I was referred to Green Earth San Diego to inspect and repair a leak from an upstairs bathroom that eventually soaked through the kitchen ceiling. They sent two working first thing in the morning to inspect the source and right away they were able to locate the pinhole leaks in two different pipes. Before doing anything they made sure to keep me informed along the way and provide me with options. They replace the copper pipes and took care of the issue without delay and they finished the job in a matter of a few hours. Afterwards, they informed me that there was a different area in the pipes that were also corroded and they suggested that it be repaired too. I felt no pressure from them as they nearly suggested it to avoid the same issue down the line since the house was built in the 70's and the pipes were old. They repairs the additional areas also and gave me a sense of confidence that I didn't have to worry about this headache again. I had a slab leak and Dillon was most helpful in the beginning. His workers did a terrible job on plumbing my house with copper pipes. They had to come out on six different occasions and they still do not have it right. I've had to hire another plumber to fix problems. They recommended a regulator and I paid for and it still didn't fix the problem. Then they told me I needed a new new shower valve and that would stop the pipes from knocking and it did not. I will never use this company again, and they do not stand by their motto That they advertise. I am also very disappointed that they say they are veteran owned, and I am a veteran myself. I reached out and they never got back to me. I never received a receipt for the services. Also, they do not clean up their messes and told me that I did not pay for it and they damaged my attic door to the attic and did not fix it. These guys are the real deal. I tirelessly researched a ton of junk haulers and narrowed it down to 5 based on the services they provide (whether or not they recycle was a plus), how soon they could do it, and the quote I was given. I needed junk, donatable/recyclable items, and post construction debris to be hauled within a few days. Mind you, this was at the tail end of the sanitation workers' strike, so a lot of these companies were BUSY. Nevertheless, Green Earth SD was very prompt in responding to all of my questions and concerns regarding their disposal methods. A lot of what we consider "junk" can actually be salvaged and recycled - these guys take their time to cut up old furniture and separate wood from metal to recycle the scraps or donate what can be used as firewood. It was important to me to work with people of integrity who wouldn't just illegally dump or throw everything in the landfill. Here's an idea of the stuff we got hauled: an old couch, a single bed, rusty exercise equipment, an old bench swing, several dilapidated desks & shelves, old coffee table, bed frame, a load of years-old construction material stacked on a pallet, lawn chairs, a couple of satellite dishes, construction debris, and a lot of other things I can't remember but am glad to see gone! Shawn/Sean showed up and cleared it ALL for us in a very timely and professional manner. He had a little more room in his trailer and offered to haul any other items we might've forgotten and even swept when he was done. Incredibly diligent and extremely impressive. Not recommended. After a shower valve break in the wall, we hired them to replace the shower, as well as do repair to two additional rooms that were affected. They were slow in doing the work, disrespectful of our time. Communication was terrible throughout. When the shower was finally installed, it didn't include the shelving we had ordered.
