Quality work, complete clean-up after trimming, on-time, fair price, nice workers, also pulled ivy off our house for a fair price

Spent $1,700 with them less than 2 yrs. ago. I thought they did a good job and left the property clean. They removed all debris before they left. When a branch recently snapped but remained hanging from tree I called them. Twice. No return phone call or a response from my Yelp request. read more

Jose provided a fair estimate and fast service - the team removed our dead redbud and were respectful of our yard and other plants. Recommend!!! read more

Another job well done by Jose and crew. We had a large overgrown lilac that needed removing from the yard. Jose gave me a quote and scheduled the job within a week. They were able to dispatch the tree quickly, grind out the stump, and take away the mulch without issue. read more

Jose's Tree Service did a fantastic job. They cut the branches, made sure the limbs were safely lowered to the ground. No branches hit the building. They cut up the larger pieces, loaded them onto their truck, and even came back to rake and sweep everything up. Clean as a whistle! Now the grass will grow! Would definitely recommend them! My neighbors even came across the street to get their business card! read more

Far too expensive. It is far more convenient and less expensive to purchase individual bundles at local grocery stores and home centers. The point of buying in bulk is to save money!!! read more

Jose's Tree Service did a very nice job trimming my Japanese Maple. The trimmers were very meticulous at making sure the tree was shaped properly. They disposed of the branches and raked my yard to make sure everything was clean. read more

I am a firm believer in communication and Jose's tree service failed in this area. I reached out to get a tree trimmed and they said they would reach out. Six hours later I reached out again asking if I should move on, I get text at 9pm that they could come tomorrow at 1pm. Waited around for them and they never showed up. I have no problem if they are busy and they get side tracked or even don't want the job. All they had to do was communicate telling me they couldn't make the appointment. No such luck, thought this was extremely rude. read more

Made 2 appointments but never showed up, never called to confirm. Stay away from this company.

They did a great job! Honest and reasonably priced. Professional in the quality of their work. His crew showed up on time. They did great work and even offered an easy solution for an issue that arose. I would recommend his company. read more

We had Jose and his team come by to trim up some large trees on our property. They were on time, efficient, did a great job, and cleaned up the yard beautifully before they left. Their pricing is competitive and they're super easy to work with. Highly recommend! read more

Jose and his team are the best out there. Responded same day on a holiday weekend to our request and came immediately out to give an estimate. Their prices were the most reasonable as well. The returned promptly to perform their work, removing a large tree from a difficult location, including the underground trunk. They also had to remove a large section of our fence to do this, and carefully and expertly replaced it back when they were complete. They cleaned up afterwards, removing all pieces of wood, branches and leaves. They were so meticulous that there was nothing left behind. They were efficient, respectful of our property, extremely knowledgeable and very kind. We have already planned to have them return to perform additional work around the home. We are so grateful to have found this company! Thank you! read more

Did a great job at a great price! I called and Jose came out the same day & gave me a much better quote than those large tree service companies. This is a family business with fair rates. Scheduled for him and his crew to come out the same week and got several trees trimmed in the backyard. I will be using them for my tree-trimming needs in Oak Park. read more

Communicated via text and did the estimate quickly. Removed a couple of stumps in my front yatrd and a Mulberry tree that was growing between the garage and a fence and was growing up into the powerlines. Very satisfied with the end results and the fair pricing. read more

Responded quickly after my call to trim my neighbors' trees hanging over onto property. Mr. Jose followed up with same-day property inspection/quote via txt. He scheduled the work for a few weeks out. He called and came out for a 24 hr pre-walk thru. Showed up next day within 20 mins of scheduled time. The crew was skilled, highly competent at the job. They responded instantly to any of my concerns while doing the trimming. They cut a lot of tree for the price, now that I'm thinking about it. This is a very hard working company. We just moved to a new house and two large 30'+ trees were damaging our siding and roof, making it easy for critters to get into our attic. After collecting several quotes, Jose's was extremely competitive. Other tree removal services tried to scare us away from selecting companies with low quotes, but Jose's team did a great job. They were efficient and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. We also had them do stump removals for both trees. Jose's recommendation also matched the recommendation of the arborist at Gethsemane who provided some advice as we are hoping to plant new trees in the spring. I highly recommend Jose and his team! read more

I reached out for a quote late on a Saturday. Jose called me Sunday morning, and the firewood was delivered to my yard the next day. They were on time, friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend! read more

We had a good experience with this company. They trimmed 4 tall arbor vitae, and removed a fifth one including the stump. Big crew came right on time, and finished in an hour. Price was right, and they cleaned up afterwards. We had a written contract, and they provided proof of insurance. I would recommend, if possible to alert close neighbors in advance. read more

In 3 hours, Jose's crew completed everything that was discussed and more that came up as the work was being done. Definitely recommend Jose's Tree Trimming and will use in the future. read more

We just had a crew from Jose's tree service out to trim a very large oak tree and a smaller fruit tree that had become entangled in some cable & phone wires. They arrived on time, actually, a few minutes early. They were very professional and cleaned up completely after they were done! I can't recommend them enough. Even more impressive, when the crew was leaving the lead person responded with "thank you very much for your business!", I can't remember the last time someone actually thanked me for giving them my business.
