I bought a speed queen washer from Richmond appliance. The whole transaction was done over the…read morephone. I didn't even have to go to the store. They delivered the washer I wanted and set it up and they were more reasonable than Colders. The Speed Queen washer is wonderful and is designed to last 25 years. The people that delivered and installed it did a great job. Like I said, their price was more reasonable than another major supplier of speed queen washers. I've had LG and GE Washers. They were junk. Our previous washer was a GE front loader. It was seven years old and it needed a new drum which was no longer available. Had it been available? It would've been a $1200 repair. The speed screen comes with a great warranty and as I said it is designed to last 25 years. So go to Ritzman appliance in Hales Corners and buy a speed queen. Or better yet, call them and order it over the phone and they will deliver it without you ever visiting the store.

He sent another associate to help me, and she provided some of the worst customer service I've experienced. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking for the part and told me I should have waited for a confirmation email before coming in. I understand that businesses have procedures, but there were more employees than customers in the store--only about four customers total--so there was no reason for such poor customer service. A simple explanation delivered with a positive attitude would have made all the difference. I chose to pay more for the part specifically because I wanted to support a local business instead of ordering it online. Instead, I left feeling like I was treated as a nuisance rather than a customer. After reading many of the other reviews, I can understand why people have had similar experiences. This was my 2nd time in the store and it will be my final. I have never had someone accuse me of stealing, especially with no reason to do so. It was an honest mistake. End all be all, Greg (the floor manager) clearly hates women, not to mention I'm 8 months pregnant - he confiscated my item (because he couldn't confirm that I didn't take it off the shelf - even though I didn't go near that isle) and refused to refund my $7. He claims because it was in a bag he could not confirm that I didn't take the item that day and "his count was off". Pretty much I walked in and was robbed myself.
