North Shore Chimney and Fireplace exceeded expectations in all ways. When I first reached out to…read morethem, I was nervous: everyone with an older home hears horror stories about chimney repair. Barrett really surprised me when he told me that my chimney was in good order, and only a minor sweeping was necessary (I hadn't had it cleaned in 6 years). We then discussed our options for converting our fireplace from natural wood burning to gas, and it was surprisingly affordable. Even in the summers now, I'm starting my day with a little fire to join my coffee. Great decision on our part: North Shore Chimney and Fireplace provided great value and a great experience. Highly recommend!

He offered to remove his boots as he went to investigate our leaking issues surrounding our chimney. He took thorough pictures and notes on the issues and encouraged me to reach out to the roofers we used over the summer. Just after he left, Luke sent me a quote including his detailed recommendations and pictures/video/observations. I felt respected, heard, and he not only quoted me, but offered to help me navigate next steps with the roofers who need to fix said problems. Because of his professionalism and kindness, I would absolutely recommend him to others and will keep this company in mind for any other needs. If our roofers refuse to complete the job and repair said issues, we will absolutely use QF&CS. I wish I would've had them do this originally!

Charged $704 and no cleaning. I was suspicious so i called our builder who recommended another company. As the other reviews on this page note, i was told by the 2nd company there was no damage and no need for any relining. To add insult to inury they tried to tell me that "relining" isnt as good as replacing the "whole chimney" for $35,000. The 2nd company said that there was no need for any repair but if there were, a relining was about $1,600. This is fraud. And if they say we aren't listed as a customer as apparently they do, I will post the invoice and the charge. Beware.

First before I express my satisfaction with my experience with Pratt chimney repair I want to say…read morepratt chimney repair is the most professional firm I have ever done business with in the last 30 years. I called the morning after the recent Windstorm and the receptionist was polite and professional all business she told me someone would be over to my home to check out the damage in a few hours. Two hours later the owner Steve arrived to look over the damage he went on the roof to see firsthand the damage, he took the damage Chimney Cap with him and said he would try to get a new cap made as soon as possible and have it installed as soon as the cap was made he would try for a fast turnaround time. now this chimney is not the normal size cap it's around 40 x 48 located 40 ft off the ground. the company kept me informed on a timely basis on the progress of my repair. In about a day and a half I was notified that the owner Steve and the crew were coming over early afternoon to repair my chimney when they arrived they went right to work. While installing a new cap they discovered damage exhaust pipes inside the chimney they replace the damage pipes with new ones. The owner crawled inside the chimney and made sure the pipes were repaired and secured. They did install the Chimney Cap and Security in place they put the caps on the two exhaust pipes and then they caulked the screws and seems and they were finished the owner and the crew were professional courteous and thorough the owner Steve has a high level of Integrity. The company provides quality and responsive service I highly recommend them. Steve is the real deal, it's refreshing dealing with a business owner who stands behind his work. Thank you very much.
