Service hasn't changed even from old location. Would think would have back up like when a grocery store gets busy but no. Not sure if it's union or just skeleton crew or just one pace. Just gotta wait read more

Wait time between customers is too long. I waited 20 minutes. When I got to the counter with envelope and took 10 minutes. Please fix the system! read more

First time coming here. I had a lei delivered and Google mapped my way here and it was easier than I thought. Pass the federal prison and keep going and it's across the way from Hawaiian Airlines' cargo side. I walked in and had a bunch of questions and the friendly am staff helped me and were very very nice. I gather the price for the shipping doesn't matter when one needs something but never expect it to be cheap! Hahaha but it's the product you need, so it's the product you pay for. Unfortunately I didn't take picture of the surroundings because I was in a rush. However, it's small with great parking and friendly staff! read more

Service for pick up was fast. Customer service was great as well.. This was my first time picking up cargo from them and they made it super smooth. I was in and out in less than 5 mins :)) read more

Awesome sauce! Great atmosphere helpful, friendly team with Aloha. Wish all cargo places had this kind of service

Well, obviously a lot of people have unfortunately had a different experience to mine which is a pity, as I found Aloha Air Cargo great to work with. The hardest part was trying to get an online quote, but after a few calls to the office we worked out a quote for the 69 totes of household goods I was shipping from OGG to HNL. Drop off at OGG was easy and they shipped overnight and it was ready by 8am next day. I turned up at the HNL office, staff were excellent, friendly and efficient, and the forklift driver was pretty nifty with his skills. Nothing was damaged, it arrived quickly, communication was good. Very positive experience. read more

Had a puppy shipped inter island from Hilo to Honolulu. The live animals took almost 2 hours after flight arrival. The office closed after 5 pm and there were no signs about where to pick up items/ animals. Puppy ended up being in his crate for 5-6 hours for a 40 minute flight. There was no urgency to get the animals to there intended clients in a timely manner, instead they prioritized everything else and left the animals for last. read more

Lost two of my boxes , 3 years later still never found it , mainland company with no Aloha ..

Next! When you get to this place, there is parking. It may not be a lot but enough because people will come and go like crazy. First thing that you do when you get there is. . . PULL A NUMBER! ‍ it's right there as you walk in and if you don't, you'll know why fast lol but not to worry because they are fast. So what you should do is, park, go in and take a number and then go back to your car and get whatever you want to send and if you're going to the throne don't take too long because your number will be skipped and then fill out your Waybill. That's ok if you don't fill it all out because they will help when it's your turn. This place has AC and that is very helpful when waiting, so no use getting upset when you have the perfect set up. AC, front row seating, it's very quiet, free water and the bathroom is right there. #2 not highly recommended everyone will know - who dunnit . The only thing that I didn't like was the front sliding door - noise! Opens and closes so many times but that's ok because you know that the business here is great! Oh yeah, when it got to my turn. The guy that helped me was very helpful, very fast and very informative. I went there around 3pm and my item got to its destination the next day and ready for pickup by 6am awwwwweeeeesomeee! Thank you Aloha Air Cargo for taking care of me and my needs. I'm coming back! (Only because I have one more to send lol) read more

How are they still in business? The employees are rude and not helpful at all! Plus service is so slow. I've shipped dogs with Pacific Air Cargo and Alaska both had exceptional service. If you can avoid Aloha Air Cargo do it at costs! read more

Service is so very slow all the time. 14 people ahead of my number. Moved two numbers in 30 minutes. OMG. I thought it might be less crowed in the afternoon. Nope. No one at the counter right now. Apparently they are very short handed. I dread having to use their service. read more

Shipping to the neighbor islands is FAST, ECONOMICAL and SIMPLE!! No account needed. Credit cards accepted. They ship just about everything including legal documents, dogs, fish, produce, instruments, golf clubs, and motorcycles! They are located off Elliot St. near the airport: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Da29-oHcno8YlCT672wLOQ?userid=QhYJx2jQdPuSq3fGe3aGcA#uDgeKl3M5CHEzGeQwW3Plg QUICK AND ECONOMICAL SHIPPING! We used Aloha Air Cargo to get a 25lb box to Maui to meet a critical deadline. I dropped off the box at 1pm in Honolulu and it was ready for pick up in Kahului at 6pm (same day) for $38!! Nobody can beat that price or speed! If you have time sensitive LEGAL DOCUMENTS, get the Aloha Paks (9.5"x12.5") which ship for a $13.95 flat rate overnight. However, if you drop it off early enough in the morning...it would probably get there the same day...just saying... HOURS Check their website (http://www.alohaaircargo.com/contact-info.html) for specific hours for each island, the HONOLULU customer service center is open: Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. Sunday 3 p.m. - 7 p.m SERVICE Customer service is excellent. They actually answer their phones every time. They can tell you what time your box will get there. Our guy even asked if we needed refrigeration! (Other companies won't refrigerate our our boxes and sometimes toss them in the 100 degree trucks for several hours while en route.) Another guy on the phone in Maui said "If the client can't get here by 7pm, call the supervisor and he will come and meet them when they do get here after hours". Now that's service. We will be setting up an account with them because they are fast, efficient, and don't charge as much as some of our other shipping options. The only reason I wouldn't use them is if the receiving party can not drive to pick up the parcel at the airport. read more

JUNK JUNK JUNK we need some competition to get Aloha Air Cargo out of this I DONT CARE attitude. I really hope we have a carrier step up to the plate. What is your experience with Aloha Air Cargo service? I've talked to at least 5 different people that say the same thing. NO ALOHA for sure.z It takes at least an hour to drop things off..LOL So if your a trucking company you are paying for a driver just to sit around for at least an hour! read more

We recently used Aloha Air Cargo to ship a bunch of stuff to move from Honolulu to Vancouver via Seattle. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and helpful and they got my stuff there on time. Had a slight problem in that I was told I could drop my stuff off on a Sunday, which apparently is only true for commercial accounts, however, they made an exception and accepted my items without any fuss. This actually really saved our assess, because we were flying out the next day with two cats and a toddler and having to drop our stuff off before leaving for the airport would have been massively stressful. Carol T was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and helped alleviate a lot of stress associated with the move. That kind of customer service really makes a difference when you're trying to manage a logistical nightmare like ours so we are forever grateful. Management, if you're reading this, give Carol a raise! read more

East to find, good customer service, aloha spirit for the most part. It was easy picking up my shipment from Hilo. The phone service was kinda okay but when I got there, the man who has assisted me was great! He brought out my shipment from back and off I went! Quick customer service. read more

I've never seen worse customer service in my life. My dog was scheduled to arrive for pickup at 12:15am and the flight was 3 hrs late. No one bothered to give me a call or send an email to notify me of the delay and no one seemed to care that this poor animal hadn't been fed or watered for 4+ hrs. Go with a different carrier! Poor treatment of customers and animals. read more

Terrible customer service, cargo agents are rude and slow. Normally takes 1-2 hours to drop off shipments during peak times. There is no standard protocols in place and every cargo agent seems to have different policies on cargo acceptance. I would suggest using Hawaiian or Transair. read more

I would never ever tell anyone to ship their products to the Honolulu office!!! The people that work here are the slowest workers I've ever seen. There's about 15 people waiting in the lobby and the workers rather change rubbish bags and talk story instead of helping anyone read more

We recently shipped our 2 dogs from HNL to KOA using Aloha Air Cargo. When I booked the shipping I felt good about my choice as the agent was very helpful and sweet. I was told to be at the cargo office 2 hours ahead of the flight departure. I actually arrived several hours early to drop off the crates ahead of time. The employees were kind and allowed me to drop the crates, but the check in was awful. It is a very busy cargo facility and the wait was more than 30 minutes. A sweet employee, Derron, helped my to get the paperwork done, but we weren't able to weigh the dogs because they both were not present. Mind you, I had the airbill with weights from a flight they had just taken from the mainland so the weight information was available and current. Once some initial paperwork was done, I was told to come back later 2 hours prior to the flight to finish. Again, the wait was excessive, which is very disappointing when trying to ship live animals. I finally approached Derron and asked if he could prioritize us because it was getting close to flight time and I needed to get on a plane ahead of the dogs. He got us sorted out and the dogs ready and was kind and patient with me. Once the plane landed in KOA though, my disappointment with Aloha worsened. I sat there and watched while my dogs were pulled from the belly of the plane only to sit on the beltloader for at least 30 minutes (I believed they would fly in the main cargo hold). Someone finally brought them into the cargo bay, where the dogs proceeded to sit in eye view of me for another 20-30 minutes. I will not use Aloha again to ship my dogs. I do not feel like my dogs were prioritized in any way, which is unacceptable when shipping living animals. I was told by the initial booking rep that Aloha ships animals regularly, but they certainly don't seem to have good system in place. My recommendation for Aloha would be to 100% prioritize live animal shipping over boxes and other cargo. They should be checked in upon arrival to the facility and should be off loaded and brought off the tarmac immediately. I also think Aloha needs to come up with a system for the owner to track the pet like text messaging or some way to update their status. read more

Aloha air cargo has only improved over the years , with the increase of staff to assist customers and the new and improved terminal , and also the quality of the employees have made going there more pleasant , the experience there as a whole has become expedited and way more efficient, I have taken large amounts of freight for air shipment and have never been disappointed, there on time schedule departures and arrival times is a well earned record in itself , the new terminal is well vented and large enough to accommodate multiple vehicles and tractor trailers at ounce , I will continue to use Aloha air cargo and have referred there services quite often read more

I would have to agree with others who have also made similar comments about the poor customer service. I thought it was only me that experienced this kind of slow customer service. It's hard to blame the workers there but they do need either more help or need to hire more bodies. It took 45 minutes to an 1 hour waiting in line for assistance to drop off a shipment and it was not even busy. When I arrived they were helping customer #96. I pulled #2. The wait time until I was finally called was absolutely ridiculous. I must say the customer service agents need to pick up the pace just a little. They seemed to not care at all. At least tell your customers who have been patiently waiting, say "thank you for waiting" at least. Auwe!!! For shame....Local businesses running operations like this don't last. Sad to see them carrying on this kind of service. Hopefully my next visit is a little better & only IF I decide to use them ever again. They are definitely not my first choice. read more

I understand it's a pandemic however the customer service in this place is super slow. The front desk is left unattended 20 minutes at a time. No sense of urgency on behalf of the front desk staff. They have lines identified as outbound and pickup however they do not utilize this system at all. If been waiting to pick up for about an hour and 45 minutes and I'm still waiting. You better clear your day and take off work if you plan on picking up or delivering with this place. I've talked to several people in the lobby that has had to take turns because they have kids on the car. They have been on customer 39 for the last 30 minutes and they have two people working the desk and currently they are not servicing anyone. This place needs a major improvement. read more

To my knowledge it is supposed to be first come first served - however the forklift driver unloaded 2 other customers that arrived after me. I guess it's the first person the driver wants to unload that actually gets service. In the end a different driver showed up to unload the person who was "here first." Next time hopefully it will be better. read more

I had to pick up a late shipment that came in from Hilo. I arrive about 30 minutes before closing which was perfect because I hate waiting when its crowded. It was just a small cooler. The dimensions were just 11x11x9 and the weight was about 15 - 20 lbs. But the total to ship it in was just over $50.00. No it wasn't panda, it was just fruit. I would guess its safe to assume the air freight shipping cost has gone up from just a year ago but damn, thats a big jump. But regardless, I still would use this place again since it still reminds me of the once thriving Aloha Airlines. The cargo people are friendly too and everything arrived in excellence condition. read more
