Dr Nguyen walked in and had taken her time with me with my skin irritation. I loved the way Dr Nguyen talked to me about my skin irritation and how to treat the irritation. Dr Nguyen even taught me something. On the way out Cole and I had chopped it up being that we are both from the east coast. Like everyone was really cool and laid back. The atmosphere was very laid back. I would recommend Dr Nguyen and her staff to my family and friends. I felt like I was around close friends that actually cared. I want to say thank you Dr Nguyen and staff. Kareem Hacker

I rarely leave reviews for medical providers or establishments. I worked in the hospital for 5+…read moreyears. I understand what can go on, but my experiences with this dermatology department have consistently left me feeling rushed, dismissed, and genuinely uncomfortable. Every visit feels less like patient care and more like being processed through an assembly line. The most disrespectful moment came when I was actively asking a question and the lights in the room were literally turned off, an unmistakable cue that my time was up and I needed to leave. I honestly could not believe it happened. It was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience rather than the reason for the appointment. To make matters worse, I later noticed my dermatologist leaving the building in a rush with a car full of balloons. I completely understand that people have lives, schedules, and events outside of work, and I also understand appointments can sometimes run over. However, this was my annual appointment until they decided it wasn't. This is something patients often wait months for and reasonably expect not to be rushed through. Beyond that, the overall atmosphere has often felt cold and judgmental. Patients should not leave a medical office feeling embarrassed for simply asking questions or seeking help. Dermatology can already make people feel vulnerable enough without adding dismissive behavior on top of it. Efficiency is one thing. Basic respect and bedside manner are another. Unfortunately, this office seems to have confused the two.

We were finally able to move forward with getting answers, and we are so thankful we chose this office. Brittany was wonderful. She was thorough, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure we understood the next steps. Her communication and professionalism really helped ease our concerns. My husband needed several biopsies done, and if you've ever had a skin biopsy, you know the numbing process can be one of the most uncomfortable parts. The medical assistant was amazing. She did everything she could to keep him calm, explain what was happening, and make the process as quick and comfortable as possible. The office itself was very clean, and the entire staff was welcoming and kind. Going through something as stressful as skin cancer evaluations can be overwhelming, but this team made us feel like we were in good hands. We are very happy we chose this office for my husband's skin cancer care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and knowledgeable providers.

At my appointment, the check-in process was simple and efficient. I only waited about five minutes before being called back. Dr. Lehrer was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. After several years with this clinic, the decline is official. I would no longer recommend this…read moredermatology practice based on my experience. What once may have felt like a patient-centered clinic now comes across as more focused on maximizing patient volume and profits than on providing quality care. My appointment was rescheduled twice, forcing me to repeatedly rearrange my work and personal schedule to accommodate theirs. Changes can happen as late as one day before an appointment, leaving patients scrambling to adjust their schedules on short notice. While rescheduling is sometimes unavoidable, repeatedly expecting patients to accommodate last-minute changes shows little consideration for their time and commitments. Adding to the frustration, the clinic recently implemented a strict five-minute grace period for late arrivals without providing notice or clearly communicating the policy. Yet arriving on time does not mean you will be seen anywhere near your scheduled appointment time. The double standard is hard to ignore: patients are expected to follow strict rules, while the clinic does not appear to hold itself to the same standard. This lack of consistency and communication reflects a disregard for patients' time. The front office experience is equally disappointing. You cannot even contact the office directly because calls are routed through a centralized call center, making it unnecessarily difficult to communicate with staff or resolve issues. Combined with the lack of clear communication about scheduling changes and policies, the entire process feels impersonal and poorly managed. Another major red flag is the emphasis on retail products and spa services. When you first walk in, the prominent displays of "proprietary" products, facial promotions, spa services, and holiday discount signs immediately create a sales-driven atmosphere. There is nothing inherently wrong with offering cosmetic services, but the emphasis feels excessive for a medical practice. It comes across more like a spa focused on selling products and services than a dermatology clinic prioritizing patient care. The overall impression is **profits over people**--more effort spent promoting products, quickly pushing patients through to get to the next copay dollar vs demonstrating genuine concern for patients' medical needs Overall, the experience feels increasingly unprofessional, impersonal, and lacking in empathy. Between repeated rescheduling, last-minute changes, inconsistent policies, poor communication, and aggressive product promotion, it is difficult not to feel like another appointment on a production line rather than a patient whose time and well-being matter. Patients deserve clear communication, reasonable scheduling practices, professional service, and recommendations driven by their medical needs rather than sales goals. After several years with this clinic, it is disappointing to see this decline. I would encourage others to explore alternative dermatology practices that put patient care first.
