I'm glad he did, because this is a doctor you want on your side. Since then, he has replaced his office staff with concerned, capable, friendly and helpful people who cross all their T's and dot their I's. As for for Dr. Husein, I'm impressed by him as a professional and a human being, who opts to serve low income families in South Mountain, where trying to find a specialist in the neighborhood is like looking for a lit match in a giant black hole. He never makes you feel rushed, really listens to you, isn't reluctant to order the tests you need, and treats you like the sentient human being that you are. I never feel "talked down to" and always walk away feeling confident in his ability to diagnose and heal. And as a former New Yorker, I'm never confident about anyone! If you need a great cardiologist, Dr. Husein is your man.

Wish they would've communicated the costs of this visit so I could budget accordingly and not been blindsided by a $400 bill.

The goal from the beginning has been for the patient to get better and find the best plan for the progress of that patient. The appointment scheduling is accommodating/flexible to fit your needs. Dr. Goldstein explains the tests and results in plain language which is just some of the little things that make this office incredible from the start. When our 2 month old needed a cardiac cath procedure, I felt 1000% comfortable with their referrals for hospital AND surgeon. Our baby will end up needing to be monitored for life, and I truly hope we can see Dr. Stock, Jamie, and their staff for as long as possible! As far as the review that mentions the staff being rude: I have never been treated rudely, or spoken to by any of their staff members in such a way. From the front door, to the medical assists, to the ultrasound techs, whether on the phone or in person: all of them are super sweet and helpful. And coming from a regular patient: Dr. Stock is in very high demand and hard to get in to see...even for us regulars. We have to book as far out as possible, and sometimes you are coming in at the crack of dawn or at dinner time to be seen because you don't really have a choice. You literally take anything they have available and figure out how to make it work. Those appointments are like gold, so it's a big deal to miss it, as there are a ton of us who may have needed it and could have come in even last minute.

I left voice messages for calls after the procedure because I was concerned about some symptoms. No one ever called me back. I phoned to question a charge that was paid twice and was told to (snail) mail copies of the receipts so they could research it. Seeing the information on my account should have been easy by pulling it up on the computer. I even gave them my account number. I expect to wrap up my business with them and seek out another electrophysiologist for future needs.

Sometimes they're busy and they greet us with a manner that reflects the patient load (like, let's get you in and get started). If you want expert MEDICAL CARE, this is the place. -Star Review I…read morerarely leave reviews, but my experience with this medical practice has been deeply frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable--especially for a cardiology office where patients often rely on urgent, accurate care. The communication here is disorganized at best, negligent at worst. After multiple calls about a prescription that was never sent to the pharmacy, I finally discovered the wrong medication had been submitted entirely. In cardiology, where medication errors can have life-threatening consequences, this is a massive red flag. The lack of urgency or concern from staff made it even worse--no one seemed to care. We were told that a CT scan was "urgent," yet the imaging center attempted multiple times to get clinical notes from the provider's office and received nothing. I personally called to request the notes and never got them. Eventually, I had to take time off work to physically go to the office just to get the documentation--two weeks after being told this was time-sensitive. By the time the imaging center got what they needed, services were denied by insurance. Even then, I was told the provider's office would send an appeal. Every time I called to follow up, the staff sounded annoyed and uninterested, eventually telling me, "If it's that urgent, you can call insurance yourself." That level of disregard is unacceptable, especially from a cardiology practice. The entire process has been a constant runaround with no accountability. Cardiology is a delicate and critical field, and it should be treated with the utmost care. Sadly, my experience showed the exact opposite.
