I was having problems with hooking my amp up to my effects processor. Anthony was awesome to suggest for me to not use my roland j48 direct box, because that was what is most likely getting in the way. He even showed me a special setting for my amp as well. They have a ES-335 I was going to buy however they changed the price 30% right before Christmas. Price gouging!! What the heck? I posted this comment on Facebook and they had Facebook remove it because that seem to be embarrassed getting called out. Some way to treat customers. They just want your money. You raised your price by 30% on this item overnight after having it listed at a different price. I did not have a good experience. I'm not bashing small businesses. If I could give Frank and his team a 6th star I would, they are simply terrific. I have an old pre-production Charvel Strat that had a hum problem that had plagued my use of it for years. I had replaced the pickups with supposed hum-cancelling strat-fitting pickups (Holy Grail), rewired the guitar, etc, but with no success. I struggled to get to W. Seattle with the bridge closing, but finally go it to them and to my surprise they called in one day to notify me the guitar was ready to pickup. They charged me a very fair repair cost and to my delight the guitar hum was finally put to rest. Frank is a honest, upright guy to work with, his repair staff (guy?) is a real pro, and I give the store my highest recommendation. Even with the pandemic all around us, Frank has curbside service and greets you with a mask. Bravo! read more

I checked this place out this weekend, after following their progress as an online retailer for the past year. The location is just outside of the W. Seattle junction, but close enough to it that other cool places are still close by. Having seen it on it's opening weekend, I expected things to still be a bit "light" but that was not the case. The shop owner Frank was obviously not going to open without his best foot forward. The guitars were beautifully displayed along the white brick walls. If you're looking for some quality classic vintage gear (amps too) this should be your next stop. Pricing seems to be exactly what it should be for gear of this quality. 9 times out 10 guitar shops are riddled with douchebags. I can't remember in the last 20 years a friendly guitar shop I've encountered in the West Coast. Today I was thrilled with how friendly the staff was today and they had a lot of cool vintage gear. I actually purchased a green Danelectro on a whim and, without even asking, they threw in a free gig bag! It's great to see an epic music store exists with cool inventory. One of the best guitar/music store I have ever been to. This store has affordable starter guitars all the way up to collector items over 20k. I dropped off my old Martin guitar to get buzzy frets fixed and a neck adjustment; guitar was done in a few days and my god did it sound 100% better. I Highly recommend this place!!!!
