    We absolutely LOVE our fireplace! Our home had an old wood burning fireplace insert and the entire fireplace was an eyesore. We visited the Hearth and Home showroom to pick out the stone, fireplace insert, hearth, and mantel. The staff (we worked with Jim) was helpful and knowledgeable. We never felt like they were trying to upsell or pressure us into a sale. We had our fireplace converted to an efficient gas fireplace and updated the stone. Although it was an expensive project, they offer financing options that made it possible! We couldn't be happier with our fireplace and highly recommend Hearth and Home!

    Highly recommend Hearth & Home! We were working with a separate contractor to remodel our basement, but purchased a gas insert from H&H and hired them for installation as well. Tom was great in the showroom and on the purchasing end; he told us all about our different options, was very knowledgeable, and was quick to call back and get our project on their schedule. On installation day we hit a pretty major hiccup (no fault of H&H) in that we had a blockage in our chimney so the liner could not be inserted. Whereas our contractor basically left us high and dry to figure things out, H&H helped us brainstorm solutions and referred us to an awesome mason to fix the problem. Ryan was great on the installation end. He worked with our mason to get back to our house on specific day to be sure they were able to get the liner in while the chimney was opened up and then again got us on the schedule in a timely fashion to finish the project. In addition to purchasing a fireplace insert, we also ended up purchasing some beautiful stacked stone from them for a separate project. You can see the stone in their showroom along their main counter. Everything went seamlessly with that as well. Very glad we chose to work with Hearth & Home... they made what became a bit of a stressful project with our contractor, less stressful!

What I appreciate most is how easy they make it on me. It's always a two-person team, they're professional, efficient, and clearly take pride in their work. But trust me, you know they were there be the absolutely amazing job they do - they left my grill spotless! So clean I could eat off it! (heh) Two guys spent the better part of two hours cleaning every nook and cranny. When they were done, they gave me some tips and chatted a bit. Such nice guys! And payment was super easy as well (all digital). I'm recommending them to everyone!

    After years of dealing with the frustration of a Pit Boss Pro vertical smoker having horrible…read morecontroller issues (not only with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and a HORRIFIC app) but temperature swings of 20 to 30° range! The controller would know it was 20 or 30° off of desired temp and do NOTHING about it, even on calm windless days! I was at my wit's end! A quick Google search led me to Smoke Daddy. Their website claimed their PID controllers would do a retrofit and keep temperatures within 5°. I wouldn't believe it! I emailed the company and found out there was a military discount to appreciate that we were a veteran family. A phone call later and a very friendly and knowledgeable agent named Daniel gave us a great deal and answered every question regarding the controller for my Pit Boss retrofit. They only ship two-day FedEx and I had it in no time. As a retired mechanic, installation was easy enough by matching schematics with the retrofit controller and the OEM Pit Boss schematics. If you're not good with electrical, have someone who is help you do this. I followed the instructions on operation and ran some bacon through my smoker and it held temperature wonderfully! Not within 5° but within 2° or less! Unbelievable! Also did a burn-off cleaning that was long overdue and it held temperature at 400° within plus or minus 2° for over an hour. I can't believe how good this controller is and the customer service is also top-notch. I can only imagine their other products and service are just as good. Thank you Smoke Daddy for saving my sanity and bringing smoking meats back into an enjoyable hobby again for me!

    Should have read/listened to the reviews…read more So disappointing. Scare tactics and bad service. After their cleaning I found soot, debris and a dead mouse! I was with their technician the entire time, asked why he didn't use his vacuum that he brought and he said the chimneys were clean due to lack of use. However after his "inspection" he had nearly $13000 of "mandatory" repairs needed if I didn't want my house to burn down. Not to worry, there was a $300 dollar coupon if I signed that day. When I said no, they offered to seal my chimney for around $500 if he did it then and there, if not it would be an additional since they'd have to set up a ladder again. Really?? He pushed and pushed, more and more dire scenarios should I delay these repairs. I had to act fast since there was no time to delay due to scheduling. He cleaned two of the 3 flus since one was in my kitchen but I was still charged since he "inspected" it. I got a second and a third opinion. Both of these contractors agreed these "repairs" WERE NOT NECESSARY but should be done however everything was safe to use. I asked for a refund due to the lack of cleaning, scare tactics and poor customer service. I figured it was a long shot but tried, it was rejected. My chimney was sealed and fireboxes mortar repairs without coming anywhere near their quoted price. I'm no expert and don't doubt these repairs should be done. This companies tactic of dire scenario and house burning down compared to two other licensed contractors stating a polar opposite is very concerning. I felt it was a scare tactic to myself and wife to maximize high dollar "repairs". I plan to make repairs but certainly will not be calling them. If you do call them, I'd highly recommend getting a second opinion. Maybe I got a bad tech, the service lady said he's one of their most seasoned. Bad day? I don't know but that was an overall terrible experience. UPDATE Adam thank you but as you were not here, I asked what that meant and he repeated, maybe a bad joke? Secondly, I was with him as I don't welcome strangers in my home unattended which is why I scheduled for a Saturday. My wife was in the kitchen unpacking as we just moved in. Thirdly, I requested to speak to a supervisor but was offered a technician instead. Yes, I rejected your offer for another technician, why would I accept the offer when I I had such a bad experience? Why would I invite this service back Into my home? Lastly, pictures you requested. Perhaps you have done great work over 30 years but the feeling these were fear tactic pressuring and leaving the debris behind is the basis for my review. Your technician saying he couldn't clean the kitchen because you don't provide kitchen service and charging me all while pressuring us to agree and sign for repairs (for a "only today" 300 dollar off coupon) that were very much disagreed upon by two other contractors. Another great thing about a free market system is that I'm entitled to my opinion based on my experience. Perhaps others have had the greatest experience ever, I did not. Maybe your technician had a bad day.
