Can I give negative stars? We tried to use this company for lessons in August; however after paying for 4 lessons the local store had no record of the lessons. I was able to get my money back. Fast forward 8 months later. Tuesday I was charged $184 four times for lessons I did not request or authorize. Customer service would t help me stating they don't deal with billing. They would not connect with with anyone who could and said I needed to call the store - hung up on me. I called the store and had to leave a message for the manager to call me back. Have not received a call back. Today, I was charged $920 dollars for online lessons that I did not order or authorize. I called the store again, and was told several people have had similar issues this week and that it may not be corrected until next Friday (8 days later). This is unacceptable - I am disputing charges through my bank and have cancelled my card so no further transactions can go through.See less read more

Despite being owned by guitar Center, music and arts has a very mom and pop, reel to it when you walk in the store. It is sad that the stores are so small and their selection is so limited by the small size. But they neat stores to go. read more

I love this music store! I've taken the best guitar lessons here from a fabulous teacher, Robin, who I can not recommend enough. Anthony, who also works in the front is always ready to help me with any questions I have about gear or pretty much anything. Sells a lot of brands Ive never heard of but this store is awesome. Deals on wheels I say. Staff is friendly and knowledgable and will help you with anything. Dont know if Dan Yost still works here but he is the guy to talk to. Usually some other dude helps me out. I need to get my guitar re strung but I havent done it. When I do I will go here. Wonderful customer service! Prior to coming to Music & Arts, I had tried in vain to find strings for a 3/4 size upright bass. When I brought the instrument in to Tiffany, she was able to help me order the appropriate strings and restring the bass in a timely fashion. I've been renting a saxaphone for quite some time and me and my daughter are more than happy with the service! In a pinch they have helped me and seed to be understanding as well as polite! We rented a clarinet here for our 6th grader at what was a school sponsored "pick an intrument" kinda thing. Music and Arts offered good, helpful service and had their contracts ready. Whenever we needed the instrument fixed it was done quickly, or changed to another clarinet. No problem at all. Took forever to pay the thing off, but we knew that going in. Music and Arts was always upfront on costs with no gotchas. Our youngster no longer wants to be the new Benny Goodman, but that's life. read more

Know that if you contact this company online they will automatically add you to their email list which sends lots of obnoxious emails. When you click on their unsubscribe link it doesn't unsubscribe you like it should. They have a form you have to fill out to unsubscribe to emails you never subscribed to. I contacted them and they refused to remove me. You have to fill out their form. Super annoying. read more

We brought a French Horn here and they did an amazing job cleaning and repairing it. All at a reasonable price. Very knowledgeable.

These minimum wage wonders don't know crap about instrument repair. They send your instrument to "factory" with benches full of low paid workers in another state who are pushed to the max to "get it done and get it out". Don't buy from these guys, don't let them touch your instrument!!!! read more
