Excellent laundry work, and nice people. Very clean facility they do great work. I recommend them for fluff and fold.

**1 out of 5 stars - "The Hotdog Water Incident"** I don't usually write reviews, but I feel a moral obligation to warn others. I walked into this laundromat hoping to do a simple load of laundry, not participate in what I can only describe as a war crime against the senses. The moment I stepped in, I was hit with a smell that can only be described as *boiled regret*. Turns out, someone (or something) had spilled what had to be at least two gallons of hotdog water *into* one of the machines--and the staff just shrugged like this was normal. I asked if the machines were sanitized. The employee looked me dead in the eye and said, *"It's mostly just water, right?"* Sir, no. It's not just water. It's the liquid essence of meat tubes. My clothes came out smelling like a 4th of July cookout hosted in a dumpster. To make matters worse, the vending machine only had expired snacks, and the bathroom door was held shut with a mop handle. If you're considering doing laundry here, just rub your clothes on a tree in the rain--you'll get better results and retain your dignity. Avoid. Unless you're a raccoon with a taste for nitrates. read more

This laundromat is ALWAYS clean & nice staff in the day and night. they have other options available, as far as payment... But if you use your debit card directly on the machine, it does do a $10 hold fee.. well that's what it says initially your bank will show that it's holding $10 but it only actually hold a few dollars, and it does fall off so you get the money returned on your card in like a week . I do understand the whole fee, because somebody could just run their card, and then they never get paid if they didn't have the money on it ‍ but I recommend just registering on their machine, so that you can get a laundry card and just add money to it. That way you don't have to deal with the hold fee at all . . it cost a quarter to use the restroom, but it keeps the homeless out of there from doing drugs..., I really do enjoy this laundromat and will continue to come here read more

Lakeside Express Laundry Center - Laundromat Near Me - Lakeside, California

Although the machines work well and the place is clean the owners are cheap. It's currently 96 degrees out and they have two small fans going. The place is busy which means a lot of heat coming off of the machines. Do better Lakeside Express! read more

In East county there just aren't many clean laundry facilities. Every one in will cajon i do not like. For me it's with driving a little further to go to this one. It's always clean with plenty of space to cold and do your thing. read more

UPDATE: wow, what a terrible response for a business owner! First of all I arrived at noon, and started calling your business from the parking lot. I physically walked in to the storefront around 12:30pm and I didn't leave until almost 1:00pm.. so you are correct that it wasn't quite an hour but felt like one ;) I stated that I would leave a bad review sharing my experience if this wasn't made right. I was asked not to do so until I was contacted by you (owner). I told her I would only leave a bad review if I was not contacted as promised. The bottom line, I was told to be at your business between 12pm and 1pm and for almost an hour you did not answer the phone or have an employee available at your business for me to pick up my clothing. I paid and tipped and received sub-par service and a reply to a review that could've been positive if the owner had follow through with contacting me, as the employee had promised. Good luck, running your business into the ground! -MR. (not Mrs.) Douglas Paid and tipped for "fluff and fold" service at the time of drop off... first of, it's off putting to be prompted for a tip ahead of this type of service. I was asked to return the following day between 12pm and 1pm. I showed up during my lunch hour and found the business open with no employee on site. I called the business phone number (the same phone number posted as an emergency contact) and nobody answered. I left a voicemail and sent a text message and never received a reply. I ended up waiting for almost an hour for an employee to show up and explain to me that they didn't know I was coming and the phone was never forwarded to her. I was told they would make it right and I haven't heard a peep. Do yourself a favor and take you business elsewhere!! read more

When this place first opened my family loved it especially because there was only one for whole town but now lately it's become crappy Washing machines have pet hair built up a lot, most machines are out of order or their doing there fluff & during the busy times most people come in to do laundry. Basically taking my business else where from now on read more

I absolutely refuse to use the washers and dryers at my apartment complex. I was looking for cheap and fast. This place is exactly that. Pros; Washers of any size only takes 17 mins and a laundry basket size load is $7.50. Normal smaller loads are $2.50. They dryers are what you'll be waiting on the most. The dryers are 25¢ for 6mins. The prices aren't bad considering I normally wash my clothes in one big haul. I'll wash two big baskets, my sheets, comforters and towels and it'll only take me two hours and $30. Cons; The people there can be inconsiderate. Some people WILL take up a whole row of small washers and not even think twice. It's pretty rude considering they have maybe about 12 small ones and only 8 bigger ones. Nonetheless! It's pretty sweet. read more

Always very clean. Upscale Washers/Dryers are outstanding. I will continue to do my laundry there when provided the new WiFi password to customers. It was great to have that connectivity fine for a short period of time. Employee simply says it doesn't work but my phone and laptop see it fine as it did before but the password has simply been changed. Provide your Employees new password to provide customers. read more

When this place opened it was awesome! Machines were fast and they cleaned your clothes well. But, like all places after a while they go to crap. There use to be a lady always cleaning , wiping machines etc... Now there isn't anyone doing that. Several machines not working and the card machine took a man's credit card right now. 4 washers either had a blank screen or out of order sign on them. 2 dryers had blank screens. I understand people cause this mess and break stuff. Just saying I have never seen it this bad. I hope they get someone to supervise it again . I really do love this place and would like to continue to go here. I saw someone posted there is a attendant here Thursday night's.... Well it's 7:47pm and no one is here. read more

I have never liked going to the laundry mat but Express Laundry doesn't give you that typical laundry mat vibe. It's always clean. Never too busy and the staff is always friendly. On top of that there is ample parking either in front and behind the facility, as well as food options in the complex. Not to mention, Jenn is fantastic!! read more

This is, hands down, the nicest laundry center I've ever been in. The dryer at my place isn't drying my clothes correctly, so I decided to come to the closest laundry center to me. I live up the road so it was just a couple minutes away. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. The place is spacious, clean and really well decorated/modeled. The machines are really nice quality and there are a good amount of them, as well. There were about 6 people inside(including me) and I didn't feel like I was in anyone's way or anyone was in mine. I also didn't have to wait for any machine because as I previously stated, there are an amazing amount of washers & dryers! I briefly spoke to the owner/manager of the place and he was very helpful with a parking question I had & also very professional and kind in the way he spoke and carried himself. I definitely will be coming back here as long as I live in lakeside! read more

The staff and service at Laundry XPress are amazing! I dropped off 150 pounds of clothing, towel, bedding, etc. to be laundered. In less than 12 hours it was complete! Everything was folded with care and packaged professionally! I will definitely be using them in the future. I highly recommend their services. they also offer dry cleaning! read more

This place is like lakesides armpit, expensive and ghetto. With dryers that don't even dry your clothes. Horrible customer service

There's no signs posted, but when you use your ATM card they charge you $10! Again nothing posted. The attendant said they would put the $10 back the following day. Which makes absolutely no sense. They take 10$ to make sure you have $2????? Insane!!!° Editing this review, because there were signs saying in emergency call # or go to the cricket wireless store. My husband went there and the worker in there said we had to talk to the attendant back at the laundry. The attendant spoke broken English, but then informed us that the dude was the owner . Instead of dealing with the issue he sent us over to the poor Mexican attendant. What an asshole!! read more

I have been using the wash and fold pick up and delivery service at Lakeside Express and it's been a game changer for me. As a busy working mom I was spending all my time on the weekend catching up on laundry instead of spending time with my kids. I have been using this service since January and I could not imagine stopping. The clothes are washed and folded very neatly and returned the next day for an incredibly reasonable price and picked up and dropped off at my door step. This has been such a big stress reliever for me and has improved my quality of life as a busy working mom. My family has roughly 35-50 pounds of laundry per week for reference, and I spend less than I do on a night of take out or a tank of gas for my SUV. So if you think this isn't doable I would ask you to re-consider and let Lakeside Express help simplify your life. The staff is polite and very communicative about your order and help facilitate any schedule changes. I'm so grateful that I found this service! My very own laundry fairy read more

We do our laundry here and love how clean "Dawn" keeps the facility. She's also very helpful and has a great personality. We will continue to use this place for a long time read more

I was pretty upset the first day i came to wash here because i really needed to use the toilet and the employee there told me i couldn't. it seems as if someone else already complained about it because the next time i showed up i was able to use the restroom. This place is really clean. the employees are always courteous and asking if you have any questions. i live across the street so it is super easy to get to. i did read a review where someone stated that the machines do not wash good, which is really making me question if they used enough detergent because my clothes always comes out clean. i will keep coming here as long as the place is open and as long as i live in the area. as a matter of fact. can you guess where im heading to right after this review.... This place. read more

Due to a remodel, my washer/dryer are not available at home, so laundry had been piling up. I decided I'd give this place a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I went on a Saturday afternoon and thought that it would be really busy... it wasn't- awesome! I used their large washers (3). You could easily fit a king sized comforter in one. And then dried all of my clothes and linens in 2 industrial sized dryers. It was reasonably affordable. I think I paid about $17 for everything. This laundromat is clean and accommodating. They even have a bathroom and places to sit and read. They also have a vending machine where you can purchase detergents and fabric softener. It also looks like they have a drop-off service. read more

I love coming to wash here, it's honestly just faster washing and drying here than at my own apartment complex. Unfortunately lately when I come to wash the ladies that work here washing other peoples clothes use the dryers and they don't take the clothes out when the clothes is finished they just leave it there and hug on all of the dryers so it's just inconvenient and they see people waiting for the dryers but they still don't move the clothes out, kind of inconsiderate but other than that it's a great place to come and wash your clothes it's always pretty clean! I still rate 4 stars (: read more

This laundry mat is trash. The machines don't even give out the soap scent towards the clean clothes and it barely runs right. The machines kept getting money stuck and constantly needed the worker to open it up and give me my change back. Also to consider the worker was really disrespectful as I would ask for assistance as if it were my fault the machines don't work. FOR MY FIRST TIME COMING HERE I AM REALLY DISSAPOINTED. I would rather travel a bit longer to a better location. read more

I was hoping that this place would be nice. It is fairly clean. Very small. Only front load washers. Which SUCK i did 3 loads of laundry. One cost me twice as much since i forgot to add 2 things and i reopen the door to see that even though the water didnt even start running i have to pay again. (my bad) then one load dosent do the final spin cycle. So everything is dripping wet. This is NOT my fault. Now how much will it cost me to dry that load so far 1.50 and not done. If i could make it below 1 star i would NEVER again. NEVER will i reccomend this place NEVER NEVER NEVER. read more

I have been coming to this business for years now and I maybe once or twice had an issue with anything. The place is always clean, Rarely crowded to where there aren't the right size machines available, maybe 3 to 4 times the machine had a problem and if it did usually someone on site to handle the problem, plenty of space for folding laundry, plenty of seating, easy access front and back door parking, clean private bathroom (prepaid laundry card needed for access helps keep the riff raft out), plenty of seating if it's not crowded, hours open are great, grey atmosphere, all my laundry done in an hour and a half and I'm out the door, all your laundry needs in one place. Oh and I have to ADD of all the employees I have ever seen work here Veronica M. Is by far the most professional, courteous, consistent, hard working employee of any laundromat I have been to in all San Diego. I'm shocked nobody has offered this wonderfully woman a job worthy of her qualities. I'm serious, this employee is an asset to this place and if the owner does not bump her pay up to keep her someone looking for an employee that is in my opinion ( and I'm sure I'm not alone) TOP QUALITY. This gal takes the show. Rarely am I impressed with all the categories to rate but she topped the charts. Check for yourself if in doubt. read more

I really appreciate the high tech in this laundromat. I enjoy being able to skip dealing with quarters forevermore. With all technology though there is going to be hiccups here and there. Thankfully there was a very helpful attendant who walked me through the entire process of getting and using a laundry card. As I sat waiting for my laundry to wash, I noticed the attendant busting her hump scrubbing the place top to bottom. I do not get the negative feeling here of wanting to escape with my laundry as soon as I can. I sat back actually and watched the football game not even noticing that my clothes were done drying. This laundromat earned 5 stars from me. read more

Anna always has the placelooking spic n span every day. She very helpful and personable. The best laudrimat in lakeside ...THANK YOU Anna.

Highly recommend this Laundromat! It's always super clean and sparkly! Also the water you choose is hot or warm unlike other laundry mats It's cold no matter what you pick. Love this place! read more

My first here tonight I have to say extremely upset along with 4 other people. The washer do not wash at all no water or soap. The quarter dispenser dispences quarters when it wants and at what amount it wants. There is a number to call when having issues with the machines and they don't answer. The sign with the number also tells you to go to the cricket store if you have issues. The cricket store says they don't work there. Worst experience ever spent 2hrs to turn around and wash 3 more loads and be down $7 not to mention I have 2 children and its a work/school night what to wear now!!! I will never come back, unless it is to be reimbursed!!!!!! read more

Put $20 in the machine to get quarters and the machine didn't work. There was no sign. There were a dozen of customers that lost there money in the machine as well. No employee was there in the laundromat to assist. Try calling there business number and they don't answer the phone. They still have not called back or refunded the 20 dollars. read more
