The food wasn't at all bad but there just wasn't enough sauce on my teriyaki chicken bowl. With more sauce I'd have given 5 stars. Please don't skimp on the sauce. read more

Macaroni salad was delicious so they either recently improved it or the past negative reviews about it were unfounded. The staff is super friendly but not in an overbearing annoying way. Cool lids for the soft drinks (hard to explain, you'll have to see irl). I got the seafood combo plate and it was filling but also a great price value. Back at it again!!! I had a great experience the first time so I came back to try some new dishes. The line was longer today, but the service was very quick and I didn't have to wait long! I got the beef ribs ramen which had a very flavorful broth and a very soothing effect. Delicious! I also got the Tom Yum noodles which had a pleasant mild flavor of sour and spicy. Surprised mingles very well! Lastly, we tried the crab meat sushi burrito and dang, that was amazing. It was like a California roll, but huge and who doesn't like a bigger version of sushi. Great unique flavor. Most entrees are more than filling. The rib meat, bbq chicken, and breaded chicken are favorites. I'd pass on the fried fish. The beef ramen is also a hearty choice but may not be for everyone as it is an acquired taste. They should cut the noodles more as they're way too long. Incredibly disappointed. I went in today with a friend wanting to get some boba. We were really excited because they've been closed for a while and it was our first time out since the shut down/ quarantine. I was ready for the workers to greet us with the "alohas" and the Hawaiian music playing (it's the only business in town that would play Hawaiian music). There was always a sweet hostess, who preferred to be called, Aunty Kealoha who would chat with every customer and make everyone feel so welcome and at home. The store used to have the perfect "spirit of aloha" as Aunty Kealoha would describe their exceptional customer service before Covid. We were really excited to go truly because we missed to atmosphere of feeling like we were in Hawaii. Instead, we received no greeting and to our surprise K-Pop was playing. Aunty Kealoha was absolutely nowhere to be found...What the heck??? Our customer service was cold and rushed. It was very sad and disappointing. We understood that things would be different because of the covid modified reopening but, if Kealoha would've at least still been there, I know without a doubt she would've kept the Hawaiian vibes going and the changes wouldn't have seemed so bad. I only go to Aloha Express because of their customer service and the atmosphere. I believe that Aunty Kealoha was a vital part of that. Their customer service and atmosphere was what set them apart from other businesses. Without it, Aloha Express is just like everyone else. I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are lots of boba and food options here in town so I will be going there instead until I hear that Aunty Kealoha is back in the restaurant. read more

I went to hawaii last summer and enjoyed the spam masubi a lot. When I realized it was served here I immediately got it. It was soooo yummy. Had a good review of this place but their customer service has gone to crap. I ordered some ramen and boba and then my friends ordered. I waited 20 mins while all my friends got there food. We were waiting to go and I still had not got my food. I went up to the register and asked about it and they said "oh I've been meaning to tell you, we dont have any." I said I've been standing here for 20mins and have to be somewhere and you've been looking at me and you havent said anything. All I got was a refund for my ramen which she should have given me a full refund and a free meal but instead I'm leaving hungry because they didnt have the guts to tell me they were out. This review is specifically for their party trays. I called (a few days in advance) and asked if they had catering trays available for my son's high school graduation. Sure enough, they did! I ordered their bbq chicken, chicken katsu, and macaroni salad - all small trays which are like the half size, deep foil steamer pans. Everything was ready on time. I was able to feed 15 people easily and with leftovers. The chicken was nice and hot on arrival. Their chicken katsu was still crispy even after being transported with a foil cover all the way across town. I called on the day of the party to ask if my sister could pick it up and they said sure, and took down her name. They could not have made it easier for me. My only problem was that I forgot the katsu sauce! read more

I've been here a couple times including today always excellent great tasting fresh food! Very friendly staff and super cute and fun decor. They even thought about the packaging of utensils to go bags which are not your typical plastic bag they give you bags you can actually reuse plenty of times. Very weird environment, i walked in and some girl was helping me and some guy which seemed to be a manager full of tattoos was just walking around staring down the employees in the front, and messing around with a certain employee. This seems like a very weird management issue. When it comes to the food, I had the mix and the beef was quite old. Was not impressed with all the good reviews.
