My girlfriend's 85 year old DC home's natural gas fired boiler system had been leaking a long time and a number of parts in the boiler were way past their service life. We also needed a new hot water heater as the old one was at least 20 years old. It was just a ticking time bomb. So we called All-Pro for an estimate of new heater and fix boiler as they had helped with getting the heat back on in the past. We were quoted two fixes, repair the boiler as best as possible or replace. Rick explained current code standards in DC versus Maryland and we decided to go with the higher standard installation used by MD. We live in home and may rent the basement and the safety comes first! One of the issues All-Pro's master tech Rick informed us with our existing old chimney flue would not be sufficient for removing the hot gasses from both the gas boiler and gas hot water heater replacement units without a stainless steel liner. I consulted my brother in Upstate NY where he installs boilers. He is especially well known for trouble shooting the very high end efficiency boiler installations and also knows the pros and cons of using the standard high efficiency boiler that All-Pro recommended. He agreed with the SS liner to handle the hot water heater/boiler gasses and the recommended choice of the use of an easily serviceable boiler, where parts are available through most HVAC service firms. Rick's team arrived first thing on a very snowy day and replaced the hot water heater but unavoidably the roof was too slippery to safely install the stainless liner down the chimney, so the boiler and liner were installed the next day with no increased cost. The room available for the installation was tight, but Rick reworked the pipes and flue vent pipes well to fit the small utility room. First rate work prepping all the copper pipes for soldering was evident. Much time was taken to explain the new thermostat and new carbon monoxide monitors. It wasn't cheap, but the work done, efforts taken, and difficulties overcome were significant. Money well spent. My only minor complaint was Rick was kinda tough on his team, (I'm a softy - my brother does this work, so I empathize), but we have only positive comments about the end results. read more

Fantastic service and installation. To be honest, my installation started off a bit rocky. I was promised an install date and then was told that it would be delayed. Naturally, I was upset. To compound matters, I was scheduled to to fly out on the day of the rescheduled installed. I conveyed this to the representative during the call. About 20 minutes later I received a call from All Pro asking if I was currently at home. I replied, I was home. I was then informed that a team would be on their way to start the install or at least pull out my old system and start on the new system the next day. 30 minutes into the team disassembling the old unit one of the techs informed me that the company was sending a second team on their way to perform the install. Wow!!! Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE, ALL PRO SERVICES INC., are the best. In this day of companies providing subpar service while thinking that they are providing good service. ALL PRO SERVICES epitomizes a customer first attitude and service. Instead of giving me an excuse they came up with a solution, committed additional personnel to get the job done and alleviated any of my concerns so I would not be stressed about missing my flight. Imagine the smile on my face when I returned home from my trip and I was greeted at my front door with cool air from my new air conditioner unit. On February 18th, the air handler and heat pump in my home failed due to the motor burning out causing a fire alert. The fire department came and located the source of the alarm as the smoking blower motor. I went to Lowe's to see about having one of their HVAC contractors come out and assess the damage and the cost of replacement. I was referred to Bob Royston from All-Pro Services Inc. I contacted him immediately and Bob was at my home the very next day. He reviewed the damage and presented me with multiple options to rectify the situation. It did not take me long to decide on which unit to go with because Bob explained all the technical jargon. The temperature all day was in the low 30's and I was not expecting to have the installation completed as soon as it did. The forecast predicted 2" to 3" inches of snow for the next couple of days, however, Bob got me approved for financing and scheduled the installation for the next day. Although It snowed for most of the day, All-Pro Services had 5 technicians on site and got the installation done with no problems. The technicians were some of the best I have experienced in years and the follow-up to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction was great. With winter fast approaching, my 27 year old boiler decided it was time to completely fail. I had several estimates from companies I had used for other infrastructure projects in the past, but all of the interactions left me feeling like I was either being condescended to or treated like a revenue enhancement opportunity. You wake up one morning, and your 18 year old air conditioner is blowing not cool air, and it is expected that Annapolis will be having a 90 degree day in 3 days. You call Rick at All Pro Services, he comes out the next day, assesses the system, and gives me the options. My option was to get a new Rudd system. Rick says I think we can do it tomorrow. I said seriously? He said, I think we can. Bottom line that is exactly what they did. Rick ordered the new equipment while he was at our house, and he picked it up the equipment that afternoon. Then Jerry, my favorite HVAC man, came the following day with two assistants and installed the system in one day. And it wasn't easy because we have a small condo and the space for the two pieces of equipment were even smaller. Bottom line, in one day we had a great working system. I contacted this company on the recommendation of our trusted plumber, Otto Seidel, at 7:30am on a Friday morning, with our air conditioning non-functional and the day heating up quickly. Rick arrived by 8:30am and told me that our system was old enough (29 years) that any repair could not be guaranteed. He could do the repair and we'd have one week to change our minds and get the unit replaced if needed, with a full refund for the repair. Based on this, we decided to have the unit replaced. It was a horribly hot and humid day, looking to be worse over the weekend. I asked if they could please get it done in one day, as my husband is disabled and cannot be without air conditioning. They could not guarantee it but promised to try. By the middle of the day, we had six trucks in the driveway and workers everywhere, including the roof. They got it done. We were very grateful. The inspector from WSSC came out and told me the install was good, with the chimney liner being installed to bring everything up to code and the carbon monoxide alarm for safety. I called three company's to come out & give me a bid on installing a new gas heating system. All-Pro Services call me Saturday morning to let me know that they would be at my home at 9:30am as we had already had set up. By far the All-Pro Services man knew more about what need to be done in order to install a new Lennox Signature 96% AFUE (Energy Star) gas furnace / heating system then any one else that came to my home! I have learned from past mistates, do not buy anything based on price. I signed an All-Pro services Inc. work order to install my new gas heating system in my house for Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning I recieved a phone call a 7:15am from All-Pro Services and they were at my house at 8:30am. They completed the instalation by 4:00pm. Recently I had a Lennox heat system installed in the home and was pleased with the professionalism, confidence, knowledge and punctuality of the installer and his team. Even though I was previously told that the installation would probably take 2 days, I was elated that I had heat by the end of the day. They had done great work for him in the past. I called, spoke with Bill, he had his crew come out the very next day in the middle of the hot summer, put in a brand new ac/furnace unit in 1 day! I've been dealing with All Pro since I bought my first house in 2011. I wanted the secure feeling of everything being new and not having any problems so I called All Pro for a new system. I was pleased with the install mechanics Ricky, Tim and Jerry. They were very knowledgeable about their job and it was done in one day. I purchased the service agreement and I have been called by All Pro at the beginning of summer and winter each year to schedule someone come out and check my unit and make sure everything is working well before cold and heat set in. That's a great perk! I recently called for service and was scheduled the same day and my problem was solved right away. This fall I had a need to replace my house furnace which was approximately 45 years old. I did a considerable amount of research of both furnaces and installation and service companies. Couldn't be more impressed. Came out for an estimate after a Lowes referral to replace my HVAC system and Bill was tremendously honest and frank. They ended up giving me an estimate well below another estimate for a big job (needed to redo the return system) that many other contractors simply passed on. Jerry and team came out and did an utterly brilliant job - there was very minimal drywall damage to dramatically increase the volume of air going into the system. My favorite service tech, Jerry, led the project with great efficiency and completed the entire installation in less than 8 hours. My old cooling system had failed right at the start of summer. They called to let me know they were on their way and was at my home at the time they gave me. They were very professional. At the completion of the job, they walked me and my son-in-law they system.
