Our second time staying here and just as good as the first time. Less than a block of Duval street but you'd never know it. Quiet with a good pool. They have a continental breakfast every morning and a happy hour in the evening. The staff is attentive and helpful. The rooms are well appointed with great linens, stocked Keurig coffee makers and large refrigerators. Bicycles are avail for rent. We rented them and went to the Fort Zachary Taylor beach. It's a great beach and only $2.50 a price. We love it there.

Excellent customer service A+++ Wonderful location. Good options for the included breakfast. Fun happy hour. Comfortable rooms The reason for the 4 starts is the air conditioning unit was extremely loud and our room was fairly small so the unit is directly next to the bed made it very difficult to get any sleep.

Bed, and luxury bathrobes.

This is the place you want to stay at. Adults only. Me and my boyfriend knew we were going to check in late, so we called to make sure that would be fine. Cary was super sweet and helpful he even stayed late to check us in himself. As soon as we got there he greeted with a smile and complimentary champagne for our long drive. He then walked us to our room. Passing the green gate it was like we teleported to the most beautiful tropical place on earth. They managed to make it feel like a resort in the middle of downtown. So much greenery everywhere. On top of that? A heated pool. And a hot tub. All within 2 steps of our room. Our room, was crispy clean. It looked like they had just bought everything brand new and decorated our room with it. I'm serious. I've never seen glass doors like the ones in the bathroom THAT clean. Everything about our room/ the location/ and the amenities was impeccable and perfection. I have high standards and this place absolutely blew me away. They absolutely have thought of every single detail to make your stay unforgettable. Thank you to the staff!

Highly recommend this place! It looks small from outside, but the way they remodeled and decorated the inside makes it look bigger than it looks from the outside. They pay attention to details. They even had small, refreshments and snacks at the front entrance when you check in. They also give you a voucher for a happy hour drink. There is a swimming pool and hot tub. You are walking distance to the main street where there are a lot of restaurants and clubs/bars so you won't have to worry about parking since you can walk. The price for this place was reasonable compared to some of the other places.

Another great stay! Next time, let's not let14 years go by! This hotel offers a prime location to Duvall, comfy rooms, and an amazing staff. The only miss was our ice bucket not getting a refresh and one day the housekeeper missed our daily complimentary bottled water.

The folks who work here are absolutely amazing. Carey, Danny and Christine made sure my fiancé's birthday was special. We had champagne and chocolates waiting for us in the room. The joy they have for their guests is genuine. We stayed in room 212 highly recommend upgrading to this suite , worth every penny. The property is so clean and close to everything. What a fun experience to have at Christmas , highly recommend.

Amazing place, ranked #1 in Key West by another large review site. Just around the corner from the action of Duval Street but our room, a spa suite tucked in the far corner of the first floor, was so quiet. Everything from day one to our dreaded departure was top notch. The pool is amazing, with a small waterfall that drowns out any street noise. The pool deck is very small but has plenty of loungers and even with a couple people playing the towel reservation game, I didn't have a problem finding a seat. Many 1st floor guests have covered patios with seats and a direct view of the pool, so a lot of them would sit there. There is a patio with a couple high tops and small dining tables for the included breakfast and happy hour (nightly drink coupon for one included beverage). I see some groups stay here but it is very much a couples type resort, small and quiet, adults only. The toiletries, towels, (deep bathtub in spa suite only) were all amazing and you will want to spend more time in your room than out of it! All staff were so, so friendly and most guests being couples wanted to chat a little and were from all over the US and Europe. It was such a nice stay and we will probably return here any time we are drawn to Key West.

The location is perfect, right off of Duval but situated perfectly between the southernmost beach and the bars.

This impressive Queen Anne Victorian style house was designed as a one-bedroom mansion. What it lacked in bedrooms it more than made up for with its open water views, elegant public rooms, two story balconies, and large stained glass windows to catch the ocean breezes. little bit of History piece: William Curry came to Key West, from the Bahamas, penniless. He became a wrecker and with his massive fortune, built eight mansions in Key West and became Florida's first millionaire. His daughters wed wealthy men as well. One of his daughters, Florida Euphemia, married Judge Vining Harris. Interesting Fact: Electricity was a novelty and a luxury in the 1890's. Mrs. Harris wanted the best and was able to engage Thomas Edison to oversee the electrical design and installation for the house.

The beach (Fort Zachary) was a 20 min walk The rooms were not super modern, but it was comfortable. It came with a tv, iron, mini fridge, and fresh towels. You don't hear the actual noise on Duval street from the bar. I heard more noise from guest moving around and slamming doors. I would definitely recommend packing eat plus if you're a light sleeper. Especially if you're on the main floor near the front door. They provide a small continental breakfast including boiled eggs, freshly baked pastries from a local spot, cereal, oatmeal packets, milk, juices, and coffee. There's also a donut and coffee shop next door with THE BEST donuts EVER!!! It's called Glazed. The service was great! Foster is the main go to guy for questions and needs. He was super kind and helpful. He gave us really good recommendations for places to see, eat at, drink at, etc.... Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Terrible hotel building with terrible customer service…read more Building is old and consist of few buildings combined. Need to change elevator 2 times to go to your room. Rooms are nicely decorated but not what you expect for $1000 a night. They are way over priced for the quality. Front desk staff is terrible. Don't know how to handle issues which you will have plenty. We didn't have AC 2 out of 3 nights and they didn't even feel bad about it. They said basically it is what it is and we have to deal with it. One night they moved us to another room and they were acting like they were doing us a favor. It was major problem for us. second night they moved us to our room which has broken AC And gave us boxed fan to cool off. Front desk manager is clueless and don't know how to handle issues and he has kids working for him who do not know how to handle anything. They are like teenagers. I would never ever stay there again and warn anyone not to there. Oh you will wake up 5am because of dumpster trucks getting the trash and it takes like 20 min. Another thing is their damn roosters , they start 4am and won't let you sleep. Jesus, it was 3 days of hell!

We wish we had checked out and stayed at Marquesa hotel instead. But everyone was at the same hotel for the weekend so we stuck it out. For the price point, ones expectations are commensurate and this place was not even in the same universe as other hotels charging the same rate. The hotel is right on the water but in key west, the same can also be said for a gas station. Right away you know there's a problem because the elevator to reception smells like rotting seaweed (sargassum). The reception area seems like a guest room that was adapted and its small and dark and doesn't work. Then you get to the guest rooms from the year 1985 with chair railing and crown molding that has never seen a magic eraser in its life. Covered in 40 years of dust and who knows what else. The blinds have never been dusted or replaced in 40 years. Are you getting the picture? The head board had mystery smears on it. Floors were filthy with 40 years of accumulated dust. We dared not step one toe into the murky pool. We watched as guests sat there for hours, drink after drink, and never got out. Not even to use the bathroom? Ewwww. Every day the streets flood with high tide and poor civil planning so coming and going from the hotel means wading in ankle deep water and probably sewage, which is probably why the elevator smells so terribly. No wonder all the associates there seem so sad. I would be too if I worked there. I was sad for the resources and time spent here that I wont get back.
