Spring cleaning, dethatching, mowing, mulching, and some retaining wall hardscape done over the course of a day, doing far better than I could have done myself. This is my favorite part - retaining wall I've wanted to put in myself for a couple years but just don't have the time with a young child, and there is NO WAY I'd have done this will - each brick was even cut to line up perfectly in instances where the brick shape would have left a gap. They were able to get my front yard leveled and install new sod since I had been having issues for a few years trying to fix the grass upfront. During our research, we set up estimates with five contractors, all of whom I found through Yelp. Two of them ghosted me, and one of them gave me an estimate so ridiculously high, it was not even within the realm of possibility. Angel's estimate was reasonable, and when I checked square foot pricing for my area, he was definitely within range. Not only that, when I showed him a picture of what I had in mind, and asked if he thought it would look good, he made some great suggestions, taking into account my budget and desired look. He was always communicative, showed up on time, and left the site totally spotless when they left. The only way I could tell they were there, was the beautiful, even new walkway, and the fill on the side. This might've looked like an easy job, but it called for the removal of an old concrete path, leveling with the front steps (which, on this old house, are part of the foundation), and building an additional step down to the sidewalk. So even though it's not a lot of square footage, it did require attention to detail and skill. It has now been over a month, and this path way makes me smile every time I come home. It's exactly what we wanted, and so perfectly executed. Just incredible. read more

Angel is a very cordial, respectful individual. I hired him do a small job in my yard; laying sod that a party I had at the house destroyed.
