Recently, through labs we found he was insulin resistant. Doctor Naidoo gave us a care plan to support my son's metabolism. The goal was to lose weight while gaining muscle. He said we would see results in three months (to be honest I thought he was crazy! ). 3 1/2 months later my son has gone from a 40 inch waist to a 36 inch waist! He is sleeping better, feeling better, and his sugar addiction is broken. The best part is he feels good about himself again. What was the plan that works so well? Dr Nadoo said to eat greens and meat. So we did. It was so simple. No numbers to crunch, food to weigh, or special recipes to make. It has simplified my life and goven my son so much more life. So for 3 1/2 months 2 to 3 times a day we filled our plates with greens such as spinach, arugula, broccoli, asparagus, brussels sprouts, cabbage, and sometimes salad. He didn't always like it at first, but grew to enjoy some of them. We ate all types of meat. Since we have chickens, we ate eggs for breakfast. The second part of the plan was simply "movement.". For us, that was short walks after each meal, squats, and lifting kettle weights occasionally. The results were amazing! So Simple for such an incredible outcome. We want others to know that it is so possible to regain health and vitality! We are forever grateful to Dr Naidoo and shine pediatrics! I would love to share before and after pics so you could see the transformatio, but I can't get them to post.

The office is located on the second floor, inside the new Baylor hospital…read more I have had experience with 3 of the physicians and they have all been above average. Dr. RoseBerry has 20+ years of experience and I really liked her. Dr Able also seemed very knowledgable and approachable. With some many physicians I have had very reasonable experience with obtaining appointments. However, the nurse / doctor calls backs seems bit lengthy at 3+ hours. Also, the doctors alternate days so your doc won't be in the office every day. The nurses have all been happy and nice (which helps). Isabel that handles insurance and is sometimes at the desk is extremely nice and will go out of her way to help.

No one showed up so we had to use the hospital's onsite pediatrician. He was not bad at all but we decided to give our original pediatrician a second chance thinking she will come the next day. After 48 hours, still a no show! It's bad enough that Limsenben didn't show up at all but to not even notify us that she couldn't make it is inexcusable. We got no explanation. Nothing. Even until this day that we have not heard from her and it's almost a week now since our baby's birth. I don't understand how anyone can be this unprofessional.

I am shocked to see such low ratings for FLP. We absolutely love our pediatrician Dr. Mitchell, he…read morehas always provided excellent care for my sons, 8.5 years old and 5.5 years old. We have seen Dr. Mitchell since my oldest was a newborn. I trust Dr. Mitchell with my sons' lives! I am a very anxious mom and my brain tends to catastrophise any new medical symptoms, but Dr. Mitchell has never dismissed my concerns and always takes time to explain things to me in a calming and reassuring manner without minimizing my concerns or making me feel ashamed for my intrusive thoughts. Never dismissive, never condencending, never once has come from a place of ego in instances when I have pushed back on his assesment/dignosis. Dr. Mitchell always says "you are the expert on your own child" and will agree for additional testing if I don't feel at peace with something regarding my children's health. I have never once in all these years felt rushed or unheard during our appointments or phone calls. Dr.Mitchell just deeply cares for his patients and goes out of his way to make their parents feel best equipped to care for them and guide them. I drive from Allen to FLP in Dallas no matter how bad the traffic may be, and will continue to do so no matter where we move next across the DFW metroplex. Additionally, in 8.5 years we were always seen the same day for sick visits. Some other excellent doctors at FLP we have seen for sick visits include Dr. Clark, Dr. Kravitz and Dr. Strong. In 8.5 years, we have only waited to be seen ONCE for longer than 30min. We have also only had positive experiences with the front desk staff and nurses. Side note for any anxious moms like me: best to skip scheduling with Dr. Tang. I am sure she is extremely qualified in medical expertise, but she leads with the worst case scenario. I am still scarred from taking my children to see her twice.

My child had some complications early on and the doctor that treated her either didn't know the procedures for that process or didn't remember. She claimed she forgot since it rarely happens, but I doubt that. Even so, if she didn't know or don't remember, ask someone who knows. The health and future of my child is in her hands. I'm not the expert, I'm trusting them to be, but the handling of the aftermath was messy and negligent. It was phone tag, a lost referral, and a non-apology apology. I don't recommend.
