagels for the family a couple of times from here. The first time the bagels were all warm and moist, they were great. Second time the bagels were not warm and a little hard. Most likely because I picked them up around 10 am. Either way we just popped them in the toaster over and everyone enjoyed. read more

I've been coming here for years and the quality has really gone down hill. I just ordered a blt bagel and it actually had one piece of bacon on each half along with one slice of lettuce and once slice of tomato. Very inconsistent, typically I go here and get an bagel with butter and bacon (extra crispyy) and sometimes it's normal. But sometimes, more often recently, the whole bagel just taste over burnt, basically like cigarettes. I can't even eat the whole bagel, and it's a waste of my money. I just want my bacon extra crispy, I don't want to whole bagel to taste like cigarettes and have burn marks all over it. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The girls at the register were very nice and helpful. Our problem started when we went to pay. We had been given a gift card, which they would not accept. They called the owner and they were told, it was too old, and they would not take it. Not only is that horrendous business practice, I do not believe it is legal to take a consumers money and not supply the service. It is amazing that a business owner, would lose a sale and repeat business by claiming the shop gift card, can no longer be used in their shop. We planned to purchase more than what we had on the gift card, but because of the owner decision, not to help the client. We walked out with nothing, the shop did it get a sale and we will not be back. read more

Food is good... But the employees make the experience such that I would not want to return.. With an exception for the one women that was running the grill.. The other 4 high school aged kids had no gloves on and felt that there was no issue with laughing and joking around while touching everyone's food... And the owner standing in the back seemed like he could care less... I will not be returning. read more
