We checked out this relatively new pizza spot in Deerfield. They have several varieties or you can pick your own ingredients. We chose our own and it turned out great! The pizza takes only three minutes to cook in their big red oven and it was delicious! It was thin, slightly crispy and quite satisfying pie. The store is located on the southwest corner of the strip mall by the Hillsboro Blvd entrance but you can access via Military Trail too. The pizza was good. It was hot and tasted good. But when ordering a slice, on Uber it was $4, when I got there, they had a sign for less. The slice was also way smaller than other places give you. The guy behind the counter was polite. Parking here was a bit annoying. There's limited spots next to this restaurant. read more

A new-ish create your own individual pizza joint on Hillsboro. A brightly lit and clean place with a line of varied toppings for your pizza. They have menu pizzas as well as a create your own option. I went with creating my own and got a mix of cheeses, pepperoni and mushrooms. They finish the experience with placing your pizza into a rotating oven, very cool. Pizzas are a great size, the ingredients are fresh and there's a large assortment of them for anyone to make their own masterpiece. It's nothing new but it's a great option for this area. read more

Had the pizza delivered to The Boca Raton. The pizza was steaming hot and delivered in 30 minutes. The pizza was amazing and we got three pies thinking four of us would have pizza for the next day. So good we definitely ate more than we expected. Even the picky 8 year old ate her weight (49 lbs) in pizza. Got the cheese pizza and the Muskecheeses. Got an olive oil spin on both. Muskecheeses is alfredo sauce, mozzarella, roasted garlic, Parmesan and more goodness. So glad we got it delivered. If we had eaten at the restaurant we would've had to get a lift back. Yesterday, I visited Checkers next door. I noticed the sandwich board outside of U Pizza advertising a "lunch special." This afternoon, I visited U Pizza to check out the lunch special. I noted a "red flag" in the wording of the lunch special on the sandwich board. It states, "Slices starting at $2.99." Friendly young man waited on me. I requested the $2.99 lunch special. He then counter-offered that they also have a lunch special for $7.00 consisting of two slices plus a drink. I declined and opted for the $2.99 lunch special. It's $3.20 with tax. He asked if I'd like cheese or pepperoni. I chose cheese. He removed one big slice of cheese pizza from the case, put it on a plate, and handed it to me. The kicker is that no drink was included. I enjoyed the pizza...thick and soft. I added oregano from a shaker. I'm giving this place 4 out of 5 stars. I am age 60. I think this is the first time in my life that I ever found a lunch special offered without including a drink. I think it's rather weak for a place not to include even a small fountain drink with a lunch special. The sandwich board honestly did not represent that a drink was included. The staff bid me goodbye as I headed out. Aside from the drink issue, I enjoyed my visit. read more
