I normally don't write reviews unless a company does an exceptionally poor job. My belief is simple, when you pay someone a good amount of your hard earned money, the job should be done right. There are exceptions, though, and Lisa is definitely one of them. Obviously, Lisa and her team did a fantastic job with the landscaping. She presented me with three different design options, worked with me to stay within my budget, and then executed the project exactly as she explained she would. She even moved my project up on the schedule after I mentioned I was planning to sell my house soon, which I really appreciated. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. She was organized, proactive, and always kept me informed. It was honestly refreshing. If you want to roll the dice and deal with the same frustrations I experienced with two other landscaping companies before finding Lisa, go for it. Lisa was amazing to work with from beginning to end. She was very prompt in all her communication. She came over and did an assessment, took measurements and gave me several options for general landscaping style. She then took those and made three very detailed designs in video format. From there we went back and forth a few times as I wanted a combination of designs. Throughout the entire process Lisa was patient and also answered several questions I had about plants. She oversaw the installation and came back the next day to tidy everything up. The installation went very smoothly and we are in love with our new front yard and parkway. Even though the contract stated it would take several days, they installed borders and did planting in one day. The arrangements are spectacular. After having to tear up our entire front yard due to a sewer issue, I knew the landscape repair was going to be way past my ability. I found Lisa via a google search and thank god I did. Her and her team are absolutely amazing. She starts by coming to your property to get an idea of what you want. While she does all the measuring (and I mean ALL), she has you fill out a dream sheet to figure out what your taste is. Less than a week later I had several designs to pick from and then could make changes. This video walk through of the design really helped us picture what it would look like. I'm very difficult to work with but she always took it in stride. Every change and last minute change was no issue. As she was picking out the flowers, trees, etc from her suppliers, she was texting us to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. We even were able to reuse some of our own materials like pavers to help keep cost down. Her team works from early morning to well after dark to get the project done. This is the year to tackle various projects around the house. Some of them required a group effort and I had no time (yet had some budget to set aside...not a lot though)! Our backyard appeared pretty sad and uninspiring before because I didn't have much knowledge on getting it together. I went to search on Yelp last year and "Lisa Creative Landscape" stood on top of many listings. I was surprised how responsive Lisa was and has been throughout the process from obtaining a quote, rendering the designs, writing the contract, fetching the materials, to managing the project. Of course it wasn't an exhaustive list of things she did! Ultimately, she showed her care and dedication to her work every step of the way. The construction took about a week, which included putting the new fences up, trimming the shrubs and tree branches, removing a few old features that were no longer applicable to the modern time. She was very hands on and the workers arrived on time every day. She was, and still is, very communicative. She would let you know if there was any change. She was patient enough to answer all of my questions. The project she proposed this year was done earlier than what was expected, which allowed us to have more time enjoy the backyard this season. There are more proposed projects for the next two (2) years and Lisa already had the agenda for us. It was nice to reclaim part of the property that had been neglected in the past. Lisa was a huge help and I am glad she is willing to assist with the pergola and patio constructions the upcoming years. I didn't really compare her quote with other competitors out there, but I felt my money was worth spent that would sparkle happiness constantly. To maintain the vibracy of the plants, she provided a typed instruction and I will be following it closely. Let me start by saying Lisa is absolutely wonderful and has a work ethic that is off the map. I found her on Yelp and decided to have her out for an estimate after reading the great reviews on her work. The reviews did not disappoint and her work is amazing. I've been trying to get this project off the ground for the last 2-3 yrs but finding a landscaper that wanted the job was really next to impossible. Lisa and her "can do" attitude was fearless. My property is below grade from the street and alley so all supplies needed to be carried in. She began with measurements and listening to what I wanted done. I filled out a questionnaire with my wish list and did hire her to do the video design layout which really gives you a good idea of what things will look like. Highly recommend it especially for large jobs. My backyard already had 2 concrete patios with grass in between them. I wanted the grass gone. I wanted 1 patio extended with concrete pavers and the rest of the area with artificial turf. We also discussed plantings in the back yard flower bed and containers. She added 3 Clematis plants with trellises and 3 large containers with reed grass which is tall and sways in the wind. I also had her replace my front yard mulch with fresh mulch. I had many turf samples to choose from and paver & plant pictures from her suppliers. I consider her pricing reasonable since this was a very labor intensive job. Her workers were immaculate and installed everything perfectly. Meticulous in placing the pavers & turf and in cleaning up. Work started in late June and lasted about a week. Every text, email and phone call was answered promptly. No chasing her and she is busy! Everything was spot on from what Lisa originally said. So glad I found her and she is welcome to stop by our house anytime she wants. I consider her a friend now. So glad I found her. read more

An absolutely terrific experience. My yard is stunning and way more beautiful than I could have ever imagined on my own. I was originally cautious and nervous about getting landscaping done because I previously had a bad experience with someone else where everything died. Not quite the outcome I was hoping for. This was an entirely different and positive experience. The videos she created were super helpful for picking a direction, especially from someone who has done almost no yard work. We found a design that I loved that included a very well placed fire pit - I didn't know my yard was big enough for a fire pit! Lisa was very responsive, helped create a beautiful landscape and yard that has gotten me several compliments from the neighbors, gave me all the detailed watering information I needed and did periodic checkups the first few weeks to ensure everything was thriving. I reached out to Lisa in what turned out to be her peak season (late May) because we had an ugly dying boxwood shrub that succumbed to excessive dog pee that we wanted to get replaced with a big boulder. Even though she had none of her crew to help her because they were on other jobs, Lisa still helped us get the job done, removing the old shrub herself and choosing a rock for us from her supplier. We didn't like the first rock so she was kind enough to go back to get a larger (420 lb!) one for us. We love the look of our new rock. Who knew a rock could bring so much joy? One day I woke up and thought that a tornado had carried my townhouse and plopped it down right smack dab at Botanic Gardens! Absolutely amazing job she did. We have these condos in the back of our townhouse with people constantly walking back and forth. It's rather awkward sitting there while they walk by. Plus we have neighbors who have children who are always leaving their toys out, so we wanted some privacy. Lisa came up with a great design that was unfortunately shot down by our very restrictive HOA, even though it looked fantastic. So she came up with another that fit the bill and gave us a nice place to sit outside. And I'm telling you, it is so nice sitting out there now! The planters with a trellis have nice, colorful flowers that provide us with some much-needed privacy. The flowers she planted not only look nice, but provide a waft of fragrance that makes sitting out there a pleasant experience. The dogwoods she planted in the back pay homage to my childhood home on Dogwood Road, and look fantastic. The last few nights, I've had beers and hookahs with my neighbors out there, and have heard so many compliments. I figured out how to play my Playstation 4 through my laptop, and so now I love playing on the porch. But when I'm not doing that, I like just sitting out there with a tobacco pipe and a glass of whiskey and just taking it all in, watching the bees on the flowers, sitting there in utter peace and tranquility. Halcyonic and tranquil, yet not over the top, and not too much, Lisa really came through at a very reasonable price, and was extremely accommodating when we had to make last-minute changes. She even made a video as to what her designs would look like, using a rendering of our actual townhouse! And as great as that looked, the actual job she did looked even better. We're trying to get to a single-family house in the near future, and one can only wonder how much more we can sell this townhouse for with the amazing curb appeal. My wife found Lisa online and worked with her to design the landscaping in front of our house. We chose only plants and trees that Lisa suggested after visiting our property. Within days after planting, several of the plants and trees started dying. After months trying to get Lisa to remedy the situation, she returned to replace two of the trees that had completely died. At this point, the remaining trees were close to dead as well. Then one of the newly planted trees started dying within a few days. When we complained again, Lisa got defensive. She told us these were the wrong plants for this soil type. We pointed out that she chose the plants! We hired a professional landscaper to avoid these types of mistakes. Now we are left with dead plants and trees in our yard, and we will need to hire another landscaper next spring to fix it. Lisa is unprofessional and clearly not an expert in plants and trees. She offered us a Starbucks gift card to leave a 5-star review so I suspect that her rating is highly inflated due to this tactic. read more
