One Medical is an interesting place to review because... it's not a restaurant, and it's not an…read moreentertainment place. But it's a place you go to see a doctor. And in the spirit of Yelp... I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

But whoever is handling the billing lately is so rude, am not sure what happened. Maybe they outsourced it? I've never had an issue until recently. I called to clarify a charge that didn't seem like it was coded correctly. The person I spoke to on the phone was obviously busy with so many other things in the background and seemed annoyed and said she'd pass along my concern. I asked in the app and the person who replied was extremely rude as well, when I was just looking for clarification. Apparently a Saturday appointment triggers an extra $87 charge as "after hours" even though that was never disclosed and it shows on the website that they are opening alternate Saturdays (again with no mention of it being an extra fee or extra hours.) It wasn't an emergency and we didn't need to go on a Saturday. I just think that it should be disclosed somewhere that an extra fee will be incurred. My first inquiry in the app received a very patronizing "non-answer" to my question. The AI in the app is great but it doesn't handle billing. AI isn't always helpful but at least it's not rude or insulting. After the back and forth, I logged in to pay the balance that I should not have owed, but I chalked it up to a lesson learned. It showed zero balance. That was a few weeks ago, and today I got a bill in the mail showing the outstanding balance again. The providers and the quality of care are amazing. I just felt insulted the way I was treated by the billing people, and that's left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend One Medical but be warned that billing might be a hassle now that I guess it's being handled by new people.

I thought I would just post this since I saw so many bad reviews. The following is my personal…read moreexperience. The Environment : I have been a patient here for 2 years now. The office is very nice as well as the patient rooms. The front staff is very polite (I'm surprised to see so many comments about "rude" front staff). They are very good at starting my appointment on time (which is nice because they request that a patient comes 10 minutes prior to an appointment and I am always "running late" because I reach the office just on time or 5 minutes after). Scheduling appointments is not too much of a hassle (although half the time I have to leave a message and wait for them to get back to me. But they usually do so within 24-48 hours). The Provider: My provider is PA-C Jenna Hilton. I usually just go in for my yearly physicals, but she was extremely helpful when I came in with acidity-related problems. (My problem has not been resolved because I make poor lifestyle choices. Go figure). Please don't dismiss the Physicians that work here (I noticed a lot of reviews stating that there are no doctors around). Physicians are "trained to diagnose and treat illness, as well as provide preventative care in partnership with a physician supervisor". If you come in with a problem that is not within the scope of the PA-C, they will then consult with the doctor who runs the practice. Having physician assistants are really nice because so many more people can be seen compared to the amount of people only one physician (doctor) would be able to see. The Cost: THEY ARE AFFORDABLE. My family doesn't have the best insurance, so I would say we are really lucky to be able to afford a nice place such as Complete Care Medicine through the insurance that we do have. Really surprised to see so many bad reviews. The reviews here are like two good reviews and a bunch of bad ones. If you are looking for a new place or a new Primary Care Physician, give this place a shot and don't dismiss it until you actually try it out. EXTREMELY DISPLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE!!!…read more My boyfriend has been having health issues for a few years now and has gone to this practice a MULTITUDE of times, NEVER with any answers! His symptoms have been gradually worsening, to the point that it has been impacting every aspect of his life. We have been suspecting that he may be suffering from complications due to sleep apnea for some time, so he decided to schedule an appointment with them, to request a referral for a sleep study. He was guaranteed that the referral would be sent to the sleep center ASAP and he managed to lock down an appointment for the study, (about 1 month out at that time.)We both had been very much looking forward to that appointment and the possibility of finally finding some answers for him, so you could imagine that a month of waiting seemed like an ETERNITY as it was, especially with how terrible he has been feeling. After counting down the days to the appointment for almost a month now, he LITERALLY had the sleep center call him the DAY BEFORE he was scheduled to have his sleep study performed, only to tell him that they have not received the referral in time, in order to obtain prior insurance authorization! We were both utterly GOBSMACKED and DEVASTATED with the news. I called the sleep center to see if there was anything that could be done at that point and the representative I spoke with, told me that they had been attempting to contact his doctors office to obtain a copy of the referral for THREE WEEKS with NO REPLIES!!! What's worse is, WHO KNOWS when the insurance company will finally give them authorization for the service and considering we had to wait a month for the appointment, we probably won't be able to get another appointment until next year when our deductible resets! Overall, we've been completely SCREWED OVER by this SHODDY doctors office and it has cost us precious time, money and further SUFFERING, as now my boyfriend is now STUCK not being able to get his sleep study done for who knows how much longer at this point! I can most SURELY tell you that they have most DEFINITELY lost him as a patient and that they have never done a single thing to help him for the entire time he has had the DISPLEASURE of going there! Your practice deserves ZERO STARS overall and you have made your patient's quality of life MUCH WORSE in the long run! SHAME ON YOU COMPLETE CARE!! Why don't you do your future patients a favor and change the name of your business to, "INCOMPLETE CARE" because you SUCK!!

I sought help for an issue that did not seem to require imaging, but they refused to provide treatment or guidance until imaging was completed. This was similar to a prior visit, where no care was offered until imaging was done first. It felt frustrating to be left managing symptoms with no support while being directed toward additional tests that were costly and time-consuming. If you're looking for a provider who will listen, evaluate your symptoms, and offer treatment options before defaulting to imaging, you may want to consider other offices.

It takes weeks to get an appointment, at least 10 minutes on hold just to speak with someone, and the providers are consistently late for scheduled appointments. I've had multiple medical concerns over the years that were dismissed or not adequately worked up, forcing me to seek out specialists on my own. The only reason I knew to do that was because I work in healthcare. It makes me wonder how many patients don't realize they need to advocate for themselves. At some point I realized my dog's veterinarian has a 4.8-star rating, while Desert View Family Medicine sits at 2.2 stars. I'd never take my dog to someone with less than 4 stars, so it was probably time I held my own healthcare to the same standard.
