We could not be happier with our experience working with A.L.S Remodeling and the owner Lukasz Szabla. From start to finish, he exceeded our expectations and gave us the kitchen of our dreams. He handled everything--removing the old kitchen, removing our old appliances, and flawlessly installed our brand-new cabinets, backsplash, countertops, appliances, drywall and more. The attention to detail is second to none. Every cabinet is perfectly aligned; the new kitchen design is outstanding, and the countertops and backsplash look stunning together. What impressed us the most was not only the craftsmanship but also the professionalism. Lukasz showed up on time, kept the workspace neat, and communicated with us throughout the entire process so we always knew what was happening. Remodeling can be stressful, but he made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. And the contract price was very good. Our new kitchen is absolutely beautiful--bright, modern, and functional--and we've already received so many compliments from friends and family. The photos don't even do it justice! If you're looking for a contractor who is reliable, meticulous, and truly cares about delivering quality work, look no further. We highly recommend A.L.S. Remodeling. We will definitely call him again for future projects. read more

Lucas and his father have done outstanding work on our deck and because of that we have asked them to help with several other home improvement projects. Literally the perfect service provider. Skilled expertise, professional communication, fast service, great communication, transparent about prices, and super nice! I want to write a very long review about their quality work but I'll just say A+ and 10/10 read more

We just renovated our small bathroom with ALS and are so pleased with the results. We got quotes from 3 companies and definitely felt like we got the best value for money with ALS. They worked carefully and quickly, and the results are beautiful. I'll attach a photo of the final project - ALS installed tiles, toilet, bathtub, vanity, medicine cabinet, fan, and did drywall patching/paint. It took longer than expected to get on their calendar, but once they started, they finished in record time thanks to the fact that they were there all day, every day. (That's something you really appreciate if you've experienced renovations where the team goes MIA for several days mid-project and you're left with the mess without the progress.) We look forward to having the team help us with a few other projects in future. read more

ALS Remodeling - General Contractors Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Lukas, the owner of ALS Remodeling, helped us update and finish our basement. We couldn't be happier with his work - he was always very communicative, respectful, and transparent about the work that had to be done. We've got an old house, so there were unexpected things found, and Lukas was always very honest about what needed to be done and what could be pushed off. Having worked with my fair share of GCs, the things that stood out to me about Lukas: - Project completed on time: We're expecting another child, and despite adding more things during the project, he was able to manage the timeline and add extra hours of work in order to get the project done within a few extra days of the original timeline. - Hard work ethic: Lukas and his father were always punctual - arriving at 7am, and working throughout the entire day until they were done at 4 or 5pm everyday. - Honest & Reasonable Budget: I do my research (for every purchase/service I make/hire) and Lukas was one of the most reasonable quotes and with one of the better knowledge bases. I learned through the few weeks we worked together that he could be trusted, and we'll continue to give him projects in the future, likely without having to get additional bids! Looking forward to working with Lukas and his father to get more improvements done around the house in the near future! read more

We hired A.L.S Remodeling to replace our rooftop deck and fencing, and it was by far the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. After getting quotes from six different companies, Lukasz (Owner) stood out as the most polite, honest, and fairly priced. From start to finish, Lukasz and his team were professional, reliable, and communicative. They showed up on time every day, kept me updated throughout the process, cleaned up after themselves every day, and delivered a beautifully finished deck. I'm grateful we found them and highly recommend A.L.S Remodeling to anyone in need of quality work. I already referred them to my mother-in-law for a bathroom remodel. If I ever need another project done, A.L.S Remodeling will be my first call. read more

Lukasz and his crew did a masterful job of renovating the first floor apartment of our old late 1880's two-flat. The scope included remodeling a kitchen and two bathrooms, gutting and re-drywalling the main bedroom, as well as re-painting and adding molding/baseboards in our living/dining room. The project turned out beautifully and we could not be happier. From the start Lukasz was very upfront about costs and time. He was easy to talk to and get project updates from throughout the process. Even though we didn't have official design drawings we had a rough vision of what we wanted and he was able to executive it. When small construction challenges came up he was able to offer reasonable solutions/alternatives that didn't break the bank. It is no understatement that these guys put in serious work: the crew showed up every weekday morning for weeks until the job was finished to our liking. He even came back for some touch ups which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend his services; the value and quality of craftsmanship were fantastic. We definitely plan on hiring him again for future projects. read more

We just had a bathroom remodeling with Lucas and his team and they did an exceptional job updating our bathroom. They are very professional, always on time and always communicates the updates with the project even with the small things. Their attention to detail is also amazing. They added a lot of details that we've never thought of like polishing our window and replacing the door casing. Even if there were some unexpected issues that arise like our electric wires, they still came up with a solution. We would like to work with them again for other projects. Highly recommend!! I also attached the before and after photos of our project. read more

Lukasz and his team of workers are top notch professionals & EXTREMELY hard working. My kitchen gut, chimney removal including structural changes, and total bath gut job were done efficiently and extremely well. ALS installed my custom roman marble tub, which was time consuming and not easy, but ALS was up for the task! I was kept informed during the process, and pricing was more than fair. In fact, Lukasz and his team are back in my house today, working on another project of mine. I would hire them again without question, the next project is my basement. read more

Lukas and his team recently helped us with a large remodeling project of our 2nd floor bedrooms. He listened to all of our concerns and requests, and was able to design rooms/closets to our liking. What I thought made him stand out compared to other contractors we have hired is that he is honest, reliable, and trustworthy. When he says he will be there, he gives a time and arrives on time. He estimated the amount of total time and cost it would take to do the job and the estimates were all on par - any additions charges were laid out and discussed before proceeding. We were so lucky to have found this company. Would definitely hire him again for future projects! read more

ALS just completed our kitchen remodeling and bathroom design/installation. I could not be happier with the work they did. I've worked with a number of contractors over the years and ALS is the best I've come across. Always on time, very professional, great quality work for an affordable prices. Most importantly once they start a project they stay with it until it is done. Too often contractors start a project then move on to someone else and in the meantime leaving you waiting unnecessarily for days. I would not hesitate to call on them again and would definitely refer them to my friends and family. read more

ALS was a great choice for my bathroom project. They were responsive to my schedule and budget, and they were prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend. read more

I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I was really impressed with how punctual and true to their word they were throughout the whole process. The whole team worked together flawlessly to get my kitchen done how I wanted, on the timeline they promised despite the inevitable surprises that come up when remodeling an older home. They also accommodated me when I asked for changes. I've had a lot of work done to this house over the years, and the teams I've worked with previously could never seem to stick to their timelines, so this team's punctuality, as well as their thoroughness and professionalism, was what made them my go-to from now on. read more

I found ALS to be very dependable, hard-working, and accommodating. I hired Lukasz and his team to take on an unusual project - to build an elaborate treehouse that was 10 feet of the ground. I didn't realize how skilled and experienced they were at building houses, which allowed them to build this thing better than I could have ever imagined (check out the photos!). Their pricing is very reasonable - he shows you the receipts for anything bought at the hardware store, and you pay for that without markup. And the pricing for labor is transparent. I can be picky about the details, and I found Lukasz was very accommodating to my specific needs. The only thing that was difficult was finding time in ALS's schedule to work on my project. I hired them at the peak season, when everybody else was also getting projects done. Lukasz was very accommodating and worked weekends just so that my project could be finished, and I very much appreciated that. I would definitely hire these guys again! read more

ALS Remodeling - Beautiful fence - General Contractors Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Lukasz and his team did a fantastic job with my tub and tile job for my condo. I was having sinking issues with my tub and Lukasz immediately came over and explained in layman's terms what was going on. He was able to not only solve that issue but speedily got us ready for the bathroom remodel. He was flexible for the level of renovation I wanted and was clear, concise, and friendly throughout the whole process. Every step of the way he took time to explain what was our best option when issues arose and kept me informed about every detail. I love the new bathroom and Lukasz was a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend. read more

Due to a family member's disability, we needed to have our bathroom remodeled quickly. Lukasz and his crew came through for us! In just over a week, the team turned our old, unsafe bathroom into a modern and safe bathroom. LIttle problems cropped up here and there while they worked (for example, they discovered that our bathroom was not properly vented & the windowsill was rotted!) and they dealt with each problem beautifully. The crew was tidy, professional, kind, and skilled. They had professional vehicles and tools. They answered every question and were good communicators. They honored every promise, including start/end times and the all-important budget (which was very reasonable). We had such a good experience with them on this job that we immediately hired them for another job (building a much-needed pantry in our cramped home) that will start in just a few weeks! I will post some photos here. read more

I used ALS Remodeling for a couple big projects at a rental property and highly recommend their services. Extremely punctual and communicative, we agreed on final products for a bathroom remodel and front deck/steps rebuild with awning. Both projects turned out beautiful and were completed extremely fast, to include building the awning from scratch. Will end up asking for another estimate again on a bathroom remodel for the spring. To anyone looking for their services, they are highly recommended!!!!! read more

ALS Remodeling did an amazing job in our basement! Lukas and his crew are craftsmen and their work is beautiful. Lukas was very pleasant to work with during the process. He communicated very clearly on the pricing, which was very fair, and the plan of work for each day. We had a different contractor that was terrible to work with. A 6 week (their estimate) project was not complete after 3 months. ALS Remodeling tore out the small amount of shower work that was done by the previous contractor. And they redid it with the proper materials. They completed the outstanding work in 2 weeks. When some fixtures were delayed, they continued with other work and worked non-stop while they were here. It is so refreshing to work with a hard-working and honest group of people. On the last day, Lukas said he would follow up in a few weeks to if there are any issues. Such great customer service! read more

We couldn't have been more pleased of the multiple jobs Lukasz and his team has done in our home! They are absolute true craftsmen and just the best at their work. We found Lukasz to be extremely responsive starting with him getting us the quote for our project just the next day and very responsive throughout our remodeling period which we really appreciated. We also found his quotes to be very reasonable for us comparing to 3 other contractors. Lukasz is very punctual. We would see him start at 7am every day and end at 5pm, never late and if need be to stay longer he would when his time permitted. He even came to work on his mother's birthday for a few hours! The multiple projects Lukasz did for us were rehabbing our kitchen, installing new hardwood flooring, adding ceiling fans to our bathrooms, installing can lights throughout the house, replacing the old plaster ceilings with drywall and painting our entire home. We are very satisfied with his work and will absolutely have him help us in the future because we do trust him. Thank you again Lukasz! read more

What an amazing job Lukasz had done. Five weeks project was done in less than four weeks. True professional and very detail oriented. He has completely changed the looks for our bathrooms and Kitchen within very reasonable price. Definitely recommended and very trustworthy. I can assure you that working with Lukasz will give you a peace of mind. He went above and beyond and we are grateful for his work. Posting some before and after pictures, I will let you be the judge of them. read more

As with any project, a good general contractor only works best when you as a client are able to address any major milestones along the side of the contractor, and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. This is done with great communication, trouble shooting, and execution. Lukasz and the team at ALS Remodeling did all of these things and so much more. Each and every day I was briefed on the progress of my project, what stage of the project progression we were in, and if any issue arose, Lukasz addresses all concerns in a calm and collective manner, and with ACTION! All in all, Lukasz is the type of contractor that you feel you can look in the eyes and say I trust this individual, not only into my house but in handling a major project effectively; thus, I feel confident in recommending ALS Remodeling to my family and friends for all of their project needs, and I will definitely be reaching out to Lukasz in the near future. Again, thank you to the ALS Remodeling team! read more

They are reasonable, honest, and responsive to concerns you might have. Can't say enough great things about him. Thanks, Lukasz read more

ALS has done my home some good. We needed a reliable contractor who would get it done quickly, reliably and at a fair price. I was able to get my plumbing under the sink fixed to code, perform exterior paint work to our firewall outside. We recently just had work done with ALS Remodeling. After a few different quotes from other contractors we decided to move forward with Lukasz and his crew. Lukasz told me that they would be at our house every morning at 7:00am. While him and his crew were working he ran a few ideas by which would save me money on the long run. There were times they would stay later to finish the work. They did not disappoint and made sure everything was done correctly. ALS Remodeling did an amazing job at our house. We couldn't be happier with the results. I already started planning with Lukasz and his crew to come back and do more work on our 2nd floor. No longer need to look for a remodeling company. Thanks again, ALS Remodeling! Keep up the great work!! read more

We had a wonderful experience with A.L.S. Service, INC. We met with Lukas for a quote first and he was very reasonable compared to the others we received. Since day one, he and his father were on time everyday and went straight to work. They worked so well together and we are extremely satisfied with how everything turned out. The paint job was meticulous. Lukas was also very accommodating. We had a few things we wanted to add on to the job and he was able to schedule it right in. We have some more work that we'd like to do and we already have him booked for it!!! We highly recommend ALS! read more

They are willing to do the work as long as you don't get the permit from the city you live in. In which to me is a red flag to begin with. The purpose of getting a permit is to protect the home owner and be up to code and make sure the job is done right. The fact that they never called back after I said I will need a permit after their quote in which I agreed to, speaks volumes. I wouldn't recommend, do your homework before you hire anyone who works in this matter. read more
