This is my 2nd time ordering from this place when I'm in Deerfield beach. The service is great. The pizza is thin which I love. The number 1 thing I get every time is their cannoli! Great size. Amazing flavor. Probably one of the best I've had. The chicken parm pizza is 10/10 I would recommend ordering. I wish the cannoli had chocolate chips. That's the only thing that's missing. This place is under new ownership, and boy are Chip and Kelly doing it right!! Very friendly and attentive service is just the beginning. No chance in hell you have a line out the door for your cardboard...as a matter of fact I know you don't I've been in that hole in the wall (not the good kind) plenty of times. Yet they'll have 6 people working in the back on any given day and somehow still manage to not be efficient in ANYTHING but cigarette smoking in the back ‍ then come back in without washing their hands and grab your slice off the day old rack and warm it up for ya. Many years ago when I used to live in the area I would order pizza all the time from All Star's. It was pretty authentic NY style pizza and at a good price as well. It's located in a shopping plaza off of 10th Street on Military closer to Publix and a Chinese food place. They also have a full menu with all the normal Italian favorites (i.e. lasagna, pasta, calzones etc.). One night my roommate and I didn't feel like cooking and I wanted Chinese take-out and she wanted Italian so to compromise we got both lol. We called in our orders and I made the trip over to get everything. She decided to get the fettuccine alfredo and ordered an extra side of alfredo sauce (that we paid extra for) on the side cause she can never get enough cheese lol. The meal comes with a salad and bread stick. When I picked it up it was almost $20 just for the one meal when we thought it was much less but they really up charged us on the extra sauce, almost $5!! If the alfredo was made properly I don't think either of us would have minded paying that price but it was flavorless and not even an alfredo sauce at all it was actually more of a béchamel sauce as it was creamy and lacked the cheese needed to make it an alfredo sauce. If you look at the picture you can tell. We added salt and garlic to the dish to try and salvage it but we barley ended up eating any of it at all. It was really bad and I was really shocked at the food quality of this place since I remember it being much better than this but it has been a while since I have eaten here. It will most likely be my last visit after this experience. The salad was ok I guess you can't really mess up a basic salad but even the breadstick was flavorless. How can a pizza place mess up a simple breadstick?!?! Luckily we also got Chinese from next door to fill us up lol. read more
