I will never come back to this laundromat. The woman working here was unbelievably rude and completely out of line. She accused me of washing "animal blankets," which is absolutely false. I did not wash any animal bedding -- just my regular bedding that, like most people's, might have a few strands of hair. Sorry, I'm a girl and have hair -- that's normal! After I tried to calmly explain that, she kept talking about me loudly to other customers, making rude comments and acting like I had done something wrong. It was humiliating and totally unprofessional. I even checked the machine after finishing -- there was barely any hair in it. She made a huge deal out of nothing and clearly doesn't know how to treat customers with basic respect. If you value decent customer service and being treated like a human being, take your business elsewhere. This place is a joke. read more

This place is clean, and cool! The machines work wonderfully, plenty of lighting, seating, and a folding table. There is even a bathroom for customers, which is a huge plus! With coffee next door, you don't have to worry about crossing your legs while doing laundry. 10/10!!!! read more

I have a been long time customer here. It's a small town laundromat. Most importantly it's CLEAN. The bathrooms, washers, dryers. Maria and her husband are attendants there constantly cleaning up and being so friendly with everyone there. Makes us feel so comfortable. You can find them there pretty much all day. Their number can be found on the bulletin board if you need them while they are on lunch. There is 11 four load capacity washers $6 a load and one super 6 load capacity $9 a load. As of January 2025.. the dryers are .25 cents for 6 minutes of drying. The 4&6 load washers take about 27 minutes start to finish. There's an ample amount of single load washers including agitator washers, and plenty of dryers and counter space for folding. There is two change machines that I have not had a problem with. I come once a week. Last load is at 7pm they close at 9pm. It gets busy open 10 and very busy after 2pm. read more

So apparently Maria will kick you out at 6:50 because she wants to close up early when the sign on the coin exchange CLEARLY says last wash at 7pm (see pic below). I was there prior to that at 6:50om. So what time does this place really close? Clearly, the WRONG hours are posted for this business, and they will force you out and tell you that laundry cannot be done, even if they are your work clothes. Place is dingy, overpriced, and washers have black gunk building up in their gaskets. AVOID THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY DONT FOLLOW THE HOURS THEY POST. read more

Clean laundry mat, fast machines and hardly busy all the times I've come to do my laundry. I've completed 3 loads of laundry in an hour of time. The small and medium washers are $2.50 per load and the huge silver commercial washers are$ 4.50 per load and that holds up to 4 loads in the washer. The washers take about 21min. The dryers are 25 cents for 8 minutes, but you can keep adding 25cents to increase your dry time. Don't you worry need to break $$$ to get change well, there are 2 change machines on the wall to get more change. There are also soap dispensers in the rear of the store. This place is good to go. Unlike other laundry mats the general public that come here to do their laundry are friendly people. It's also nice that the sheriff station is right across the street the deputies always seem to do rounds in the parking lot to make sure everything is safe. Yeeaa I said, enjoy yelpers! read more

I had my reservations going here after reading the Yelp reviews, but there aren't a lot of options in this area. My first visit, I survey the machines, trying to figure out which ones would work. I took a breath, and picked one of the large load machines. Clothes in, soap added, shut the door and dropped my quarters. Success! Now for a smaller load. Picked machine "E". Same routine, but when I pushed the start button, nothing. Kept pushing. Nothing. I moved to another machine, and reluctantly dropped another $3 in it. Yes! Now to figure out how to get a refund on my lost coinage. There was a number on the wall, so I called. I was braced for a fight, but I was surprised to hear a friendly and helpful voice. He said "Maria" was in the area and would come see me. Maria showed up, I showed her the machine, and we tried it again. The perverse washer started with a bit of prodding! I was given a refund, no problem. I was impressed, and will be back again. read more

hours keep changing and really should upgrade to using a card or tap pay system im sure the liquor store is over giving change. more importantly not everyone has the day to do laundry and being that its the only option for people around here, it would be appreciated that the hours are longer especially as the day gets longer... its already a pain to have to lug your laundry somewhere then pay 30 dollars to wash.. when im already short on time but then not to be able to dry my clothes because theyve shortened the hours... perhaps next time instead of black letters to chage on the door something people can see and catches their eye would be extremely helpful! nobody has the money or time to have to load it and wash things all over again!!] read more

Update on prices that I saw in a previous review: the large washers are now $5.50 per load, small ones $3, and now you get 7 minutes of dryer time for .25 cents. It was clean and only a few machines were out of order, I just feel like it is really pricey. Also, I know that HE washers get gross, but the mold on the inside of some was really bad. read more

I've frequented this place because, in the past, I've felt like I've had no other option. That all changed today, though. I will never come back here. There are certain washing machines that don't work. Every time I'm here I end up letting someone know about something that doesn't work, and it never gets fixed. I've probably wasted a total of $20 on washing machines only to find out that they don't work after putting my money them. Today pushed me over the edge because I was forced to use a washing machine that didn't work in the past due to the fact that the ones I wanted to use were taken. However, this issue was almost a year ago, and I figured it probably was fixed by now (there was no sign on the machine indicating it didn't work). I was wrong. The machine stole another $3 from me that I'll never see again, and I made the decision that it was the last time I'd ever come here. How many other times have people wasted money on this machine over the last year? It has to be every single day at least. Why is this not fixed? Do y'all just enjoy stealing people's money, or what's the deal? A place like this would never make it in a big city to be honest. Shameful. You should never push a guy who hates confrontation like me to get online and write a review like this. It just normally isn't my character, but I'm so frustrated with this place and want to let other people know to stay away from here. Drive out of Alpine if you have to. There was no attendant on duty. The machines, restroom, and floors were dirty. None of my clothes were dry after 1 hour in the dryers on high heat. Large washers weren't all that large - not worth $6-$8 a load. I'd rather wash my clothes on a rock in the river... read more

This laundrymat is the only one in Alpine. It is clean, including the restroom! It uses quarters, though lots of them. A basic machine is now $3.00 and the larger ones go up from there. read more

Seriously...what can you say about a laundromat? The place is clean (even the restroom), rarely are there more than 1 or 2 broken machines, there is a good number of washers (in 2 different load sizes) and plenty of driers. A couple of down issues, though: (1) Make sure to bring plenty of soap, bleach, softener, etc. as the coin-op dispenser is usually empty or broken. (2) Bring something to drink or plan to go to one of the nearby businesses to get something. The soda machine was broken for months and finally vanished a while back. (3) There are only 2 small benches that are so poorly designed that a corpse would rather stand than sit on them. Other than that, the place is pretty good. read more

I understand COVID is going on right now so there is a lot of strain on businesses, but this place over charges, doesn't clean their facility well, and lint traps are never taken out. The dryers take absolutely forever to actually dry your linen. read more

Very clean and quiet with just a couple other people in there. Top loads are $2.00, front loaders are $2.50+ depending on the load capacity. Dryers are. 25¢ for 8 minutes. I've used this laundromat before and it's always decent; not super clean, but not disgusting either. I went on Saturday morning, 2/8, and there was a strong odor of garlic that we could smell in the parking lot. I used the washers and put my clothes into the dryers on the south wall, which would be next to the old pizza place. Once our clothes were done, my son said everything smelled like garlic! Indeed, all of our 3 loads smelled so I had to re-wash them at my parents house. I'll try this place out again since it's the only one in town, but what a letdown and waste of my time and money read more

The laundromat. Oye. No one likes it and at one point or another in life, everyone ends up there. In the corner is crazy uncle with his wandering eye and newspaper. The mother chasing her drooling and screaming child. The guy at the coin machine trying and re-trying his crumpled pocket dollar bill for change. Oh, and the teenagers with their fly hovering pizza. Except here. Well, depending on when you come that is. With plenty of clean washers and dryers in normal and high capacity you are looking to pay around two and a half dollars a wash and three quarters a dollar for a dry for about a forty-five minute load to fold cycle. Mostly locals in this establishment that respect its surroundings and are here only to get in and get out. No weirdos hanging around. The restroom never works, so plan ahead. Plenty of space to fold your laundry once your done, and with the cleaning lady in there throughout the day you'll rarely have to worry about dropping your clean items on a dirty floor. There are a few establishments nearby including a dollar store, pizza, deli, salon to name a few. So if you seriously can't sit still for the forty-five minutes, there are plenty of options within the immediate area to keep you occupied. When our washer/dryer is out of commish, this is well worth the drive vs. any other laundromats in the area. read more

I came here to do my laundry when my washer broke, since it's the only laundromat in town. I was able to get my clothes clean, but the experience was disappointing. It doesn't seem that this place is monitored or even managed at all. There are signs posted all over with the rules for customers to follow, but the whole place was dirty, and the bathroom was seriously disgusting- there were no seat covers or even soap or paper towels for washing your hands! I also think it is quite overpriced for such small machines, such a dirty facility, and no air conditioning for hot days. It costs $2.50 per small front loader wash load, and $4.50 for the "big" machines which will fit about 50% more clothes than the others. The top loading machines were $2 each. read more
