The most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced in my life! My car got wrongfully towed when I parked my car on the side of the street for less than 3 minutes with my emergency lights on. I quickly got towed and called in, and the man on the phone yelled at me saying "that's not my problem, I will call you back." What I just saw this tow truck driver do was deplorable. First, while the driver was driving through the complex slowly, another young man was checking for tags in windows of the cars. So, my fiancé and i were leaving. we saw the tow truck driver get the Mercedes and try to leave the gate when we started honking and screaming to the neighbor their car was being towed. They didn't properly hook the car up as it was twisted up, and I screamed that they were wrong to treat that car the way they did. I got towed from a parking lot at my cousins apartment. The sign stated that the parking spots were for future residents during 9-6 and unauthorized vehicles will be towed. I was under the impression that it didn't apply after 6. The sign did not say I needed a permit which the tow company is saying I needed. My cousin who lives in there told me I can park there as they have guests multiple times a week who always park there. I spoke to them twice before picking up the car to ask questions. The first man I spoke to said it'll cost me $550 dollars for a same night tow and when I started asking questions he said the man at the desk at their location will be able to answer my calls. The second time I called back because I wanted answers since it's really hard For me to afford $550 and I spoke to a very rude associate named Mikey or Michael who was just arguing about the signs verbiage with me when it can easily be interpreted differently as if I don't have a degree in Communications. In addition when I asked how come no one's ever gotten towed there he chuckled and said they got lucky. In situations that cost a lot of money there's no need to be that horrible towards customers who are paying to get THEIR OWN property back. Storage fee: $100 x 1 day(s) (questionable, because I collected the car same day, within 1 hour to 1.15 hour from their logged removal time.) Since when 1 hour started to become equal to 1 day for us human beings? Does not one (1) day have 24 hours? 3. Gate fee: $125 (questionable. Does it take to open and close the gate $125 for the company, once for entering and next time opening it to release? It was literally an automated sliding gate) 4. Special Equipment Service Fee: $60 (questionable, because the reported towing method was 'towed rear, dollies front'. Does it cost $60 to hook up towing jack to rear, and insert a dollies at the front...) When my husband called the number listed , they said that a resident snitched on us, saying that "all residents know that after 7pm, the spots belong to the apartment complex and require a visitor's pass". NOWHERE does it say "no public parking" OR "visitor's pass required". My friend called the leasing office the next morning and they said that we were told incorrect info as they do not issue visitor's passes for parking!! What in the actual *expletive*?! (NOPE - NOT THERE) - Signs must be in plain view. (I POSTED THE PICTURE. NOT THERE) - Signs must be at least 17 inches by 22 inches in size. By far the worst, most unprofessional towing company I've ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with. They're hired by my apartment complex, Artist Walk, to tow cars that have been in the free parking out front over 3 hours during 8 am to 8 pm hours. I left the complex for 2 hours to pick up my boyfriend, get dinner, and head back. Parked my car at 7 pm and went upstairs to eat. At 8 pm, my boyfriend went downstairs to take the car to pick up my medication and find our car missing, with skid marks out of the spot, over the curb, and a chunk of the curb missing. I immediately called the police to report my car stolen only to find out that it was towed by this company. I called them and they told me they'll let me have my car back "this time" but that they clocked my car there at 2:30 pm. There is literally a camera outside where my car parked. So not only did I have to catch an Uber all the way to the tow lot at 9:30 pm when I have to be at work at 3 am tomorrow, the guy is trying to tell me it was my own fault?? I'm reporting this company not only to the police and to my apartment complex, and will be pressing charges for emotional damages, cost of Uber, illegal towing, and damaging my car dragging it out.
