Yelp hours are not correct. Actual hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Drove a truck and trailer from Napa on Saturday. Wasted time and fuel, and now have to do it all over again on my day off, due to the wrong hours on Yelp. read more

We have used Allied Propane Service now for 3 years and when Dan was our rep it was a great service, but he moved out of state recently and we now have a very unprofessional guy that can't seem to find his way out of a paper bag. We received no emails with pricing and bids like we use to with Dan either. No confirmation on scheduled appointment. When I called to confirm our appointment the week before because I had a bad feeling about it this guy was on vacation and the office had to reschedule us!!' Due to fires we are burying our propane tank. We made an appointment for this 3 weeks ago. Schedule an excavator, men, to dig hole, needed sand, etc. The scheduled morning I got a call 1/2 hour after they were to show up that they could not be coming due to an emergency. The emergency ended up being some guy not showing up for work! That was also their only job for the day according to the main officer who had just earlier assured us they were coming. We had gone to a lot of expense and hired guys to help! Individuals make so much difference snd this company is clearly not service minded anymore! So sad. I'm changing propane companies for sure. read more

Allied propane has no issues charging you for service, but when they make a mistake it may takes months do fix the issue. I switched to another propane company because the staff are usually short tempered and altogether rude. They also do not know safety code, so they do a lot of risk stuff. When I switched to a different company we were left with an allied propane tank. We drained it pretty much empty so it was relatively light (this is important). 45 days after getting our new tank from the new company and nearly 60days after canceling with allied we still had that tank. I called to remind them to pick it up, they said they'd be out in a week. 60 days later.... we still had the allied tank sitting in our yard. I proceeded to call them monthly, getting the same response each time, wait a week, we're busy. After 9 months a called again and they said "the driver couldn't get his equipment in to remove the tank". I told them it was a 120lb empty tank, I have already moved it by myself several times because it keeps getting in the way. She replied "ok I'll let the driver know". 30 days later (10 months now) I STILL HAD THE DANG TANK! I brought the tank out front, and set it on my driveway to the side. I called and told them I left it out front. In which I was told they would pick it up next week. I waited 12 days and called again. THEY SAID THE TANK WAS INACCESSABLE! IT WAS ONLY 20FT FROM THE ROAD SITTING ON AN ASPHALT DRIVEWAY! I told them they had 35 days until I started charging them $50 per day for tank storage. I sent the same message to their corporate and office emails with all my details. I even put a sign next to the tank saying it. I called at day 30 and told them they had 5 days until I start billing them and resent the emails. At day 33 they finally picked up the dang tank. It look nearly a YEAR! Yes, they deliver cheap propane, yes, you should switch. Horrible staff. read more

Went by this morning to have their staff look at a propane leak in my RV. It was diagnosed and serviced by Al in a short amount of time despite me not having an appointment. He was able to perform the work on the faulty regulator with parts on hand and in a very difficult (tight) work area for a very reasonable price. My wife and i were extremely satisfied with the service and the best price for propane in the region. Thanks again to Al and the Allied Propane team!! read more

Allied Propane is the best for pricing, service and supplies. The staff and drivers go above and beyond to make their customers feel like family. From delivery to walk in service nobody can beat the customer service and care! Highly recommend the knowledgeable staff and service there! The chevron station across the way is also great! The food is amazing! You can have lunch and sip wine! There are tesla charging stations too! It's a one stop shop for all traveling needs! read more

I have been with Allied for about 8 years, when I first started with them they were very good, but over the last couple years the service has gotten bad. I am supossed to be on the "Keep it Full" plan, where they check and re-fill the tank, regularly, that way I don't get huge bills. For the last couple years I've had to call to get my tank re-filled, a couple times it was down to between 5-10%, which results in a very large bill. Last week I was down to 20%, so I called the Napa number. The lady on the other end ofthe phone was rude, I explained I was supossed to be on the keep it full plan, but she had no response to that, then when I told her I was at 20% she said "Well you've got 20%, I'll put you on the list" about a week later I'm down to 10% and still no sign of the truck. Luckily, I was outside when the truck pulled up to fill my neighbors tank. I talked to the driver who told me I was not on the fill list, but he did fill it for me. If I have to call again and talk to the rude office lady, I'll be changing suppliers! read more

I have an older rv and the shut off valve on the propane tank was leaking. After visiting no less than 11 propane and rv shops around the bay area and hearing any ridiculous answer. from "this is a speciality valve and we are legaly not allowed to carry it" to "our company protocol demends a 1 hour labor charge, the installation will cost around $200" I called these guys. They told me to come in so they can take a look and after 10 minutes from my arrival the job was done. They charge me for the valve and the propane fill and say it was such a quick and easy job they won't even charge me for labor. This is honest service. They did not accept a tip so this review is the least I can do. Thank you guys so much! read more

We use to do be customers but no more. The owner of the business, an elderly man, thought it was appropriate to make derogatory homophonic comments toward me. All I did was turn around to see who was behind me and he went off making rude an inappropriate statements. Not sure why he would decide to attack me or what I did to provoke him.
