Reasons ( & I handled to the doctor as the manager Chelsea was useless ) 1) not organized ; 2) rude ( reception of the chandler clinic)  - the one who schedules your follow up...she was the most unfriendly person .. no eye contact and extremely on bad mood; 3) the first scheduler was even worse and made statements such as " I do not understand you .. there is no such doctor ..." instead of... could you spell the doctor's name?"  ... just as I offered to spell mine when she did not know how to write it. She was prejudice toward my accent and at one point I asked her what would be the earliest app with the doctor and she said " I don't know." Extremely rude  & really gave me the impression of not wanting to help to book an app at all; 4) the doctor told me that  my sinus  and symptoms were really severe and to start meds right away .. well, I had to call the following day because my pharmacy did not receive the meds. After  I waited 20 minutes to have a hold of someone, she  told me " well, I don't know who made the mistake" so I asked " do you see the doctors prescription in the system?" And she said  .." yes" so your staff again failed with professionalism . I have never had one single place that I had to beg for my prescriptions; 5) it took me 3 days to have and over 2 hours to get a hold of the "manager/ director " who told me that there it is not a grievance protocol I am not sure what's wrong with this whole organization but the staff need more training how to act as a human being.

Unfortunately, We had a bad experience with the front desk and there seems to be a huge disconnect between the providers and staff in the office recently. I called to get a note about my child's emergency plan for school. We had been seen in the last year. I asked for a note to be faxed and was told it might not be possible but someone would call me. A week went by no one did. Meanwhile my kid is in school with no emergency plan in place, which felt really unsafe. I call back. I was told we were "overdue" for an office visit. That was not the case. We follow up yearly. Still, I agreed to schedule. On the day of our visit, I was called and asked to come in earlier than our appointment (which I had scheduled after school) to accommodate the provider's schedule. I ducked out of work and pulled my kid out of school. We come in to the office only to be told by the nurse we could have handled the whole thing over the phone without an office visit. I appreciated her offer of a note without paying for an office visit but we had already made the trip so we saw the provider. She ordered lab work. The office hasn't called with results or to schedule a follow up. I'm sad that dealing with the office has become such a hassle and that there seems to be so little respect for patient's time. We love Dr. Rishi and really trust her but we'll likely use our PCP from here on out to manage things.

So I asked him if he could show me the results of my angiogram and explain to me what he was looking at. I got up and told him that we could reschedule to another time when he has time for me. He started to make excuses that he needed to go help he friend, so I told him, you have time for your friend but not your patience? So I said what kind of BS is that! By this point I had already lost my cool. So I asked him are we going to sit here and argue or are you going to explain to me what you are supposed to do as it is you job! Then he looked at me and said " you know what? This conversation is over" so I opened the door and started to walk out. He stop my wife and was telling her to follow up with my cardiologist. I truly appreciate all the help they provided me in my situation. However, if it was not for them, I am not sure I would given past one star. The initial intake visit was alright, minus being told that I am too young to have any real heart issues or any complications from Covid vaccines (even though many of my peers and family have been dealing with heart issues as a side effect). Brushing a patient off because of age is not quite a good practice. Here's where my experience continued to decline. I do not live in Arizona, so I ended up traveling back home soon after completing some in office and at home tests. I wanted those tests sent over to my PCP at home so she could review them when I went to my routine check up with her. I was told that the doctor would refuse to release my results to me (or anyone) before I have a follow up visit. This was the first major point of concern because I am not entirely sure that is legal given that I paid for these tests. So I am forced to do a call visit where the staff is running late so I tell them to take their time. Then the NP gets on the visit and tells me that there is no time to complete the proper duration of the visit because I am late to the call and she has someone after me. Bear in mind, I cannot be late to a call that I have not received. After some more wasted time, she says she will complete the call. I had to press them on the call to send me a copy of my results so that I can actually follow along with the reading, as this was an audio call not a video call (yet being charged as a full doctor visit). Words cannot describe the insanity of that. After going through the visit to be told that my results are fine, something that could have been emailed or sent as a voicemail. Doctors have a habit nowadays of charging you for doing minimal effort work, and charging you unnecessarily for things that do not require a visit. In my case, my results were refused to be released to me until I paid them more money for a follow up visit, that once again, was absolutely unnecessary. I have doctors of my own that I truly appreciate for running an honest practice, I can't say this is one.
