My car died on the highway ahead of a curve right before an exit which put me in a very precarious situation. I called Bay Area Express Towing and they rescued me in under 30 minutes. It was amazing . I was so scared to get out of my car, I had to climb through the window of the passenger seat to exit the vehicle. I also had to climb on to a concrete wall that dropped about 20 feet on the other side of it while speeding cars were within arms distance. I'm grateful beyond words for the kindness of the towing agent who talked me through the whole experience. In fact, he had a pick-up scheduled elsewhere are re-routed to me because I he recognized that I was in a dangerous location. Even more impressive was how he took my car home and delivered it to my boyfriend without my help because that day I was on my way to hosting a high profile event for a construction project nearby. "Thankful" doesn't really cut it. read more

Excellent owner operator! Got a car out of a VERY right and tricky spot between a pillar and wall and. Tight turning radius when the car wouldn't start. Took them 2 hours with 3 people. Highly recommended! read more

It was easy to schedule a tow, they called before arrival, showed up on time, and the price for a local tow was reasonable. The driver was friendly and efficient, and wore a mask at all times (much appreciated!). I'm deducting a star for the oil that their flat bed tow truck dripped on my pavers. There was also a $5 surcharge for using a credit card that was not mentioned in advance. read more

I called this morning at 5am several times with no answer. Called again at 6am and left a message . . . never got a call back.

Sunday late afternoon my daughter's car died on an intersection in Fremont. Thankfully a family helped push her car safely in a parking lot. Geico gave me a list of towing companies to call since at the time her car wasn't covered for road assistance. Most if not all were not available until the next morning. I took a chance and searched on Yelp. No one answered but I left a message praying that someone would call back. 20 min later someone called. He said he would come help me in a few hours and he did! Honest and reliable! Thank you again!!!! read more

Sam is fantastic! After having 2 tow companies not being able to help me (needed a wheel lift since my Prius won't go into Neutral without it being on and it was dead) Sam helped me out towing to my house and my shop. Great prompt service and will definitely use them again if I ever have issues! read more

Very quick to have my car towed. Lost my car key, and they came to unlock my car and tow to the dealership. The driver was very nice and helpful. My dogs even liked him. They called before arriving and showed up earlier then planned. Driver wore mask and was friendly. Thank you for your quick response on short notice. read more

Sam came to my rescue yesterday when I discovered a flat tire, upon walking out of a friend's house. I called and he was there very quickly, put on my spare tire, and had me on my way promptly. Polite, friendly, cheerful, helpful -- everything I needed at that stressful moment! When I called, the person I spoke with was very accommodating, had me text the address, and was patient when explaining the pros/cons of my options (install the spare vs. tow my car to the tire store). Of course I hope I never need a tow truck again, but if I do, I'll definitely call them! read more

This company is great! I broke down on Hwy 84 near 880, 200 miles from home. I selected to call them from their high Yelp rating. They did not disappoint. The staff was both helpful on the phone and when the tow arrived, it was timely. The tow driver was friendly, caring, and put safety first. I don't rate a lot of businesses, but I felt I needed to with this business read more

Stuck on the side of the Freeway a while back in Newark price shopping for a tow. Bay Express came when he said he would and was very friendly. Some of the other places I called either wanted too much or would take too long. I'd definitely use them again if I needed a tow! read more

While AAA gave me an estimated time of 3 hrs for towing Sean helped me out in half an hour and was very responsive. Excellent service when I needed it at night! read more

Awesome service from Emal today! It was pouring hard in Fremont and he was able to come tow our car earlier than we expected. He was quick and very efficient with his work. Great guy to talk to as well. Rate was very VERY reasonable. Couldn't have asked for better service! Thank you so much! read more

Very prompt response and Sean was very helpful and ensured that my vehicle was placed on the flatbed as safely as possible (it was a bit low, so he was keeping a keen eye out on clearance) and made sure that the wheel restraints weren't damaging to the wheels themselves. He took the same precautions getting the vehicle off the flatbed and into my driveway. Would definitely use them again. read more

Very helpful. Helped us out of a huge jam in the middle of the night. Will certainly do business with them again if a situation arises! read more

Excellent and efficient tow service from Bay Express. My tire blew out on the 880 mid-day today. Yelped and found this spot with 5 star reviews, called, got an immediate answer, sent them my location via text, and Sean arrived within 20 minutes. Packed up the car within 5 minutes, and we were on our way to the tire repair shop. Once we got there, he settled the claim info with my insurance in 5 minutes and we parted ways. Streamlined informative service with excellent communication. I am impressed. Would definitely use the again. Highly recommend. read more

I am happy with the service it arrived exactly the time we agreed, shawn was wonderful to coordinate! Thanks shawn! Highly recommended

The best tow company for the Tri-Cities. Quick to respond, friendly and reasonable. Nice having someone close by that can help manage the bad situation of breaking down on the 880. read more

Sam is outstanding! On New Year day, he was prompt, courteous and made sure to talk about his special for the day. Helped us on the side of 880 N. Thanks, Sam! read more

Shawn was great! I've never spoke to a tow man who's been so polite, seriously! I thought I called the wrong company but he was so helpful, kind and helped me as soon as he could! When he got delayed, he would text me updates (who does that?!). It was awesome! He arrived in the middle of rush hour and we left the lot in less than ten minutes AND I got a ride to the auto shop where my car was taken to. Totally reasonable prices, not that I'm hoping to have to use a towing service again but would definitely go with this company! read more

Great service, fast and friendly, prices are very affordable, the guy who helped me came exactly at the time he said, their prices are way more less than most services around the Bay Area, in my opinion I would use this service again and recommend it read more

After a long upsetting conversation with my AAA insurance and membership. These guys came to the rescue with a quick service and they were super nice! Will be calling them if we ever need the help again. Thank you! read more

Had a car picked up today to go to Pick n Pull. Sean, (not sure how he spells it), came by and picked up the car. Was a car i had parted out. Sean came during the designated time window and picked up the car. Car had no wheel/tires, which was not a problem for him. He had all the right tools to load it without wheels/tires. Looks like he has all the right tools that can be used for towing lowered vehicles as well. Will definitely be using him for future tows. I have local customers here in the East Bay always needing a tow to have their car towed to my shop, Nor Cal Auto Stylez located in Fremont, CA. He is VERY nice and polite. Was helpful and informative. I HIGHLY recommend him and his services, read more

Came to my rescue when my car got stuck in the parking lot during heavy traffic hour. Thank you!

Legit business. My car's clutch went out and needed to be towed home. Called my insurance company and they were getting arrival times of 2 and a half hours! Some companies didn't want to help me because my car was lowered. They finally got ahold of this company and they were great. Arrived to where I was in less than 30 minutes. Was able to get my car on the back of the truck no problem. Drove carefully to make sure my car wouldn't fall off and got home in decent time. He even helped me push it into place even though it was raining. Would definitely recommend and will be calling them if I ever need a tow in the future. Thanks for the great service. I greatly appreciate it. read more

Great service, very punctual! Only took em 15 minutes to get here. I got my car towed from newark to Hayward. Driver was very helpful, my car was lowered and they did excellent job making sure the bottom of the front bumper didn't scratch read more

Sean rescued us when the alternator failed on the 880 in gridlock traffic. After chatting with him on the 40 mile ride home I got to know a little bit about his business and could clearly see he is operating a trustworthy company with the customer always in mind. Highly recommend this company. The rate is very reasonably as well. read more

Great experience with Bay Express Towing. I was broken down on an on ramp in a horrible location. Driver came way before estimated time and he was extremely courteous and kind. He was knowledgeable of what was going on and his positive attitude was refreshing in an otherwise horrible day. I have never tipped a tow truck driver before this guy but felt inclined to after our experience. I highly recommend Bay express towing. read more

Awesome service. We initially called a different towing company that was affiliated with our ins. company. This was at 1pm. They kept delaying their ETA. 20 minutes turned into 90 minutes. Then another 2 hrs. We felt we were getting the runaround. After the 3rd time, now at 5pm, we canceled with the tow company & contacted Bay Express & just as promised, Sean (I think that was his name) met us in 15 minutes. Nice guy and got my car to my house across town. I would totally recommend them for great & friendly customer service! Thank you so much!! read more

Now I can't say these people unlocked my car far better than the next guy, because the entire ordeal usually takes 5 minutes or less no matter who does it. BUT, they agreed to a flat rate before they came, charged 1/2 what some others quoted, showed up in minutes, and were very courteous. They have found a place in my cell phone contacts, and I am sure if I need tow service, a flat fixed, or my keys rescued from a locked car, they will be who I call. read more
