New patient, here. Impression: professional, thorough, punctual, AND they listen to their patients. Just changed cardiologists to start coming here - so far, Dr Ambrosia and the staff have been kind, pleasant, knowledgeable, informative, and willing to work WITH me. The very large cardiology practice I left, to come to CVAM, did not listen, made inaccurate assumptions about my case, talked to me condescendingly, and was closedminded + a wee bit confrontational when I asked if there were any natural options available (re: combining natural & pharmacological therapeutic approaches)... that, on top of treating me like a number on an assembly line and a way to incrementally push drug sales (context: I have working professional knowledge of how pharma-driven incentives often work). My Functional Medicine /family doctor pointed me toward CVAM, to address my cardiac health more holistically - so far, this feels like the right decision. read more

Awesome, caring, helpful techs I had three different procedures /tests and each one had a different tech. They were all wonderful! 1) nuclear stress test; 2) echocardiogram, and 3) venous ultrasound (not sure of the name). I would highly recommend cvam! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Desai and Dr. Ambrosia! Last October I was hospitalized for super high blood pressure, and was diagnosed with global transient amnesia. I literally lost five hours of my life, frightened my family, and the hospital recommended that I needed to see a cardiologist to figure out why my blood pressure skyrocketed the way it did. I first met with Dr. Desai, and he spent so much time with me, getting a better understanding of not only my health, but what could've possibly led to the high blood pressure. He suggested a battery of tests being done, all of them came back negative, showing I was in great health. The last test they did was an ultrasound of the renal artery to the kidney. That is where he noticed what looked like narrowing and so he had me schedule an appointment for an angiogram to get it checked out. Got out of the procedure last week which Dr ambrosia performed, no blockage just a curved artery so no stent was needed. The reason for my glowing recommendation is due to the level of care I received and the level of support, compassion, and understanding both of these doctors gave me. One of the most disorganized cardiology clinics I've ever seen. Total failure. On my first visit I asked Dr. Soroff to transfer my medical records from Tacoma Washington with 10+ years of medical history. Came back in a few months later to find they had not transferred them. I then communicated that I want my heart records transferred to AZ from WA. I then met with one of their team members that told me she would prioritize the transfer and make it happen. Made an appt to see Dr Soroff one year later only to find out she was not with CVAM any longer. So booked an appt and was placed with Dr Victor Sein. When Dr Sein walked in to my room, I asked him if they now had my records from WA in their system. He stated "No", we have none of your records. I explained to him that I've been asking for them for over a year. He seemed to get offended, snapped at me: "Jerry, this is the first time I've met you. I don't know anything about your records." Not exactly a problem solver. That same day, I personally called my former clinic in Washington and within just a couple of days, I had all records forwarded. Seems to me that having 10 years of cardiology and patient history would help with my patient care. Apparently CVAM and Dr Sein don't feel the same way. I think they need to regroup, take a hard look at "why" they exist. Stop herding and cramming as many patients as they can through their doors each day. It all starts with people. And the care and respect they are given. Everything else is second. read more

I had an issue at the Williams and Val vista location I had addressed my issue to simeon , Simeon and Rebecca both addressed the concerns/ and problems and went above and BEYOND for me Rebecca was amazing and even met me for my appointment and took Time out of her day and made sure she was there!! I couldn't be more thankful on how the situation was handled I ended up coming back for another visit at the baseline and pierpoint drive and I loveddddd it there!!! I give 5 stars to the doctor. I give zero stars to the staff and their answering service. CVAM don't answer the phone EVER or at least when we call. They have an answering service that answers for them or you have to leave a voice message. We called the office on Monday (1/16 7:45 AM) as the office instructed us to do a week earlier to see if my husband should go back on the medication the medical assistant told him to come off a week earlier. It's now Wednesday (1/19) and still have not heard back from anyone after multiple attempts to reach them. Yesterday (Tuesday) we went into the office to try to talk someone since no one had called us back. We were told they would call us that day and we were not surprised that they didn't. We called again at 8 AM this morning and again just a few minutes ago and we finally spoke to someone. (It is now 3 days later Wednesday 1/19) I asked the person on the phone if they were an answering service. She said yes and that she messaged the nurse while we were on the phone and the nurse said it was not an urgent situation. I would like to know how the nurse knows it's not urgent if no one calls us back. It's just unbelievable that a patient needs to experience anything like this leaving them with unnecessary stress. Also note that when my husband called the office a week and a half ago to let them know he was having bad side effects to the medication he was prescribed, it took them 3 days to get back to him at that time as well. They have no urgency to the patient. The message they are sending is either that the patient is not important or they are just too busy for more patients. Update : while writing this review the medical assistant called us. She received the information to call my husband back at 6:14 AM yesterday morning. I asked why she is only calling back now and her answer was she was busy doing other things. The medical assistant transferred us to the CEO to make a complaint where of course we got a voice mail. Her voicemail says she is out of the office November 21-28 th. That was 2 months ago so that should give you an idea of how they operate over there if the CEO does not update her voice message from her November vacation. Very disappointed and I hope that they can straighten their act out cause he really likes the doctor. Thanks for reading. read more

The Doctors are First Class here... the rest of this outfit is horrible. I recently returned to be treated there after a couple years. When I returned I found that I had a balance, which makes sense and I don't deny that I owe the money. I was provided with a name and number to call. After speaking with the "Director of Revenue Cycle" we made arrangements to pay monthly until the balance was paid in full. (Last payment scheduled in June). I had an appointment for a monitor scheduled in early September, on the day before the appointment I got sick and thought it may be Covid so I canceled. Upon calling for a new appointment I was scheduled for the end of September, I wrote this appoint in my notebook and put it in my phone calendar. Upon arriving for this appointment I was told that I had the date wrong and that it was for the end of October.. I know what the scheduler told me and I had clarified the dates with her. I also would have questioned why it was going to be nearly two months just to get a monitor??? Whatever.... So I show up to today's appointment and am immediately met with a paper that has an outstanding balance highlighted (I am in fact responsible for this and do not dispute these charges in any way). However, when I try to explain that this was taken care of, I am very rudely informed that there is not any payment arrangements annotated on the account and therefore I need to pay it in full. The guy could care less... well if I could have paid it in full I would have in the beginning and not made arrangements. The guy didn't seem to believe me and just handed me the card for the same person we had already made the arrangements with. Not his problem... so I can't be seen until it is paid in full... okay cool, then why didn't they tell me this in the very beginning? Why the obnoxious behavior? I am starting to remember why I stopped going to this Doctors Office. And no, I won't call you to discuss it... I am done wasting my time. read more

The entire staff from the front office admin to the doctor were rude. Dr. Grossman walked in the intake room and rather than being polite and giving me a cordial greeting, he lectured me on how I was wearing my mask. Then he proceeded to go on a tirade about COVID and the pandemic. Additionally, he asked the same questions that I had just answered in my new patient paperwork as well as what I went over with the Medical Assistant. Come on, the least you can do is spend a minute or two reviewing the notes in your patient's file before entering the room. What a waste of time and energy. I do NOT recommend this place. read more
