I used to be a customer here and stopped when the longtime free dry promotion ended. I think this may have been under previous ownership. I understand the economics and challenges of running a business today, so I just started paying to dry like I would have to everywhere else. And what I noticed was that when dry was free, the time it took was also short. The dryers here used to be very fast. And when I paid, the drying was very slow just like it is at laundromats where some machines are good and others not and you just found another bad one. I don't mind paying, but also turning the temp down or not cleaning the screens and the airflow is less, is too much. Reading these other reviews I notice that recent negative ones (except for the complaint about restroom access) are all from people without any other reviews on Yelp. Previous ownership of this location always had good employees. Maybe that is no longer true, I can't say, but when I see a new reviewer saying someone should be fired, I think it's something else and not a legit review. read more

The staff here are incredible! My family uses their fluff and fold service regularly. Always friendly, quick and have never messed up our orders. FYI, don't leave a card tip, because the owner keeps it and doesn't give it to the staff. I found that out the hard way. If you want to tip the staff, do it in cash. read more

Just sad to say that would be my last time coming to this laundromat is because I've been coming here for years and every time I come here there's some kind of excuse the bathroom out order. I don't know why they doing this but the thing is if you get a laundromat and we're here spent hours at your laundromat spend money please believe it. You gotta have a bathroom for customers. It's unacceptable and the sign out of order on the bathroom for the last two months so you guys don't let people use it. It's very unprofessional. The only thing I could tell you you lost me as a customer. especially when you have vendor machines in your business establishment that you sell snacks water juices, Red Bull instead of how people gonna buy things from you and when they want to use the bathroom and there's no bathroom available because it closed in put a sign on there for the last two months and on top of that to put the icing on the cake, other staff members let other customers go on there, but I guess they're playing favoritism. Clean facility, not the cleanest I've experienced elsewhere, somewhat welcoming environment, and I really like the picnic style tables inside to sit at. Personally I feel like there were not enough laundry supplies offered in the vending (like oxiclean, clorox2, etc) My only real issue was I felt the attendant at the window could have been much more friendly. The roll down door was only half way open and they were eating at their folding table (I understand that though). When I walked up to the window to ask a question, no one walked up to the window to acknowledge me. I was simply greeted with a "Yes?" I'm 6ft and shouldn't have to bend down to see if I was the one being spoken to. Only thing I needed was the restroom key. I was able to get it easily and use the restroom and then return it. Just feel like the professionalism and acknowledgement as a patron could have been better and definitely much more warm and receiving. This is my favorite and go to laundromat in the area! It's amazing, I go out of my way just to go to this one. The employees are always friendly and helpful and they're 24 hours now which is so convenient! It does get pretty crowded during peak hours since this is one of the better laundromats in the area, but there are plenty of machines and they work fast since they're industrial. They have washers that take as much as 7.5 loads and they have big dryers too. They have sinks to wash your hands with soap and there are some tables to sit at while you're waiting. There are also a few arcade machines which are fun to play during the wait as well. There is also a taco shop, grocery store, and Big Lots in the same plaza so you can eat or run other errands while your clothes wash. They have change machines but it's very convenient that all their machines take PayRange so you don't need to have cash and use the change machine. I saw a special that said they can give you the first wash free with PayRange. I already used PayRange prior to this promotion but I thought that was cool. This review is based on the customer service I've had the last time I was here. It was Horrible. I was doing laundry here and take naps in my car waiting for my washing and drying . I woke up needing to use the restroom very urgently and asked the laundromat lady if I can use it. She asked "are you doing laundry here?" And I said yes . She looked at me for quite a long time (keep in mind I really have to use the restroom lol) and she added another comment "I haven't seen you in here" I'm about to damn near piss myself. Like come on lady if I wasn't doing laundry I could have went to Manolo or Big lots lol. You're taking your job way too seriously it's sad. I haven't been back since. I live in El Cajon but found a nicer laundry mat in spring valley I been going to. Like, If you see someone in need and you're able to help them... you should help them honestly. I just moved to El Cajon. I found eco laundry online and saw they had a free wash promotion for the pay range laundry app. I went in and downloaded the app. The free wash showed up in my rewards area of the app immediately. I used the 10.00 free wash to wash a load of blankets. The washer worked really well and the dryers were also very fast. Everything was dry in under 30 minutes. The attendant working there was friendly and let me know that they are now offering a happy hour during the week and that they are about to go 24 hours! I highly recommend this laundromat! read more

I was disrespected by an employee at this business for no reason and it not only was wrong but the employee was unprofessional and rude. And to make the situation worse she doubled down on her disrespect and told me to complain to management like she was untouchable or something, She then tells me she has been working there for 30 years as if that was a right for her to disrespect a faithful and loyal customer. This lady needs to be fired or retrained and take some classes on professionalism. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE. Have gotten to know Steve, who fixes the machines when broken, is very pleasant, and has helped me a couple of times. I just recently moved to the El Cajon area from Normal Heights area. Use to go to THE CORNER WASH, and Eco is much, much cheaper. Initially when I arrived there no one greated me and I brought my clothes in and it was a sufficient amount of clothes it was weighted. And total came to $150..00 dollars. The first thing I asked is for all items to be hanged on hangers , and not folded . And on top of it I left a $20.00 dollar tip it was stated that it will be ready the following day I arrived every single item of clothing except 3 pieces of clothing was on hangers, And on top of that each piece of clothing was folded sloppy and fast and. The only good thing about this place is free drying. 1) The coin operated machines barely work...you have to wonder if your money is going to get stolen. 2) They are advertising specials that they do NOT have. There is no discount wash EVER. 3) The chubby black attendant with the little Afro is incredibly rude. I was there at 9 months pregnant with a toddler. She just walked up and proceeded to dump my stuff that was in my cart onto the FLOOR and proceeded to say "we can't hold onto carts". I was sitting right there and she could have asked me to remove it if that was the case. The funny thing is, she bypassed 3 other people who had their stuff sitting in the carts to do this to me. She never dumped their stuff out nor asked them to remove it. Plus there were empty carts around for others to use if needed. Pictured is one of the numerous carts bypassed to dump my stuff on the floor. After she dumped my stuff, she went back to the employee area. If you have a policy, it should apply to EVERYone. I get increase in prices everywhere, but they use to offer free dying. For the price you pay for the bigger machines the free drying was worth it. Even now they have increased the washing machine prices between 2-3 dollars and now you have to pay for drying. 25 cent for 8 mins only. So if you use a big machine and then need to dry you need at least 30 mins of dry time otherwise your clothes don't dry. This is a big rip off for families. Alsp most dryers dont work as same as manchines. Vending manchines are almost always broken as well as their bathroom. I hate to say it I will no longer come here anymore after 3 and half years. read more

I've been a regular at this laundromat for years, still solid. Ray is the best attendant they've had. She is there to quickly answer customers questions and help if they need assistance. She is a TRUE asset to the business. Lately I found myself in need of another laundromat. The Eco Laundry is close to home and It does offer free Wi-Fi you have to hand your device over to the attendant to log you in. I didn't really care for that very much. This laundromat does offer free dryers and it does kind of make competition for both washers and dryers a little stiff.They have everything available from single washers to six loaders.I've always gotten clean clothes and no matter how crowded it was I was always in and out in a hurry. I came in and place looks nice, Plenty of washers and free dryers however I paid five dollars for a washer #46 to be exact it took my money and froze. I was looking for a customer service representative and I was shocked that this place didn't have anyone here to help its customers. I called the number listed no answer. Well being as this is my first time here and all I can't complain as of yet. They offer these ginormous washers that are industrial sized made to fit up to 7 loads at once for only $5.75. I much prefer this as I hate to sort out individual loads. I have been told by some that the dryers here are absolutely free with any wash and I can't say that I have ever seen or heard of this before. Typically it's the drying that these places makes a killing off of you. I can't much for the area or part of town this place is located in but being a native to San Diego and born and bred here in El Cajon I am very familiar with these streets and businesses so it has never bothered me being out late in the city I grew up in.
