Kids mask are available, as well as tissues and hand sanitizer. I like that there is an informational video playing while waiting for the nurse to come and escort you to your room. I've had the pleasure of meeting several doctors outside of my child's pediatrician, and they are all nice and attentive. I appreciate the availability and the care they give from the nurses greeting you as you walk by to the doctors.

The rooms in the office are so fun, and the office has both a well and sick kids waiting room, which makes a mom with a 2 month old feel at ease. We have never had to wait long, and the staff is all so kind. I would drive an hour to go to this office, very few places have this quality of care.

The trend has been a long wait to either to be called back, see the doctor/ nurses, or both. We showed up about 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment time; otherwise, they will make you reschedule if checked in is past their 10-15 minutes threshold from the appointment time. From the time of our appointment to when we were done, it took approximately 1.5 hours with about 30 minutes wait interval between measurements/wgt, seeing the doctor, and then nurses for the shots. If you have an infant /toddler, this feels like eternity. This has been a very frustrating aspect and would give a five star recommendation otherwise.

Recently, through labs we found he was insulin resistant. Doctor Naidoo gave us a care plan to support my son's metabolism. The goal was to lose weight while gaining muscle. He said we would see results in three months (to be honest I thought he was crazy! ). 3 1/2 months later my son has gone from a 40 inch waist to a 36 inch waist! He is sleeping better, feeling better, and his sugar addiction is broken. The best part is he feels good about himself again. What was the plan that works so well? Dr Nadoo said to eat greens and meat. So we did. It was so simple. No numbers to crunch, food to weigh, or special recipes to make. It has simplified my life and goven my son so much more life. So for 3 1/2 months 2 to 3 times a day we filled our plates with greens such as spinach, arugula, broccoli, asparagus, brussels sprouts, cabbage, and sometimes salad. He didn't always like it at first, but grew to enjoy some of them. We ate all types of meat. Since we have chickens, we ate eggs for breakfast. The second part of the plan was simply "movement.". For us, that was short walks after each meal, squats, and lifting kettle weights occasionally. The results were amazing! So Simple for such an incredible outcome. We want others to know that it is so possible to regain health and vitality! We are forever grateful to Dr Naidoo and shine pediatrics! We have had experience and have been to all three of the doctors at one time or another. They all have always taken good care of my kids. However, I will say that our hearts now belong to Dr Rosales. We absolutely adore her. She is down to earth, she takes her time and listens to all of my concerns and she is extremely knowledgeable. For all of these things are reasons I have trusted no other pediatrician with my kid's medical needs. I was placed on hold by the front desk for about 10 minutes while they "checked with the owner." I was then told that if we did not strictly follow the CDC vaccine schedule, we were not welcome as patients at this practice. There was no room for shared decision-making or consideration of individual medical history. Even though I myself am a health care provider as well. While vaccines are important, there is ongoing research and discussion around individualized timing in certain high-risk situations, including families with autoimmune histories. I never once said I wanted to refuse vaccination. Unfortunately, this practice does not allow for any flexibility or open conversation. If you are looking for a pediatrician who supports informed consent and personalized care, this may not be the right office for you.

We came into this office when our kiddo was one and were pretty behind on shots, we didn't feel pressure from Dr. Schwartz to vaccinate but ultimately we knew it was the right thing to do.
