*** This review is for an amazing man...Hotak *** Yesterday was a very rough day for me. After finishing my 6th day of work, I shut the doors and began my trek home. I have a heavily modified vehicle that I rarely drive except on weekends. After a fairly small issue arose with the vehicle which required me to shut the engine off, I had to roll off the freeway and call AAA. This is where my day went South. I placed my service call with AAA at 12:48 p.m. and did not receive a tow truck to my location until 6:17 p.m. (I will spare all of you the details that occurred in between) let's just say it had to do with the fact that my car needed to go 90 miles to a special shop (which my policy covers for). I sat in my car for 6 hours, hungry and cold, with many different Promises of time frames from AAA. I am in the automotive industry and deal with tow truck drivers on a daily basis so I know how VERY DIFFERENT they can be. If ever I need to get this particular vehicle towed, I absolutely cringe to my core anticipating what tow driver the proverbial dice roll will throw my way. After a very hard day and my frustrations being at an end, finally someone from far away was assigned by AAA to take my service call. His name was Hotak. Admittedly I was beyond my frustration point at this time, and of course at first meeting I do not know this man. We spoke a little bit, as I always want to vet the person that's about to hook up my pride and joy. Through a few words he understood my frustration and knew where I was coming from. He told me an old adage from his country that made absolute sense as to what I was feeling. I appreciated that. Here's the part I can't thank enough.... When it comes to hooking up my lowered/heavily modified sports car, most people don't give a shit about how they do it and how it gets dragged up the bed. Not Hotak. I had been sitting there for a long time and my frustration got the better of me, as he was on the ground looking for the best spot to hook up the car, I told him that I just wanted to go home and "I don't care if it scrapes, just drag it up" he stopped what he was doing to look at me and said "you may not right now, but I care" this man continued to maneuver blocks back and forth under my tires as they rolled up the tow truck. If I could convey with true emphasis the care that he took with my vehicle, it would almost make me shed a tear. He quickly and efficiently knew exactly what was needed to get the vehicle at the proper angle, and had no problem or frustration running from one side of the car to the other moving the wood blocks as the car rolled. This man is a true SUPERSTAR and is GREAT at what he does. FAR BEYOND THAT and above all.... he is a good human being. He cares from his core. Him and I may never see each other again, but I want to express my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart for his professionalism, efficiency, and his downright Humanity. If I ever need any Services, I will recommend and use Quick Towing without hesitation. Just because I know that someone like him is employed there. I needed a tow as my car was overheating heating on Wednesday night. It ended up being almost $300. They gave me an estimate of 60-90 minutes in wait time, after 2 hours I Called them back, and they could not get ahold of my driver. I ended up waiting over starting about 10:30pm for them to tell me they could offer a different driver with an extra wait time of another 60-90 minutes. At this point I requested a refund in which they tried to argue with me about it. I did eventually have a refund processed and I am now waiting for that to go back to my account. I would rather put my car in neutral and push it the 15 miles than deal with this company again. read more

I exited off Auto Mall and realized my front passenger side tire was low. And I mean really low - 4 psi kinda low. As it turns out, I have a flat tire. Attempted to put air into it to no avail. So of course, I Yelped for a tow service and found Quick Towing. Called them, told them what happened, They asked what model and made the car was and what was wrong. They said they needed to take out the flatbed since the tire's flat and that it would take 30 minutes. They were on time! Asked me to back out the car out of the parking space and the tow truck driver positioned the car and drove it up the ramp. He locked it down and headed off to Costco (about five minute drive away) where we were going to get our brand new tires - all four of them! Quick Towing came to my rescue and delivered! I hope that I'm never in this situation again? But if I am, I'll know who to call! They're reasonably priced, responsive and straight-forward. Payment was easy - they accept cards. I also confirmed they tow long distance. The Supra has a low profile and I was worried the car wouldn't make it up the flat bed. Quick Towing met me at the dealership and within minutes had the vehicle on the flat bed without a scratch! If you own a low vehicle, rare exotic or a show car, look no further. My car stopped running in the middle of an intersection and was pushed by two awesome gentlemen to the 76 station, off of Automall parkway, yesterday (THANKS GUYS! - Teamwork makes the dreamwork). I commute from Mt. View to Stockton, so not having a running vehicle is especially problematic. I called Quick Towing and I got a live person right away. This was an emergency and I didn't need to add more stress by going with a company that would take advantage of the situation. Called through insurance company. No response in an hour. Allstate told me waiting for another 30mins, but when I contacted the tow company directly, he said need additional 1 hr. After waiting for another one more hour, there is still no response no car coming either. I called the company again, the driver said he called the insurance company to cancel the service without notifying me at all. It turned out waste my nearly 3 hrs waiting for nothing. I called AAA for a tow and they sent Quick Towing to my car. The driver didn't seem to know what she was doing and asked if I had any jumper cables, which I did. I gave them to her and she apparently crossed the wires and started my wiring harness on fire. My car is now a total loss. I met with AAA and the man I believe is the owner, Max, and I was reassured that they would fix my car and make it right. That never happened and they would not even provide their insurance company information to me, in order to file a claim. Interesting, how there are suddenly so many "great" reviews for these people in the past few months.,,,I just read the response by the owner, and that is not true. I won't bore you with the details, but when AAA abandoned me for hours in the dark in Emeryville, Josh (I think his name was Josh) took excellent care with my situation. AAA was going to try to charge me for a shorter "convenience tow" than the one they had abandoned me for, but Josh volunteered to tow my truck this very short distance at no additional cost, so I was able to avoid a parking ticket. He even let me go home before getting there, which breaks AAA policy, but they had already left me there for 4 hours, and I was SO thankful to be able to leave! I really hope that Josh didn't get in any trouble for his extra help... Any business that hires a driver like Josh has got to be great. We were stranded in Berkeley with a flat tire at night. AAA was a total failure and we eventually found Quick Towing. In the end, we were able to use an air compressor to fill our tire and get across the bridge. However, these guys had already dedicated a tow truck to our case and had the truck "on standby" until we called from home to let the owner (of Quick Towing) know that we got home safety. They left our trailer sitting overnight and then we were told that the storage fee would be 15 dollars a night. My car broke in Hayward, and I needed to get it to walnut creek. 511 dispatched Campbell I was told $180 they showed up and the and informed me it's a $180 per hour not mentioned to me on the phone, also he was already an hour into it. The driver then told me I had to pay for his drive back to San Jose, so it would cost me $720. My insurance company makes me pay then send in the bill, so I wasn't happy about that. I then googled cheap towing company, this company had 5stars so I called. Imagine my shock when they said $245. I asked is that per hour? No that's the total cost. It's Friday afternoon in Oakland, time for everyone to go to work and my husband's car wouldn't start so we found a mechanic that was open on Saturdays in San Leandro, and started looking for a towing company. I called another company but they explained that since the Nissan Murano is all wheel drive, I would need a flatbed, and they didn't have one. I saw all the stars next to Quick Towing and they had an easy to remember number so I gave them a call. The owner (?) Max, was very helpful. He gave me a quote right away, and told me the driver would call me back. Five minutes later Jeff was on the phone, and told me that he could go pick up the truck and be to my house within 45 minutes. Yay! Around 40 minutes later Jeff called back to let me know he had hit some traffic, but was getting close. I confirmed my address with him, and about 10 minutes later he was pulling up to my address in a shiny, bright orange flatbed truck. He loaded up the Murano, and off they went to the mechanics. Later that night I got a call from Jeff asking me if I had called him for a tow. When I reminded him he had already towed my car he told me that he saw my number in his phone and thought it was the new customer he was on his way to, and we had a good laugh. Wow, nice to know he would take the time to try to find someone who had called and was needing help. Later my husband told me there was a problem with towing guys credit card machine, and he was unable to make payment. Soooo, they just trusted us to get the funds to them as soon as we could?! What tow company does that? Amazing. They didn't feel creepy or shysty like a lot of tow guys one meets. So we are getting ready to get them their money today. Max asked me if I was a yelp customer, which I am, and I promised him I would put my review in Yelp and so here it is. I will definitely call this company again should the need arise. read more
