Everyone was professional and nice. I was provided with a complete written schedule of my med plan.

This is by far the worse managed medical facility in Arizona I had ever visited. As to why they are still in business is not clear to me. The only very clear for me is that they are greedy individuals and all they care is your money. Dr Shah has a feeling of greatness and looks her patients as low class citizens, very low empathy. I was stuck with her practice because I needed a heart pacemaker at the emergency room hospital and she was the only option. After a year or so I went to a different cardiologist, very glad I did. read more

2 hour wait for initial appointment. I found Dr. Shah to be abrasive in her approach and found her referencing how "she makes more money, if I do well, and that her staff needs to be paid and they have bills " inappropriate and off putting. When staff administered the EKG, the equipment was observed being held together with Koban tape, that was a complete 1st for me and definitely leads to questions regarding the equipment being used. First of all hire a receptionist that actually greets your patients instead of acting like we're a bother when coming in for an appointment. Then lets us stand there when trying to make an appointment at checkout. She was so rude and unfriendly. Could definitely use some customer service training!! My appointment was at 10. I got there early like they asked, I even had my paperwork prefilled before arrival. I got called into the room 45 min after my appointment time. The doctor didn't come in until 11:30. The doctor asked me questions and didn't even give me a chance to respond or tell her what was going on. I was having a hard time remembering and stuttering. She asked me what insurance I had and said that's the worst insurance anyone can have. Which is BCBS. Never had a doctor ask me that then finish so quickly after a comment of we don't make money off of these types of patients. Most cardiologists won't see people with Potts they take to much time and don't make money. She then made another derogatory comment of why do you keep looking at your mom? You're an adult and can make your own decisions. Mind you if you weren't 1.5 hours behind and listened to your patients you'd know I had a seizure. Instead of treating patients like a number take the time to get know them, their symptoms and needs. Her personal cell phone kept going off. Then she proceeded to get bitchy with my mom and jumped down my mom's throat. She was only asking for clarification because she talked about me going elsewhere. Needless to say we left the room more confused than when we went in. No answers.' What happened to compassionate and caring doctors that give a damn. Instead of caring about the amount of money they make and that they can charge insurance? I was told my orders would be sent to the local hospital and they were never sent called the next day to see if they could refax them. I was told it could get done after we got off the phone. I waited until late afternoon and it still wasn't done. I called again to get my user name so I could print my orders and office note. The girl who answered the phone sent me to someone's voicemail. Left a message hoping to get a call back. Nope nothing tried again about a hour later they sent me straight to voicemail again. Next thing I know I'm getting a email after one appointment which was a letter from the doctors family member with the same last name by his personal email address not even the business email discharging me as a patient. I asked my husband to call to help me get the user name. They also sent him straight to voicemail. I do not recommend this business especially if you're having chest pain and want to get some help. I guess because I'm a "Potts" patient and we don't bring money in we don't matter. Mind you I've never been diagnosed with this disease but told my Dr. Shah after only meeting once and her in the room less than 20 minutes without her even letting me talk. Ha what a joke! Save yourself the time, a headache and hassle, go elsewhere. Your heart will thank you! read more

the tech's and doctors give very thorough exams, and all the staff are easy to talk to.

She's a good listener and answered all my questions in plain language. She seemed very professional and thorough.

Dr Shah is my father's cardiologist and as a Physician we think she is wonderful. However, her office process has been on the way down recently and does not seem to be improving. The individuals that take your initial BP readings etc are not rude per se they just do not demonstrate any empathy at all. I can understand if they are busy but that's a staffing issue and should not be a poor patient care issue. And when it comes to matters of the Heart, empathy should be their primary objective. Then unfortunately it does not get better with her newest Physican Assistant. The same lack of empathy and little to no adequate communication. It's like she is never prepared when we come for a visit. She has the chart, she knows why we are there, but it feels like it's our first visit and they have no patient history. We would be happy to wait an additional 10-15 minutes while the PA reads his chart and is prepared for his visit. I'm really hesitant to write such a poor review but it's the same poor patient care process over and over. Again, Dr. Shah is a remarkable Physician, but it sure feels like that remarkable skill begins and ends with Dr. Shah. Her knowledge, skill and empathy are not translated to staff and then on the patients. read more

Really terrible experience. From missed tele-health appointments, to the rudest of office mgrs. ever encountered, to a doctor that does not communicate anything - this place was such a terrible decision. To top it off, in order to get copies of the results you have to send a FAX!! Who the heck even uses fax anymore? They would not accept a phone call or an email to get the results. Going to try going into the office to get the results, but not expecting much. For something so important, you would think the place would actually care about people. This place does not! read more

Writing this review is extremely bittersweet for me. Dr. Shah and her team are exceptional, but needing a cardiologist in my early twenties has been a little nerve wrecking to say the least! Thankfully the people in this office have done a great job of putting my worries at ease. I started seeing Dr. Shah after I experienced what I described as heart attack like symptoms that sent me to the ER. As part of my discharge notes, the doctors there highly encouraged me to follow up with a cardiologist and recommended Dr. Shah. The office was able to get me in within a few days, and by the end of my appointment I had a set plan and schedule that we are following to figure out what is going on. Dr. Shah is very direct and does not beat around the bush and that is something I greatly appreciate. So far I have had nothing but great experiences and will update my review should that ever change. read more

I was looking for a good heart doctor since moving here. Dr Shaw is very thorough. I feel that all aspects of the heart are being checked through the various tests. Front desk is always very friendly. Dr Shaw takes the time to listen to me as the patient. I highly recommend them. read more

Dr. Shah and her staff are amazing. She always takes the time to fully explain what is going on with your health and makes sure that you are fully satisfied with the service and answers to your questions. I have been seeing Dr. Shah for a couple years now and always appreciate her thoroughness and kind approach to her patients. Today was my latest experience having a loop recorder implanted. She made sure I fully understood what she was doing and asked how I was doing every step of the procedure. I was referred to this practice by my primary care doctor. I called for an appointment and was given a 1:30 appointment for the following week. I repeated it back to the receptionist to confirm. There was no reminder call from the practice. I just showed up for the 1:30 appointment and was told my appointment was actually for 12:45 and they could not see me until next week. The desk staff had nothing to say when I told them that was not the time I was given. They didn't care. My doctor is in the same building so I walked to her office, got a new referral to an office that squeezed me in tomorrow morning, and then they told me that I was the third patient in the last week that had scheduling issues with this practice. Thankfully there are many good cardiologists in this area so there's no need to use a practice with such poor front office staff. read more

Mixed feelings about this practice. I think Dr Shah cares and is a good surgeon. However I was ill informed about an ablation I had. She got me in in a hurry but I should have asked more detailed questions. The results have been disappointing to say the least. After the procedure I was given two new drugs. I called on day two to tell them via message I was not tolerating the one drug especially. No call back. The NP apologized when I saw her. She said I could cut the other drug in half because it made me sick. A few days later I left a message to have a new prescription called in because I couldn't cut the pill I had in half without shattering it. No call back and no prescription. Disappointing!! I will see Dr Shah today hoping for some answers. read more

Dr. Shah is totally AMAZING!! I couldn't imagine a more dedicated, more intelligent or a more compassionate doctor. She is determined to find out what has caused me to have an abnormal echocardiogram. And I am confident she will. She spent a ton of time with me as if I were her only patient ( with her waiting room so very busy & doing hospital rounds that day) She is also treating my husband after his heart attack. I feel assured that Dr. Shah is quite capable as a cardiologist. She does explain things well. But, two times I've been scheduled for a telemed just to go over menial items; first time for my telemed she was 2 3/4 hours late for this call. It would have been extremely thoughtful if the staff would have called me in the morning to either reschedule or to let me make the decision to keep waiting since it was apparent she was already going to be 1 1/2 hours late (she had a procedure that lasted longer than expected in the morning). This definitely put the schedule behind for the day and should have been quite apparent to the staff. Six weeks later, we were to have another telemed at 2:00 and again at 5:00 I called the office, it was already closed and I still hadn't had my appointment. Both occasions I had to find someone to pick up kids from 2 different schools so I wouldn't be driving and having this call. I too have a schedule to keep. Something needs to change here. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Shah for 3 years now. I am thoroughly pleased with her work as well as Krupa Shah. She helped me out with a few heart issues. My only complaint is the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. It is virtually impossible to speak to the Dr or an assistant without leaving voice mail and hoping for a return call. The office staff are not compassionate with your needs. It can take days to actually speak with a Dr. or an assistant and when you finally do, they will promise to help you with your issue but as soon as you get off the phone it seems that they go to the next call and forget what they spoke with you about. I was extremely taken aback by the unprofessional attitude of the Doctor here(Dr. Shah, specifically). After waiting in the room for over 45 minutes, she came in and told us that the other office she worked at was running behind so that made her late. She was very pushy about a test for my wife that she didn't want by saying things like, "Don't you care about your health?" and "You should be grateful, you live in America and have this option." The front desk workers and nurses were very polite and seem to do whatever they can, James especially was very nice and empathetic, but the doctor and wait time were just not great. read more

This is the BEST EP I ever seen! Dr Shah is an amazing doctor and human being! I have seen 2 other EP's over the years and she is by far the TOP in every way! She explains every detail and step of her treatment plan, very detailed oriented and has gone so much further than any of the 2. I feel so cared for! She is very warm and caring in her approach also, genuinely cares about her patients health. She does not rush you out the door either. Her staff is also amazing, they are all highly trained and remarkable people. You don't have to wait long hours for your appointment either. They have the scheduling down very well in my opinion. I disagree with Andrews review. Dr Shah deeply cares for her patients and wants the best for them. She gives them all the time they need and is always available. I've had heart failure for years, among other things and she is the first to actually look at everything and offer help. She explains everything. I went with my Mom for a consultation for a cardiac procedure and never got seen. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour, then another hour in the exam room. The staff kept poking their heads in apologizing and saying she would be in to see us in five minutes, and she still didn't show up. Then she went into the wrong room, were fed up with the wait and told them to cancel the appointment. The waiting room and exam room chairs were all old, uncomfortable and dirty, and the clinic itself was in bad need of cleaning. Lastly the water dispenser was full of rusty water. read more

Terrible gave me the wrong test results papers and then refused to give me the right ones unless I paid another few hundred dollars. First I was given a 2 yr pediatric results, then a report saying the dr spent extensive time with him......I am neither and never even saw the Dr and all the health history was wrong. I did the tests they required but now they wont provide my dr with the right results. Yeah not good. Would never go back here they dont know what's going on read more

This office is a joke. Appointment times aren't respected as I have been waiting for 1.5 hours & haven't been seen. The receptionist is extremely rude & not helpful - she keeps disappearing to the back office to avoid talking to upset patients. I wouldn't recommend this office unless you have several hours to devote to waiting & not being seen because the Dr left & having to reschedule. read more
