After we completed all the rough. The designer sit down with me to choose all the finish materials, and we had a very well organized list with all the materials before we started finishing the ADU. During the project, the crew did their best to keep a clean working environment. And under the circumstances they did an exceptional job. The workers were always respectful and appreciative. Besides the duration of our total house re-wire project, we hadn't realized the extent of the lath and plaster damage that is necessary to access the wall and ceiling interiors to pull in all the new wire. Fortunately, our electrical contractor clued us in, and we found a highly recommended multifaceted general contractor that specializes in this type of lath/plaster restoration and renovation. What we learned going into the project was to have the electrical and general contractors collaborate as a "team" to reduce occurrences of making additional work for each other, redundancy and conflicts. We are extremely happy with both of our contractors and how they worked together for OUR benefit! Coincidentally, both of our contractors were from La Jolla and experienced working in higher end homes. We do not hesitate to give them the highest recommendations. We found their rates extremely reasonable for the levels of experience, skills and consideration for the home owner.
