I had Alex come out to fix my fridge, which was making noise and no longer making ice or keeping a consistent temperature. Since he did a good job with my TV repair, which was done under warranty. This has turned out to be a massive mistake. They said it was the blower fan. They took 2 weeks to replace it, even though I was initially told it would take a few days, and the issues persist. I have called many times to reach a lovely lady in the office and, on occasion, a confrontational man, using the number hyperlinked on their site. I notified them after paying almost $500, the issue was not fixed, and I found a screw in my fridge in my garbage disposal. Alex reached out and apologized for the screw, saying it was part of the replacement, but according to GE diagrams, that is not true. Alex asked if I wanted to be added to his schedule to put the screw back and further diagnose, to which I said yes. I have not heard anything back, even after reaching out again. I have given them plenty of time, and we have been going on for a month without a resolution, but they got their money. Do not go to them if you have an electronics issue that needs to be resolved. They will take the money, not fix the issue, and make you out to be the problem. I will edit this review and update it if they fix this. read more

I had an 65" LG TV go bad under warranty. LG corporate assigned Alpine to perform the work and they did quickly and professionally. The repair ended up requiring a replacement screen and I was amazed that they actually already had one with them as they're quite big and presumably a significant part of the total unit cost. I confess, I'm a TV addict. When my TV stopped working I panicked and called Alpine. I spoke to Husain who was friendly and helpful. He was able to schedule a repair tech to come to my place the following day. When the tech assessed the situation we both determined the cost of repair would be more than buying a new TV. He mentioned their was a larger TV, same brand only newer available at the shop for a third of what I would pay for a brand new one. I decided to go with his recommendation and they were able to install and take away my broken one the very next day. It works really well and I'm so happy. Had Alpine come to repair a Blomberg refrigerator/freezer. They told me i needed new parts. I continually tried to schedule an appointment - they continually changed the story and cancelled or did not show up. They then called and said i needed ventilation and they were not able to help - after 6 weeks. It turns out i did not need ventilation or the parts they told me i did. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They cannot / will not commit to an appointment -- just trying to pin them down to a DAY is next to impossible, getting them down to a 2-hour service window....you'd stand a better odds of being struck by lightning. Twice. While golfing. In the bathtub. If you do actually get a date and time, they *WILL* stand you up. You will not see them, you will not hear from them, there will be zero explanation. The appointment.... Just. Will. Not. Happen. And this will go on over and over and over and over and over, for as long as you're willing to put up with it. It actually gets worse, on the rare occasions they actually *DO* show up! They were supposed to repair a range hood fan; the property manager let them in. I came to find that if I tried turn it on, it blew not one but TWO circuits, all the way back at the breaker, and created sparks at the fan switch! It got no better the next time; the fan came on, but was clearly banging against the shaft so badly I was afraid of getting hit with shrapnel. And now, they've moved on to a simple no-show for the appointment to just replace the whole thing. There is just no excuse for the incompetence and indifference that comes with this place! No matter what you need repaired, you don't need it bad enough to deal with Alpine!! read more

Called to see how much it would be to get a couple pedestal fans fixed. Was told bring them in today and there would be no charge to look at them then the cost of fixing them would be determined at that point. My husband went this morning and now the same gentlemen said it was $28 per fan to even look at them. I contacted the business owner to inquire about TV repair. He kindly called me back, asked for a video of my tv and the problem, and took some time to diagnose the problem. This was in December 2021. It's August 2022, and have not heard a WORD from him. He says he moved out from Utah, but says he travels frequently back and forth. I waited MONTHS for him, because he promised to have the parts, and sounded reliable; like he really knew what he was talking about. Nothing. No calls, nothing. It would be appreciative, kind and professional to notify a paying customer regarding a status. I had to eventually buy a new TV, and could have saved the hundreds of dollars I paid if this person would have ONLY kept his word - his promise to fix my TV. Not good. Not good AT ALL. read more

They were responsive with phone calls and texting, very flexible with times, and were able to a perfect job with a complex large screen panel repair. Fixed my TV same day for less than $75 bucks! Took a power board for a dead TV in on Friday at 11:00am, owner told me he was going to lunch and would call me after. He repaired 4 blown capacitors in less than 2 hours and called to say it was done. Fee was explained in advance and was done faster than expected. Would recommend this business to everyone! Alpine Electronics is the go to place for electronic device repairs in Utah Valley. The work is always solid and they handle a wide variety of electronics. It is one of the few places to get music gear (keyboards, amps, recording gear) repaired. There is always a $50 minimum, non-refundable, but often that covers the labor. Diagnosis is easily half the work in electronic repair, so that protects him from working half the time for free on repairs that will never happen. The owner is friendly, but business-like and matter-of-fact. He'll be frank about whether your gear is worth repairing, although it isn't always obvious without cracking open the gear. He'll give you an honest opinion based on experience before he takes your $50. So if you are not sure, ask him. Utah Valley musicians need to be familiar with this place for music gear repair, though he handles TV, stereos, and other electronics as well. He is an authorized dealer for some popular and obscure music gear brands. Repairs take a few days unless waiting for parts. He does make house calls for some clients, so you may arrive and find no one at the shop. If so, call the business number and he will let you know when he will return. read more

We had a 10 year old digital piano that had the volume PCB go bad, he was persistent in obtaining the right part from Japan, and proactively updated me several times throughout the process by phone. Here's the short version. Don't have him work on your digital piano. Here's why: 1. He was three hours late to our first appointment. 2. He said he'd have my piano repaired by Thanksgiving, and it wasn't. 3. He made an appointment for Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and then called a few hours before the appointment to cancel and reschedule for Friday. 4. After all was said and done, not only did he fail to fix the original problem, the piano keys felt even worse. He had put a thick lubricant on everything that gave the keys a squishy noise, and it felt awful to play. 5. After I opened the piano myself to clean out the thick lube, it felt a little better. 6. And then I called someone more competent at a different company to take care of my original problem. read more
