Great local spot to come get your keys. This place is definitely old school but they are very hospitable. I came here to get a couple keys duplicated and when they didn't work they tried again without any complaint! They have a lot of fun keys like UCLA or SF Giants or Tie Dye so you can get fun ones or plain! read more

So glad there's a locksmith place that charges a decent price and can do keys that others can such as a small mailbox key. The staff there is nice and I was in and out in no time. Definitely will be coming back for future key making/lock smith work. read more

Ampm locksmith was absolutely incredible in helping me get my key programmed for my Lexus. They were able to cut the metal key blank and program the remote all within 10 minutes, the price was 1/3 the cost of the Lexus dealer. Very professional and knowledgeable service. I highly recommend this locksmith for all your needs. read more

Love this business! They are always so helpful, honest, and honorable! They do what they say and don't change once the job is done! They have done my mailbox for me, they have done our home sliding backdoor, they have made my house keys and done several car keys for me! Price is always reasonable & they are quick! I always come to them whenever I have a problem with a key or need an extra 1! Would definitely recommend this business! I am a resident of San Ramon and don't even know any other business like there's around because I have no need to look for 1! They will come to you or you can go to them! They will even asses your situation if you take pics of what your inquiring about! read more

AM PM Locksmith - They are mobile! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - San Ramon, California

I called about needing a new fob key for my car (I was locked out) & they sent someone to my house within 20 minutes! When he got here, he was able to skillfully and carefully get into the car. He also was able to recognize an issue with the locking mechanism and fixed that on the spot as well. The cost was average for a locksmith but the convenience was worth it. read more

Waited for 3 minutes while one of the employees was vacuuming their workstation right in front of me without acknowledging that I was waiting. That being said, was able to get my key fob replaced and programmed and paid for within 20 minutes during the mid morning hours. Not OEM accessory quality, but does the job. Comparably priced for 3rd party industry. Would go back for location convenience, part availability and fast service. read more

This locksmith is so great the staff are really nice. It's my first time here came in had to change my vehicle keys. And actually the owner is here and he is very nice gave me a discount and it was perfect. read more

They see you as money. Whoever they think they can push a higher price for, they will do so. They look at you. They see someone who they think will pay a little. They raise the price for him. There are no fixed prices for jobs. He now told them yes and the price is 140 I told him now he told me 90 how did you suddenly get to such an amount he told me there is nothing to do it will take time for us to do it and that is the price I told him do you want 100 I am ready no more straight away he agreed it just lets us see how much he stole and tried to steal Me who wasn't ashamed to say 140 after his seller said 90 and I'm sure someone else will come in and tell him a different price, just a shame of a place read more

I can not thank the guys at AM/PM Locksmith for their help! The remote key for my Jeep Cherokee didn't work, and a new or replacement key will cost approximately $300 at the dealership. I often drive by the shop on my way home from work and decided to drop in to see if they fix my key. On the spot, one of the guys said he can create a new key for my car in 10 minutes for $150. He created a new key that work perfectly! I highly recommend AM/PM Locksmith for key services!! read more

Ive never left a review but these guys deserve a good one. Able to get into my car, make a new key, and program it and send me on my way. Affordable pricing and potential reimbursement through AAA. Thanks ya'll! read more

Pros: they showed up quickly (within 20-30 minutes of my calling) They were friendly, fast, straightforward and efficient. Cons: $120 to open a door that takes them 2 minutes to get unlocked. Kind of stealing from people at that point. But hey I'm the one who locked myself out, right? So beggars can't be choosers. read more

These guys are Pampering! Called and they arrived promptly to fix the jammed ignition on my car, took two hours and took it apart Checking Everything thoroughly . Went back together with two new keys so it worked nice and smooth! Thank You for the great Prompt Service. read more

I spent two hours waiting on-site for them to either try and program a key fob for my car, or listen to them explain that 'someone will be here any moment from San Francisco'. Then I returned home and - - at their instruction - - waited for a call that never came. Four days later, I received a voicemail telling me they were ready for me to - - once again - - drive 30 minutes to their location to try the process all over again, but by this time I had already Used keyme to solve the problem within just two hours at my home. I previously used AMPM with success, but something has clearly gone downhill in their technical skills, as well as customer service and communication. read more

Sanju was prompt , professional and friendly. I requested service for a replacement key after losing mine for a 2016 Optima and he was there within 45 minutes. I would definitely use them again. Sanju was awesome ! read more

I lost the only key to my car today. The Lexus dealer told me that the fastest way to get a new key was to call AMPM. I did. It worked well for me. They were prompt, and friendly, and the key worked on the first try. The price was reasonable as well. They saved me from a disaster and all with a smile. I'm lucky. They are professional. read more

TRY ANY OTHER LOCKSMITH SERVICE! They did not show up after we spoke on the phone and made an appointment. I was instructed to text my name and address which I did, immediately following the phone call. 15 mins after appointment set time, I called /texted (no reply) I did receive a call half an hour after the set appointment time to which AMPM asked me (bluntly) "what is it you need?" Then after a few minutes on the phone this guy starts yelling at me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am fair but I am firm. I asked AMPM If they simply thought my job was too small or whether they forgot. In this case, Honesty would've helped. I would've given AMPM another chance / rescheduled if he didn't say "YES SIR I FORGOT 'IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT ME TO SAY' ANYWAY I DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS, YOU CAN LEAVE A BAD YELP. LEAVING A BAD YELP ISN'T KILLING ANYONE..." read more

Very honest company Honored their over the phone pricing and as very quick and efficient. Good quality and saved me over $500 compared to the dealership pricing Definitely recommend and will be back for all my locksmith needs read more

The owner and his assistant JUAN went above and beyond for me. I had lost my electric bike battery keys and so I needed a mold from the lock for a new set of keys. They came thru. Even loaded my extremely heavy bike into my SUV for me. If you need a trusted certified Locksmith, call them. They were awesome. read more

Poor service, they gave me a price over the phone to rekey lock bolts, however when I went to the store, they gave a different price, switch and bait tactic. Totally unprofessional and wasted my time. very poor value for what you get from them. read more

Super responsive- quick appt and highly recommend. This business is professional and attentive. Something that seems like a dying art. If you need a locksmith, keys, locks, etc these are the people to call! read more

This business is deceptive. I lost my car keys and called and spoke to OJ to get a quote and he gave me a price over the phone but when he showed up gave me the bait n switch and quoted me a higher price which cost me n xtra $170 and i really had no chance other than let him do the work since it was the weekend. Originally quoted @ $349 but with the bait n switch came to $545.70,and then when he finished the work he said he replaced tge batteries which was a lie!!!! The one remote battery was dead and the other remote battery was needed to be replaced too as my car said it should be replaced. Avoid this business as they are dishonest and will take your money and charge you more than they first quote you a price I was charged an additional $196 from as i stated the original price. These guys will rio you off and i'll be turning them into the better business bureau read more

I got locked out of a condo unit after a service company accessed it. AMPM was able to schedule a visit the next day on a non-emergency call. Bill from AMPM is very experienced and was able to resolve the lockout issue quickly. A job well done. Thank you for your help. I will keep AMPM on my contact list for future reference. read more

Went to get the keypad fixed for our safe. All that needed to be done was solder a wire that came loose. Because he had to work in a tiny area he wanted to charge $85.00. My husband thought it was too much, so he said $75.00 . We left the part there, and the next day we called and they said he couldn't fix it (they didn't charge us) and would have to get a new keypad. We ended up going to Foothill Locksmith's in Hayward where we originally bought the safe and they fixed it for $17.00. Customer beware of AMPM. read more

A few months ago my key fob broke to my Honda Accord ex-L and the dealer wanted so much money. My Dad is a landscape contractor and told me to go to AmPM Locksmith because he had a great experience with getting his truck key fob fixed. I was just here a few kJ the ago and they fixed my car but I fell on my keys and cracked the key fob again and I live in Los Angeles. I came up here to see family and brought my broken key and the owner remembered me and asked what happened and said to the guy fixing my key take 7$ off she was just here. It was just a nice jester and helpful. The customer service was on point before but this jester made my so happy. I know small businesses are being crushed in California so it was really nice that his mom and pop shop and out of their way to just try to help me financially even if it was just seven dollars. They do good work there fast and the prices are fair! read more

Another great experience at AMPM Locksmith. Repaired an electronic key and hit a new cover. Was in and out in 10 minutes.

Amazing service, friendly and knowledgeable. Price was better than dealership and done in 30 minutes.

I've used AMPM twice now, and have had a great experience each time. First time was to make an extra car key, second time was to troubleshoot my sliding door since the locking mechanism broke - plus my mailbox lock broke. Ken and Vijay helped me. Ken looked at my sliding door, needed to look up a new handle for it, and said he'd follow up with me in a few days. Sure enough he followed up, and even though he couldn't find a new handle, I appreciate that he called me back to tell me. Highly recommend. read more

Bill saved the day after I locked my keys in my car at the outlet mall. Thank you so much for fast service.

don't go but if you have no choice, make sure you were there. Get the receipt and take a picture of the person who assisted you. even them, if you have any issue and have to return, be prepared to be interrogated by the owner like his a prosecutor and a judge. After all that they will refuse to fix their very expensive incompetence Using the excuse that they didn't provide you any service. Don't trust this place to make your house keys. In general, avoid this place like the plague. read more
