I am a working mom and I have 3 kids under the age of 4 with my own health issues. This is not the first time this has happened and I had hoped that they got a new office manager but they are so inconsiderate and incredibly inflexible it is not worth the stress. I once didn't fill out the intake form online because my twins were born on leap year and I couldn't figure out the form so they just canceled it. I was 2 weeks postpartum with twins and recovering from a c section, breastfeeding all of the things. When I tried to call I couldn't even leave a voicemail. Another time I paid for a crazy expensive testing and appointment with Dr. Naidoo and he gave me a lecture on how we should stand up for not vaccinating our children. I already support not vaccinating children but I had to kindly remind him that my children are my priority and the topic of the appointment and I didn't want to pay for that. Of course he was 30 minutes late to that appointment and I only got 15 minutes with him. It's pretty sad that we pay extra for some of these testing and were looking for somewhere with functional medicine. Do not schedule here unless you want your visits and scheduling to end in tears. Dr. RoseBerry has 20+ years of experience and I really liked her. Dr Able also seemed very knowledgable and approachable. With some many physicians I have had very reasonable experience with obtaining appointments. However, the nurse / doctor calls backs seems bit lengthy at 3+ hours. Also, the doctors alternate days so your doc won't be in the office every day. The nurses have all been happy and nice (which helps). Isabel that handles insurance and is sometimes at the desk is extremely nice and will go out of her way to help.

We have seen Dr. Mitchell since my oldest was a newborn. I trust Dr. Mitchell with my sons' lives! I am a very anxious mom and my brain tends to catastrophise any new medical symptoms, but Dr. Mitchell has never dismissed my concerns and always takes time to explain things to me in a calming and reassuring manner without minimizing my concerns or making me feel ashamed for my intrusive thoughts. Never dismissive, never condencending, never once has come from a place of ego in instances when I have pushed back on his assesment/dignosis. Dr. Mitchell always says "you are the expert on your own child" and will agree for additional testing if I don't feel at peace with something regarding my children's health. I have never once in all these years felt rushed or unheard during our appointments or phone calls. Dr.Mitchell just deeply cares for his patients and goes out of his way to make their parents feel best equipped to care for them and guide them. I drive from Allen to FLP in Dallas no matter how bad the traffic may be, and will continue to do so no matter where we move next across the DFW metroplex. Additionally, in 8.5 years we were always seen the same day for sick visits. Some other excellent doctors at FLP we have seen for sick visits include Dr. Clark, Dr. Kravitz and Dr. Strong. In 8.5 years, we have only waited to be seen ONCE for longer than 30min. We have also only had positive experiences with the front desk staff and nurses. Side note for any anxious moms like me: best to skip scheduling with Dr. Tang. I am sure she is extremely qualified in medical expertise, but she leads with the worst case scenario. I am still scarred from taking my children to see her twice.

I was surprised today to see the Yelp rating so low, so I got on here to weigh in my voice because reviews seem to often be those who are disgruntled. FLP has been a great home base for us, and we have always received excellent care. I highly recommend any of the doctors in this location. The office staff has been helpful throughout the years, and the PAs and nurses have been friendly and very accommodating to my daughter's fears of the doctor office. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The nurses are well versed and always up beat and helpful. One of the coolest things about this place is if your child is sick they will actually see them that day! I have had this happen twice and both times I called in they were able to fit me in the same day. Such an awesome policy to help put first time moms at ease. We see Dr. Katz and he's perfect for my personality. He's very confident and calm. Even crazy questions or worries don't seem to phase him.
