    Garlic shrimp....so ono
    Grant H.

We went straight to the food trucks after landing in Maui, as we wanted to try some tacos. We didn't find the tacos right away, but we came across a bunch of other food trucks. I ordered the garlic shrimp at Aloha Thai Fusion because the shrimp truck was closed for an hour, and I'm glad I made that choice. The shrimp was flavored well, and the jasmine rice had some light coconut flavoring. There are a bunch of tables under an awning, and it was a little past the normal lunch hour, so we were comfortable and had plenty of space. I would definitely recommend eating here if you want to try a food truck. It's located right across from Costco.

We've stopped here a few times, service is quick and food is made to order so takes 10-15 minutes. There are no tables to eat at or places to sit so totally take out. I got the chicken pad thai it was good but needed more seasoning and had very little chicken. I'm sure we'll stop again but I'll order something different next time.

This is one of my all time favorite food trucks (and I love lots of food trucks). Catch them at Alanui Ke Ali'i Drive, just up the hill from Kam 1 Beach Park. You can call ahead 808-268-7018 to place your order but I prefer to show up and enjoy a Thai Tea while I wait for my food. Sweet and good to the last drop. Never been disappointed with their great service or delicious entrées. Friendly and helpful in answering questions about he menu. My most recent items have been... Chicken Pad Thai - good serving with fresh veggies cooked just right. Can't go wrong there. Shrimp Pad Thai - an excellent variation that is also worth ordering. Fish Sliders - the creamy mango lime sauce and the mango lilikoi buns make this a real winner. Mac salad and rice were a nice surprise, too. I'm always glad to tip these guys for their great service and more than happy to see that the owners were required to fork over the percentage of tips that they have taken from the workers, along with their overtime pay.

What a good find. This truck is parked in front of Wyndham Resort just off South Kihei. There is a short line but it takes them 20+ minutes to prepare the food because it's cooked to order. We had the grilled fresh fish, basil chicken and wings with hot chili paste sauce. The serving is plentiful and the seasoning is just perfect! The fish was flaky and cooked to perfection and the basil chicken was tender. The chicken wings was crunchy and the hot chili paste sauce took it to another level. As with everything in the islands, it was a little pricy but definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

This was the first Hawaiian meal I got to taste in Hawaii, and it was outstanding! The Chicken Pad Thai was made on the spot; it had a mix of tasty flavors with just the right amount of spices, and the veggies and condiments were fresh. Their service was great! The two people working there were very welcoming, friendly, skilled & kind! Thanks y'all! You rock as a team!

Yes, it is a food truck, and yes, it has been outside our timeshare for years. AND IT IS PRETTY AWESOME! Great Thai food with a Hawaiian flair! The Coconut shrimp never fails to impress and the Pad Thai was delicious. They have spring rolls, fried bananas, fish tacos and quite an assortment of other things. A Thai iced tea was just what I needed this afternoon! Service is friendly. Sometimes there is a line and you have to wait maybe 15 minutes for your food. No big deal and totally worth it. Don't go too late--they close anytime between 7:30 and 8, depending on how busy they are. Highly recommend!

Disappointed.....I followed yelp and people say their Pat Thai is really good and authentic.. far from the truth. They use ketchup on their Pat Thai (modified Pat Thai for Americans). Overpriced for a food truck? Sure but it is Hawaii and things are getting more expensive with this crazy inflation. At least they give you enough portion. As long as you are not looking for Authentic Thai, this place is okay. Maybe other items are good and authentic? Will never know.

Great food truck that sits on street outside of worldmark resort. Many choices to choose from and will not break the bank. Shrimp, fish and other seafood. YUM!!!

When we visit Kihei I always make at least one trip to Aloha Thai Fusion for dinner. I like their menu with fresh ingredients and friendly people. Tonight I had Fish tacos. They were wonderful. Tasty grilled pieces of fish with tangy cabbage slaw with a hint of cilantro. What was missing was a little color, crunch, and the tortillas were not very warm. The tortillas were good but a bit on cold side. Just sayin if you are looking for a five these are the little things important to me. The taste was great.

I should start by saying: the wait staff was fine and I'm grateful they were open (many places in this little food truck cluster were closed). That said, it was very meh food. Everything was cooked well (noodles not over cooked, deep fried items fried well). But it didn't have a great amount of flavor other than salty. As Opal from Opal Thai (Oahu) says: Thai food with no heat is Chinese food. This was definitely a 1:5 on the heat scale (and they did not ask if we'd like heat). No prik nam pla; just sambal, which changed the flavor of the dishes.

Great food, friendly service, and overall a really yummy meal! We look forward to visiting again.

It was a short 5 min hop over from the airport to Da Tambayan Corner and parking in the adjacent lot was easy. All the food trucks are ringed around the central tables and look for the aquamarine Da Soriano truck over by the road. Their food style is Filipino with a Hawaiian twist if you hadn't discerned it from their name. They have a build-your-own-combo grindz menu that you can pick a couple of proteins with rice options or check out the picture menu if you really don't know what to get. My wife went for the combo of Pork Adobo & Garlic Butter Shrimp with Mac & Green Salad, both very flavorful choices. Her friend went double pork action with Chinese Roast Pork Belly & Calamansi Grilled Pork Belly and Pancit Bihon Noodles as her side. The Chinese roast pork belly was as crispy good as any I've seen in any Chinatown. My Seafood Trio had a Miso Glazed Salmon Fillet, 3 Baked Mussels, 2 Shrimp Tempura and topped with Kaboyaki sauce & Thai Chili Aioli. The Shrimp were not the typical panko coated but battered and tasted good drizzled with the 2 sauces. The mussels are topped with a heavy cheesy mayo sauce and baked. Of course, it wouldn't be a Hawaiian plate lunch without a scoop of white rice and a scoop of mac salad. All this wasn't enough and our friend went back to chat with the chef and came back with a double serving of banana lumpia in crunchy spring roll wrap and drenched in heavy syrup. This was an excellent dessert and wrap up to a great lunch. We were so stuffed, we had to skip dinner!

Peeked their Instagram and saw a corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich. Say what? Less than 5 minutes later I was texting my order in. Unfortunately, no one actually ever answered my text (please don't tell people to text if you don't reply). Being impatient, I said screw it and just drove myself there to check. They are located in Kahului Industrial in the Ferguson's parking lot, across the way from Lee Bear's. It's a really, really random spot and parking could be a challenge if it gets busy. If it's slow, you could park right in front of the trailer. The family that runs this food trailer is born and raised in Guam and their menu features Chamorro cuisine like arrozcaldo, corn soup, etc. It didn't seem like it to me at first because everything was so so familiar to me, but my friend who was raised in Guam reminded me of how it's heavily Filipino influenced and mentioned that the grilled cheese sandwich was her childhood growing-up. No wonder (I'm Filipino)... Anywho, got my corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich! The corned beef isn't like your St. Patty's day corned beef, but more like the Palm brand canned corned beef. The bread was also slightly sweet and was the perfect vessel for all this deliciousness. The sandwich was so tasty and had the perfect amount of meat and cheese. Definitely a great way to start my morning and can't wait to have it again. My friend also recommended trying their corn soup & their red rice whenever it's available. Will definitely try those in the future too.

They were quick to cook em up, just long enough for us to buy some pineapple lemonade from the stand next door (Wailemi). The food was MOUTH WATERINGLY GOOD. I cannot understand how they didn't have a long line!! People are missing out here! My Shrimp Dynamite was served in a small container, full of melty mushroomy goodness, with crunchy courgette, shrimp cooked to perfection and a creamy sauce on top. It wasn't as hot as I like, but I only deem something spicy when I can't feel the front of my face and steam is coming out of my ears so perhaps it is spicy enough for the general public. Nevertheless it was DROOLWORTHY, so good I had to share a single piece of courgette with my husband, but that was all he was getting! No more, Nada, nope. All mine!
