I think the sound of a near tears grandma might have helped. :-) My granddaughter raised her eyebrows at me when we entered a very obvious pediatrician's office but once we were in the room with Dr. Baig any and all reservations were immediately erased. Everyone in the office is so kind -- I cannot recommend them highly enough!! Dr. Baig immediately recognized some areas that needed bolstering and she explained everything she thought and everything she was doing to my 17 year old as though she were 17 years old - not a child. We just fell in love with this office.

We have had experience and have been to all three of the doctors at one time or another. They all have always taken good care of my kids. However, I will say that our hearts now belong to Dr Rosales. We absolutely adore her. She is down to earth, she takes her time and listens to all of my concerns and she is extremely knowledgeable. For all of these things are reasons I have trusted no other pediatrician with my kid's medical needs. Not to mention, the office staff has always been helpful and responsive when I have called or messaged for any reason.

I was placed on hold by the front desk for about 10 minutes while they "checked with the owner." I was then told that if we did not strictly follow the CDC vaccine schedule, we were not welcome as patients at this practice. There was no room for shared decision-making or consideration of individual medical history. Even though I myself am a health care provider as well. While vaccines are important, there is ongoing research and discussion around individualized timing in certain high-risk situations, including families with autoimmune histories. I never once said I wanted to refuse vaccination. Unfortunately, this practice does not allow for any flexibility or open conversation. If you are looking for a pediatrician who supports informed consent and personalized care, this may not be the right office for you.

Pros: - We like All About Children and how they have a well and sick side for waiting room. - We like that we've always been able to get a same day appointment for sick visits. - We like that the nurses are always sweet, kind, and patient with the kids. - We like that the nurses and staff are always happy to help us parents and care for us too - We like that the nurses coo and aw with the babies. They are gentle and caring. - We like the back office and how they are very organized. - We like that they provide extra copies of paperwork and records for us as parents. - We like that the doctors all actively work as a team in their practice. - We like that they have a good relationship with Children's Hospital and network with them as specialists. They have excellent recommendations of pediatric specialists within the north DFW area. Cons: - I wish there was a sign in their parking lot to remind drivers to go slower. With lots kids in the parking lot there -- I wish there was a caution sign to look out for little ones. - I wish there was designated parking sign for parents who have children under the age of 1. The doctors (Dr…read more Burton, Heidi Hall) and nurses (Willa) here are the reason my 2 yr old ended up in Dallas Children's with a 30% chance of survival. She was brought in to ABC on day 3 of a fever, tested positive for an infection, and Heidi Hall did not communicate any results to us. When we called ABC on day 5 saying our daughter was worse, Willa verbatim told us that "Heidi was too busy" to answer our questions. The night our daughter went into sepsis, we could not reach anyone at ABC to help us. The nurse triage line could not get in contact with any doctors. When Dallas ER needed her test results to treat her, they were unable to reach anyone that would respond at ABC, and this was during open hours on a week day. I was told by Nancy and Brianna that Dr. Burton was "too busy" to read a test result. I was again surprised at the lack of response, thinking ABC would now see the severity of the situation and help. Heidi and Willa never communicated test results or bothered to speak with us. Dr. Burton could not be reached on the triage line and didn't respond to the ER doctor. Pepper couldn't be bothered to read notes from the ER visit to review with us during the follow up. Each of these providers told us to trust them with the care of our child, and they made the choice to be negligent. This practice is broken, providers take shortcuts and sacrifice good quality care for its parents and patients at any cost. I share this now in hopes no other parent has to hear their child may not live past the night or see their child suffer because of the negligence of these providers. I encourage you to look elsewhere if you are considering them or if your experience here has not been what you hope it is as a parent, choose to make the effort to find a new provider versus hope things will get better. I kept saying "oh the next appt will be less rushed" or "it must have just been a bad day" and continued to make excuses. Don't make the same mistake we did trusting this practice with our child's care.

I have had 2 separate appointments and multiple phone calls with the nurses since this past incident. I really do love the back staff at this practice. I hope the front will continue to grow and improve. This may be the hardest review I have written. I own a medical practice so I completely understand what reviews can do to a practice. I am hoping this review will open the eyes of Dr. Cook and the other providers. First off I want to say the doctors are AMAZING. We LOVE Dr. Miller, Dr. Cook and Michelle PA. The providers are top notch. Unfortunately, the front office team is destroying this office. They are completely unprofessional. About a week prior to my son's prescription running out I began calling the office. Dr. Miller and I had spoken that we would be increasing his dosage, so I was unable to request a refill from the pharmacy. This medication is a daily medication that cannot be stopped cold-turkey. I called, left multiple messages, and even called the on-call nurse over the weekend- no response, zero, zilch, nada. On Monday I called the office three times. I basically begged the front desk to let the nurse know my situation, "sorry ma'am, I am only a scheduler, I can't help you, I can only pass on the messages". It's Tuesday at 3:22PM, still no response. Luckily Walgreens gave me three loaner pills to hold us over until we can do our tele-visit with Dr. Miller. I hope Dr. Cook sees this review and makes some drastic changes with his practice. If changes don't happen, I can assume this practice will fail, which would truly be a shame.

We have been seeing Dr. Ho since the adult side opened. We were never overly happy, but also not overly unhappy, so we stayed. However, in a great time of need, she refused to see my husband. He had been in a car accident and when he was released from the hospital, she would not see him. This left us without anyone to oversee his care. Then when I tried to get his medical records that we had forwarded to his PCP (before we knew she wouldn't see him), they wanted to charge a lot of money. So, just be wary that if you want a PCP that will see you in your time of need, Dr. Ho is not the one. It took several months to get a new patient visit at a different PCP. Our new PCP was shocked that she would refuse to see him. Good news is that our new PCP is really good and thorough in overseeing my husband's care.

Twelve years ago, Dr. Kim saved his life. He was not recovering from pneumonia, and Dr. Kim sent us to Children's Dallas, believing He had Pleural Empyema. She was right on, and he had lung surgery to clear the fluid and infection. She called me every day checking on him. Sabrina also worked with her then, and has always known what to listen for. Both of my sister's kids see them. Their entire staff is as close as any family unit. I love every single person inn that office.
