Dante and his technician Juan have been GREAT to work with. He has given our building a new look with the upgraded fence. We have had issues for years and have always placed fixing the fence on the back burner, but as we all know, things get worse with time and it did, but they came in heard my complaints and went to work and went above and beyond expectations. read more

This is the second time that I have hired this company. Previously it was to plant a birch tree. On this occasion it was for fencing. In my experience Dante's provides everything a homeowner desires when hiring a contractor. They are quick to respond, their pricing is fair, they perform the work in a timely and efficient manner, and produce excellent results. I would not hesitate to hire them again read more

Dante and his team were incredible. I submitted a request for help through Yelp and they responded the same day. He provided an organized and detailed quote within 24 hours of our first conversation. The quote was very competitive with quotes we had received from other groups. After confirming we wanted to move forward with Dante's team, they started the work within one week. The team was extremely efficient and had the work done in 2 days. They were polite, professional, and knowledgeable of the process to help manage our expectations. They went above and beyond what we had asked to ensure the new grass would not be overrun by surrounding weeded areas. They did an exceptional job cleaning up the area once the work was done. Dante came back to our place outside of normal business hours to help with our maintenance and care plan. We could not have had a better experience and are very grateful for Dante's work on this. read more

I received several quotes to replace my old wooden deck and chose Dante's because they provided a clear plan and a competitive price. They replaced my covered wooden deck with an extended composite deck, and I'm extremely happy with the results. Their team was professional, communicated clearly throughout the project, answered all my questions, and made sure to clean up after the work was done. Didn't have the ability to do what I needed but got back to me almost instantly and gave me a great recommendation!

We bought a new build house and decided to turn most of the small front yard into a garden, which we were going to do ourselves...until we started to dig. We discovered that the builder of the house had just laid sod on a few inches of soil and then half a foot of garbage, old rusted tools, and a ton of old old broken concrete. We used the Yelp request quote functionality to contact multiple landscapers and Dante was the first to respond, within 45 seconds. We had a quote in-hand in a few hours and them scheduled three days later. Dante and his crew dug and hauled off nearly a foot deep of crap, filled with their own topsoil, and planted the trees and plants while they were there. They showed up on time, finished in just a few hours, and cleaned everything to make it look like they had never been there. We're looking forward to using Dante in the future! read more

Love my new fence, grass and flowers! I recently purchased a house and the backyard had been left somewhat of a disaster as well as the area under the front porch. Dante was recommended in a Facebook group and he came out to give an estimate right away. He drew up some great plans and we initially were using him for the cleanup and sod. When we saw what a great job he and his team were doing, we added on the fence and a small amount of landscaping. Everything is beautiful. I'm attaching some before pictures which makes the end result even more remarkable. Dante is also extremely responsive to questions. We are already thinking about next year changing up our front and side yard and will be definitely using Dante and his team again. read more

My turn to write a glowing review of Dante and his crew. I contacted four contractors for bids to build a steel pergola, including matching planters on my roof and to extend the finished area about 100 square feet. And, well, in the end I obviously chose Dante. Price was reasonable, comparable to two of the other estimates, but I really appreciated Dante's enthusiasm and willingness to work with me even when I was still making design decisions. I live on a third floor walkup, and getting the materials to my roof was no easy feat, and the care taken by the crew to not damage the walls, stairs, and also be respectful of neighbors really confirmed that I'd made the right decision. Weather was not our friend through most of the construction process, but Dante kept me apprised of status throughout. He was also very accommodating of changes and requests from beginning to end, even those not part of the original proposal or scope of work. There have been many expletives uttered when I invite guests over, especially those who frequented the space when it was just decking and some furniture. You can see the dramatic before and after photos for yourself. I've already utilized the area to host and enjoy myself more this year than any year before and we're just getting started! I would not hesitate to recommend Dante for any kind of outdoor project. read more

Dante and his team at Dante's Native Landscape have done multiple projects at our home, and every one has exceeded expectations. They've installed new sod in both our front and back yards, added beautiful landscaping throughout the property and revamped our parkway with a really nice, no-maintenance solution that we were looking for. He and his crew even tackled smaller jobs like hanging outdoor lights and fixing our front gate. Dante is extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, and clearly takes great pride in his work. He communicates frequently and clearly, always offering creative, well-thought-out solutions. One great example: when bunnies started eating our garden, Dante suggested planting native flowers with scents they dislike -- it worked perfectly and looked great too. The work was completed on time, with care and attention to detail throughout. We'd 100% hire Dante again and recommend him without hesitation to friends and family. read more

I could not have been happier with Dante's services. I asked him to provide me with a quote for re-staining my decks, fixing my brick patio, putting in a gate, planting some shrubs and replacing part of a concrete walkway. I opted to do everything but the concrete. He had different teams come in for each job and they were all great. It was easy to communicate with him via email - he was very responsive. Pricing was competitive. Work got done promptly. I always put this type of work off because it seems impossible to find good folks to do it and my experience with him could not have been better. Dante and his team did a great job at my parent's house. It was a pretty big job and they got it done well and on time. They completely cleared out the bushes and small trees in front of the house and then removed the stone stairs and sidewalk. Want to give a BIG shout out and RECOMMENDATION to Dante's Native Landscape here in Logan Square These people were AMAZING. I reached out to quite a few landscapers on Yelp and Dante replied back the same day with an extremely professional 3-tiered quote, which was above and beyond what I received from anyone else. I needed help with razing an overgrown landscape bed in front of my house, and his tiered plan included some helpful options I hadn't thought of, like prepping the dirt for planting. Dante was able to schedule the work within about 3 weeks or so of me reaching out, and his team got it done in just a couple of hours that day. Very frustrating experience just trying to get this landscaper to come out for a quote. I reached out on 5/20 requesting someone to come out and quote us for a French drain solution, Bush removal and possibly some regrading. Got a response from Dante, the owner 3 days later. Not a big deal, because it's not an emergency. I give him our information and he indicated that he would give us a call Monday (5/25) and let us know when he's in the area. Monday comes and goes, with no phone call or contact of any kind. I reach out the following morning on 5/26 and ask him if he's still interested in giving us a quote (I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt because Monday was a holiday, maybe he didn't realize it). Dante responds back later that night indicating that he would need to come out and see in order to provide a quote. I responded that I was aware that he needed to come out and asked why he neglected to come out or call to re-schedule the day prior. He responds back with an apology and tells me that he will call back today after 11AM and let me know when he's in the area. 3 hours go by, it's about 2PM now and still no phone call or contact of any kind. I send him another note asking if he's still coming out today. Crickets..... Update: Got a response with a sincere apology and someone finally came out to assess our drainage situation. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will update again once we get the quote and if we proceed with the work. read more
