After falling a few years behind in my heart care, I had a few things to catch up on. Dr. Daliman explained the importance of keeping up with my checkups. After a stress test and echo exam, fortunately, all was well. The entire staff was wonderful from the check in; the nurses doing the preliminary checks, Dr. Daliman, the technicians doing the fancy tests and finally nurse practitioner April Timmerman with the follow-up exam. It is subtly reassuring when your follow-up exam can be "passed off" to the nurse practitioner. April is 100% capable, but I have a feeling Dr. Daliman would have handled the follow-up,had the tests not gone well. Anyway, everyone was great. read more

I would like to share a story with you. When you are past a certain age, the questions a Doctor or Nurse who is reviewing your chart, ask me if I've ever had any heart issues? I smile and say, "It has been broken a couple of times!" Present Day, my first time in an Emergency Room. The smile has wiped away from my face. I know that something is seriously wrong. Dr. Kargoli, MD. Interventional Cardiologist was on call at Banner Baywood Emergency Room. My first impression was this Doctor had such a genuine COMPASSION, WARTH, KINDNESS, combined with CONFIDENCE as he began to explain what was happening. Dr. Kargoli as he explained I began to understand that all of my first impressions didn't include what's most important, KNOWLEDGE. Since that first visit, Dr. Kargoli has continued with my follow up care. CVAM - MESA My personal experience with CVAM -MESA has been EXCEPTIONAL. My appointments are on time, the staff has always been friendly. The location is convenient, plenty of parking, the facility is clean, fully staffed. It was easy to book an appointment for the date/time that worked best for me. The previsit wait was minimal, as was the wait to meet with the cardiologist after the staff gathered necessary data. I saw a tech named Al. He tweaked my defibrillator and pacemaker. He answered questions that I needed answered. I've had a lot of fears of going into cardiac arrest with my recent health issue. I started here3 years ago. I was pretty freaked out then after my heart attack. Dr Desai was very understanding. Now I mostly see Seth. He is wonderful! Patient, kind and explains everything well. That 1st year was tough for me. I remember peppering him with Q. I would have been frustrated with me. As I calmed down through time, I'm so grateful for these doctors. I have trust issues, but I trust them completely! They ask Q and listen. So important. The staff is equally wonderful. I never met an MA I didn't like. Ever since they moved into their new location I have not liked it. I went there just the other day for a follow up after a procedure and I went through the process of checking in which is also a pain in the ass. Anyway I went through the process and it didn't charge me a copay because it was a follow up but as I was sitting there I was called to the window and told I have to pay a copay. I told the girl why didn't the check in computer ask for a copay it said it was checking to see if I had one and it told me to take a seat. The bottom line is since they moved into the new location there service seems to suck. The only reason I stay is because I like my doctor but if he ever leaves so will I. read more

The building is not that large, so there is easy access from the parking lot to the offices. All the staff members I have met have been courteous and helpful. I just had a couple routine meetings with a doctor, so I don't feel I can comment on the quality of care yet. read more

The care I receive at CVAM is good quality and I trust the medical staff. Sometimes it can be overwhelming for someone my age. However, the staff tries to make instructions the process as clear as possible. I was experiencing some heart palpations on my last visit. Brandy, the PA explained that my EKG was reflecting some abnormalities. She explained it well by showing me on the EKG where the abnormality appeared on the graph. So far, I have been please with my visits to CVAM. I don't see the doctor as often as I think I should, but that could be because of the insurance I have. I am not saying that Brandy is less qualified because I think she does an excellent job. She has great bed-side manner. I also appreciate the young lady that checked me out yesterday 9/10/2026. She thoroughly explained my up-coming tests and the process for obtaining them. So my, five-star review is most definitely deserved by the staff at CVAM. Dr Kargoli saved my dad's life in August of 2025. He embraced our family and took exceptional care of us. Dr Kargoli actually cares. Dr Pinico, also is sharp and phenomenal. I decided to have my husband see Dr. Kargoli recently. He needs surgery, and nobody is allowed to touch him but Kargoli. Dr Kargoli takes time to answer questions, listen, and educate family members. Just finished my first office visit with Dr Tandon & the staff at CVAM Baywood yesterday. I am seriously quite impressed with him and all the staff. It has been a long time since I have felt this heard and cared for by a Cardiologist Team. Before I left the office I was already scheduled for an Echocardiogram & a PET/CT of my heart. Today I had a call from Jen about the insurance authorization for my Loop Recorder that needs to be inserted, and another call from the RECORA Cardiac Rehabilitation program. I've been going to CVAM for over a year, referred there by my PCP who did not really communicate why I should see a cardiologist. Had an echocardiogram in 2025, PA went over the results in relatively vague details and said "see you in a year". Had a new "annual" echocardiogram 2 months ago. Different PA gave me the results. Reported that I have an aortic aneurysm that has grown rapidly (nothing was told to me about this in 2025). Researching and personal knowledge of this condition caused great alarm. BP meds were prescribed. Meds have had little effect. Reported numerous times on patient portal and called several times. Finally got a phone call back 5 days after first report. PA on the phone said she had to check with the Dr. and get back to me. 4 more days of waiting until I called again. Another med prescribed. 2 weeks later, NO change in effect and no response from CVAM. I am now switching to Banner Heart and hope that I have been response and my questions answered. read more

After having been a patient of CVAM for several years, I have the utmost of confidence in the entire staff as they monitor all aspects of cardiology for this 73-year old man, including a DVT in my left knee. My dad's family has a history of issues so I am fortunate to be looked after here. I had an echocardiogram just yesterday and the medical staff couldn't have been more attentive or welcoming. Check in was self-serve with no assistance for older, less tech savvy patients. Check on/out desk was loaded with staff (on their phones) who passed patients to avoid helping. The "professional" staff is dressed in dirty legging/super tight skinny jeans and tighter shirts you might wear to a kid's soccer game. No instruction forms were offered bc PA staff offered little info. They do not return calls promptly. This is not the office from years ago when Dr Soros was on staff.
