They have changed staff inside Chevron on W. Imola Ave. Staff is not consistent. Every time I go in there, it is someone different @ checkout. What is the turnover about? Makes a customer wonder, how management is treating their staff? Bathrooms are somewhat acceptable. At least there is toilet paper. And paper towels. Unless you pay for the $10 wash it just moves the dirt around on ur car and spits you back out. Even with the $10 wash I would recommend pre-spraying your tires with some cleaner before entering. There was a line early in the morning the last time I went. I'm thinking these people are one of a few things, real go getters, people that can't sleep, or people that pretend that they being water conservers for the drought and don't want to get caught washing their car. What else do you need to know? Cash or credit is accepted. That machine will suck in bills even if they are old. Why don't snack machines do that? read more

I used to buy my gas here all the time because the place was convenient and they had great gas and a very well placed air pump and water pump for me to keep my car in shape. I liked the fact the had lottery games inside. And they had a huge micro store with plenty of snacks and lots of drinks. Great coffee and good iced coffee drinks. Wearing black masks and carrying torches of fire, the giant insects scurried after me like nightmare fear accessing a slumbering mind. I lost one of my shoes during the pursuit and my sister wasn't much help in finding it for me. Who could blame her? She was too busy running from the bugs herself. We made it to the end of the dark street where my car was parked. We hopped in. The engine started reluctantly. The gas gauge was past 'E' and the orange light was glowing hot in the cold air. One of the bugs, the one that looked like Roger Ebert wearing a Batman mask, started scratching violently on the back window of my car. I noticed he was wearing my missing shoe! My sister saw my look of horror from the passenger seat and shrieked. I laid on the gas pedal. A few of the pursuers laid squashed on my windshield as we flew. The chase was over for now. The gang of bugs got smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror as we jettisoned, yet they still looked pretty pissed off. My sister and I drove a few miles, my car jerking and jolting sporadically as it gasped for gas. We finally came upon a deserted Imola Chevron. I gassed up and took advantage of the on-site car wash. So, if you've got dead pests on your grill, need to re-fuel, and want to get out of town in a hurry, it turns out that this is not a bad place to go. read more

This car wash is a total nightmare T O T A L nightmare it has a pulley that runs along the front and top of your car and so what is it...1981? Not worth it for $10.00 or even the lesser selections. Whatever wash you choose has these wheels & pulleys running screechily along your paint job. I kinda cringed when I left. Later inspections showed no damage to the vehicle. Fast forward 3 weeks - I came In from a long road trip and didn't know where the next closest one was and my car was filthy I always get Chevron gas so here I am I drive in following a green sign that says "drive forward slowly". Car wash doesn't start. There are 3 cars behind me. I feel like an idiot but it isn't working. No lights, nothing blinking, just inert I get out of my car, push help button, explain my issue; hear no reply but it's clear he heard me & I want to appear graceful. Head back to my car. Wait 6 minutes. SIX MINUTES with my car door wide open In a non-operative car wash. Go back. Now 6 cars behind me. Push Button again he replies he'll be there when he can. Later I saw there were three employees In the store. If he was alone, as I assumed, this would've made sense. Finally, victor arrives telling me to "stop immediately" when I see the red light. Whole thing ensues again. (backing up over the bumps wasn't very good for my car) I see no red light. Only a yellow (go slow with caution) light and the big green letters saying "drive forward slowly". Finally Victor was yelling at me "lady you don't see the red light? God!!!" Seeking, I notice a red light by the yellow light that flashes for a second. One second. The green sign still says drive forward slowly. So I point this out & Victor shakes his head telling me "god lady" for a 3rd time- and I ask for my $10 back, embarrassed, still not getting where the red light even IS.. And I'm a pretty functional person (generally). Victor storms inside, I park and follow, we aren't speaking anymore because apparently he's my boyfriend now not interested In customer service at all Getting the money back was a non issue... Don't think they lack integrity but the car wash sucks and so does victors attitude so I found another chevron, with a car wash about 2 miles away on Jefferson st, the guys spray windows and scrub wheels before you drive through. The actual washing is a Much gentler touch on the car for $7.99. Nice guys. Enjoyable accommodating ~ respectful service. I'll be going there from now on. - read more

Purchased propane here several times. The service was OK; you know the routine: go inside and wait in line to pay for the bottle, the cashier calls for someone and they meet you outside, then exchange your empty one for a full one. All seemed like a fair exchange except for the last time. When i got home i hooked the bottle up and didn't use the bbq for a month. when i did propane leaked out around the hose connection and i found out the o ring on the bottle was bad. the response: sorry friend, we'll take the bottle back but you must buy a new one. I left the "Manager" a note with my information but have not been contacted. I'm sure it's no big deal to this Chevron store, they don't need my business. read more

It is pretty sad when a local Chevron in a booming tourist county cannot provide a bathroom available for patrons that need to go to the bathroom ASAP. They were rude and didn't say how long it would take for them to clean it. read more

Imola Avenue has two Chevron stations... this is the other one. They are pricier than other stations, but it's not as tricky to maneuver as some of the others. They have an OK car wash, along with an average convenience store. They have friendly service. They're sandwiched between two major thoroughfares, so it's a major tourist draw. Terrible place. I will never ever go there again. I went through the car wash here and it completely RUINED my paint job. The people working there were so rude and evasive about it and when I finally talked to the owner about it he denied all responsibility. If you care about your car...DONT wash it here! It cost my $550 to have my entire car buffed out after this experience. Thank god it didn't need to be repainted! read more

I like this gas station they have a good selection on snacks and beer. Tonight tho I was buying beer and the cashier completely ignored me. Talked on the phone and acted like I wasnt even there. I asked a girl stocking if she could ring me up and they both gave attitude. The lady on the phone needs to be fired. read more

We have used Imola Chevron car wash twice, and both times our car came out scratched. The first time we didn't make the connection, thinking a cat or something scratched it. The second time, we drove straight from the car wash to home, 1 mile away, and saw new scratches. They were circular, similar to the movement of the brushes. We went right back to them, the manager took pictures, and we saw the owner 2 days later when he was due back. The owner denied all responsibility, even after seeing the damage on our car. He would not even consider that something unforeseen had happened, like a pebble or something else getting stuck in the brushes. We firmly believe our 2 year old Prius, which was in mint condition, was badly scratched by this car wash. read more
